The staff have all been really nice. We picked this community because, the staff was really nice, I liked the cleanliness, decor, the way it's fixed up. I also like the activites room and the fact that my loved one has their own room. It would be nice if they did more, wellness checks on the residents. They make the move in process so easy, the people were friendly, the activities lady was really lovely, and pushes the residents to get invloved. Overall, it's expensive but has been a good experience.

They are really working hard to try to improve communication with families as well as the activities that are provided for the residents. They do not have enough staffing for what they are trying to do. There has been a lot of staff turnover and right before we moved in there was new management that took over. We have heard they do not have as much staff as before. People that had been there for a while also said there has been a big increase in the pricing.

We had an ok tour experience at Summerfield of Fresno. The person who gave us the tour was very sweet and the chef also came out and talked to us and he was really nice. There were about 20-30 residents here and I just felt that my loved one would not get the best care due to the staff to resident ratio - we wanted a very small place. I do really like that they focused only on memory care here, but it was just not the right fit for us.

Our family had an in person tour and based off first impression it seemed really nice. The nursing staff was very visible and it looked like all the residents were receiving a lot of attention. However just aesthetically with the decorations it was just not for us, the grounds needed a little upkeeping and there was just not a lot of shade for the residents to sit under.

I would recommend it. This is a locked memory unit. Some of the things that have been promised have not been yet and we are trying to working through those now. The staff were supposed to be helping my loved one get out of bed. They told my sister that if my mother didn't want to get up, then she wouldn't get her up. She was in bed after 2pm. She had not had her medications as well. They provide activities for the memory care residents like painting, coloring, amongst other things. They go on field trips. The staff email regarding any questions and concerns.
