The independent living units are relatively spacious and comfortable. Staff is exceptional at being helpful and responsive to needs.

The place is great and staff are super helpful and nice but there could be a few more resident attendants. We picked this community because of the location, cost and the office staff.

I would recommend the community overall. It is a nice facility that has a good staff.

They were very good about taking out all the decorative things so we could bring Mom's sewing machine. The shower was tough for Mom. We said she needed help showering but didn't get it. The hand held shower was too far away from the built in bench.

It was smaller and same staff for each resident. I would recommend it to a friend. There isn't much turnover on caregivers and the Director has been there since the beginning, for 23 years.

My dad has been here for over two years. Most of the staff are drawn to this type of work and really care about the residents. If there are any issues, I bring them to the management and they are addressed and remedied.

All of the staff members that we came in contact with at Pacifica Senior Living Woodmont were pleasant and accommodating. The only complaints we had was the quality of the food, housekeeping was very poor and the community is showing its age but they were in process of updating the apartments while we were there. The move in process was smooth and the staff did all they could do to keep my loved one, but she was determined to return home. We only did respite stays. Overall, I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Woodmont to others. They are trying to make the community nicer overall.

What we like the most about the Summerfield of Encinitas Memory Care is that they staff make sure that our loved one is at every meals. All of the outings they have for the residents are expectational. The community grounds/hallways are always kept clean.

My sister in law was the one who toured Heritage Woods, but she said that she found it to be "shabby, run down, and depressing" She thought that the residents were much more deteriorated than our father was, so it was not going to be a good fit. The staff were all great, it was just the facility itself that was not.

My only negatives would be with finding caregivers among the facility. I frequently had to go searching for them when needed. It seemed there weren't enough of them around in her area to give mom the care I expected when going there. When I could find someone, they were good. No comment on activities since my mom didn't participate, her choice.

The facility and help were very supportive, knowledgeable and helpful. [name removed] was amazing, receptionist and supportive nursing staff were attentive to Mom. I do think that the food menu could've offered more options for the residents to pick from. This was the first place that was referred to us from A Place for Mom and we would definitely recommend them to others!

My loved one was there for a week. I think the tour, showed me everything I needed to know. My guide was informative and answered my questions. As for the cost, it was comparable with other facilities I looked at.

Based on the experience we have had so far, Sundial Assisted Living so far has seem to be a good fit for my mother. She has met some really nice people there. The staff members are friendly and respectful. Our loved one seems to like the food. Thus, we are satisfied with the selection we made.

Summerfield of Redlands is a beautiful facility, and the staff work very hard to meet the residents' needs.

My loved one has asked several times for bathroom sink to be fixed. It doesn't hold water for 30 seconds and my loved one does a lot of sponge bathing. Also, the toilet paper holder hasn't been fixed. Now I don't live there, but I know my loved one doesn't strip their bed anymore because my loved one says, "they don't know how to make it. First-person put bottom sheet over the top. I asked my loved one to show them how they wanted it made. Kind of teach them. (no reply). Last week whoever cleaned the shower flipped the shower curtain and liner over the rod didn't flip it back over. When my loved one did it, several of the hooks came off, my loved one had a very difficult time fixing it, as they are very weak. Staff is kind, my loved one doesn't eat or use dining room. It probably is a good value for the money, if you can get your bed made, and things fixed. My loved one had to go down stairs before to see if they had a delivery. And a case of food was there, rather than delivered to their room. Please don't let my loved on know I've mentioned this, but these are their words. And they should come from my loved one. My loved one likes the entertainment. And still shy about activities. I don't think it's a reflection on A Place for Mom. They were wonderful finding the place. And the family like's Heritage Woods. Just not the things mentioned and would very much appreciate having these things improved, but that's not your fault or place.

This reflects our experience at Pacifica Senior Living Woodmont so far, but they just got bought out and have all new management and lots of new staff so not sure if these will be accurate going forward.

They were all very friendly from the beginning. It was very well warranted, I would continue to recommend Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest to anyone.

We picked this community, because It was smaller and only has a max of 35 people. The residents have the option to be in smaller groups. They have a TV room, and two eating areas. Things seem to be going okay. It's a great place for any one loved one who is less social. I would recommend to other families.

This community was our second choice but we just didn't get the homey feeling we wanted and were looking for. [name removed] who gave us the tour was super nice and she was able to answer any questions that I had.
