My father is doing very well here. I really like the fact that the staff was friendly and was able to meet all the requested we needed. This community is very well known in the community. We found the community to be very clean and taken care of. The meals are excellent. My brother is offered alot of various activities. My family recommends this for a great value and great care for loved ones.

Things are going fine with my mom at The Gardens of Sun City. The staff are friendly every time I go to visit her. She is in the memory care unit. They offer a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy. They keep the community well taken care of and I would recommend it.

This is a good community for my niece. The rooms and grounds are well kept. The staff is excellent and they attend to all her needs. She loves the meals and eats the great food that they have to offer. A great value for a nice home.

My mother has been living at Paintbrush in a lovely apartment for a month now. The staff is very attentive and friendly. It's nice to be welcomed with a friendly smile each time my family and I visit. Facility is very clean and well maintained. Food is great too! It's nice to be able to have a nice meal with mom in the dining room.

I have really enjoyed having my mother at Paintbrush Assisted Living, she's doing well. However, she is diabetic and they have not provided a diabetic food menu item for her. Her Dr has it on her orders as well that she needs to be on a diabetic diet. There is another resident having the same issue as well. There are not very many activities, especially in the evening. After the activities director leaves for the day, the residents are very bored. I think this place could use a dietitian and evening activities.

Things are going fine. So far, I do not have any complaints or problems with the staff or the facility at Brookdale Sellwood. Things are going really good so far.

Very polite really welcomed my mom then started getting calls about my mom and her needs I thought they were going to take of this I was wrong, disappointed.

The problem that I had was that when different people take over the shifts, instead of reading about the resident, they call and ask you questions that are on his chart and it is kind of scary. That is the only thing, just better organization. Other than that, the place is nice and they do try to include the residents in activities and it is better than the place he was at before.

My loved one has been there a couple of months now and I think it is just a fine facility. I do not have any complaints about the place and my husband seems happy to be there, which is a good indication.

They did really, really well. They were nice. They were good, but they keep everyone up and she was getting tired, I wish they had the option to have them stay in bed and attended to her there. She got too weak and needed to be laying down. I checked a lot of places out and they were the best.

I have no complaints about Pacifica Senior Living Woodmont. It's a good facility. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. My mother feels very safe there and well cared for. It has been a good experience.

I really cannot say a whole lot about the place right now, it is just too soon to tell on a lot of things. There have been a few issues so far with my loved one, but the response of the caregivers has been immediate and we were informed right away.

My mom has lived there since a couple months after it opened. The staff ebb and flow and right now the new hires are fantastic. The mgmt hired new people from the top down. The people who work there for the most part are compassionate. It is expensive and I'm not worried about my mom whiles she's in their care. The chickens are back - can't blame the place when they get eaten by a lose animal- but the greenhouse and raised beds, though they are planted are not actually harvested. It'd be nice to have there someone who takes care and organizes the grown food. DeEtte the new RN is great, Jenny, Katerina, James, Amy are fantastic. The staff really try and the activities are getting better.

I guess the main thing that I would say they can improve on is better communication among the staff. The staff seem very new to each other and sometimes things break down because they are unsure about the functions of the other employees. Overall I like it though and am happy with it.

They just really have a great staff of nurses and caregivers. The main thing is they let my mom set her own schedule and do what she wants. It is secure and the caregivers do not make her do anything. And they have a great management team, they are very helpful. Overall it has been a great experience.

I was under the impression that they handle diabetics (which they do to a degree) but they do not have a dietitian on staff and as such do not have diabetic meals prepared. They have done really well with everything else. The people there are all really nice and helpful. Everything has been great except for their diabetic care.

I visited on May 20 and was very impressed with the independent living cottage shown. I am certainly keeping Summer Breeze high on my list. Thank you!

This is a very nice, quiet, and home-like Memory Care home. There is a nice schedule of activities for the residents. Roxana, who co-manages the facility, gave me a tour. She is very professional and kind. It appears to be well-maintained, & clean. The large deck in back looks out over some nice trees and open space. On the day I visited, the residents sitting in the common living room appeared to have advanced stage Alzheimers (as does my father). This facility is located adjacent to Del Oro High School and Roxana tells me that they have volunteers from Del Oro, which is appealing. They also have activities led twice a week by a volunteer from St. Peter and Paul Church, which might be nice for my Dad, who is religious. All the rooms in the main facility are private rooms with half bath, equipped with grab bars. Shower rooms are off the main hallway and are well-equipped although perhaps a bit small.

This place has a very hip and "Palm Springs" ambiance. It is ideally suited for someone who is fairly mobile and looking for a small, stylish place to live. The staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms are small and not suited to someone who is confined. There are no internal passageways between rooms and dining area, which can be a bit problematic in hot weather but the grounds are beautiful. While their mission is to provide a safe environment for the LGBT community, they welcome everyone.
