New Perspective Senior Living

Wonderful! That's the word that comes to my mind, when I think of the care that mom receives from the staff. I know mom's in great hands. They know her, assist her and urge her along with kindness. It seems any member of staff that I've spoken to knows mom by her first name - big plus. Over the last month, a change had to be made for mom and [name removed] et al went at it with gusto. I was very pleased with their prompt actions and the results. I also appreciated [name removed] for her actions. 5 GOLD STARS for all involved. PS: Nice touch with the recent letter outlining options residents can consider to mitigate cost.

I am very happy with Southwest Commons. We chose this facility because they allowed my mom who has dementia and my dad stay in same room and both could go where ever they wanted to throughout the building. Others my mom was restricted to one area. Staff are very friendly. They always try to keep my mom engaged in activities during the day.

Our family could not say enough about the facility, the caretakers, and the management at SW Commons. It comes with a high recommendation from each member of our family! My father was a resident here for about 5 months. He was on hospice and needed a higher level of care which he was able to receive in an Assisted Living setting. We were blessed by the fellowship he had at mealtimes and activities, and took full advantage of the outdoor courtyard where we spent many afternoons and evenings. His suite became our home and the residents and employees truly became our family. They ALL did more than care for him, they cared about him and our family. As my father's disease progressed our family was blessed with compassion and my father with comfort. In the rare occasion we had an issue or recommendation, it was always quickly resolved. There are no words that can express the gratitude that our family has for all those that cared for my father. So simply, Thank you!

I enjoy the apartment and all of the people! I have been going to happy hour and have a very nice time there. Staff has been very helpful and the move in process was smooth. I have enjoyed walking and biking in the area. I'm happy to be living here!

Southwest Commons was recommended to us by [name removed] from A Place for Mom. It was perfect for our particular situation and our loved one adjusted quite easily. The staff was outstanding and it was such a relief to know she was being well cared for. Our loved one made friends and enjoyed meals and activities and we saw her laugh and smile and engage more than she had in the few years prior to moving into Southwest Commons.

I work her as a CNA/RST and these residents are getting good care. I've been doing this for over 50 years. Everything including activities are good. The meals need much improvement. Overall happy reisdent.

I believe in teamwork and it's taking a village and special group of people to work in senior living, healthcare alone! Upon entering this community, you see the liveliness in the residents, everyone has a smile. The Director greets you and concierge-- Sue is such a beauty. 10/10 highly recommend.

New Perspectives Carlson Parkway is an outstanding senior facility in all ways. It is very warm and caring place for your loved one. The Executive Director [name removed] maintains a residence that is vibrant, exceptionally clean and a healthy atmosphere for mind, body and soul. My mother has been a resident for almost 3 years and she always refers to NP as her "home". The activity director, [name removed], has many daily activities to stimulate the residents and I was lucky enough to attend the monthly birthday party for 13 August birthdays being celebrated. The food is very creative and always has optional menu items. The grounds are kept very neat and clean and the hallways are wide. There is no "odor" as in some facilities I have been in, in fact you get the feeling you are in a high end apartment complex as you walk the halls. The assistants who help with the residences are caring and loving towards all. I witnessed genuine care and concern many times in my visits. This is the RIGHT place.

Our love one has transitioned to assisted living very well thanks to the staff and residents of NP-Eagan. Everyone has welcomed our family member since move-in day. I visit often and I am always greeted by a staff member. Members of the staff/care team are approachable and eager to help or find the right person to help. I have had good response to my calls and emails. I have found the entire place to be clean and well taken care of. Our love one likes all the activities and can easily find something on the menu that fits the days appetite. Thank you NP for making people feel like they are home and not at a home....

My mom moved into a beautiful one bedroom with a den. The staff is amazing. They care about each resident, greet visitors and make everyone feel special. The building and grounds are well maintained. The nursing staff is great, they do a wonderful job of keeping residents healthy and the support staff keeps them active and engaged.

Our family had a tour with [name removed] recently at the New Perspectives Highland Park location. This community is on the top of our list as we have a conversation about when to help our loved one move. This building may be older; however our priority is location, and the quality of care provided. They were welcoming from the start and took the time to understand what we were asking. We felt blessed to have options like this St. Paul. We could feel the warmth and hospitality of the staff, and residents we met along our tour. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future. Moving somewhere new can be a tough conversation and we left at ease and confident about our options.

Cute and quaint cottages serving seniors needing memory care. Their small environment allows for compassionate and personalized care and services to allow your loved one to age in place. The large outdoor courtyard is breathtaking and one you cannot find anywhere else. This beautiful and enclosed space is perfect for those who enjoy being outside or those who enjoy gardening with various raised garden beds.

Highland Park is a cozy and friendly community. Everyone we met welcomed us and seemed to really enjoy working there. The residents also had positive comments about the community and their experience living there.

I moved to Independent living as I no longer needed Assisted living. No senior living communities staff could be more friendlier or caring. They work hard to create a warm environment so that their residents will be contented. I still visit and enjoy coming to this community.

I love the ambiance, the friendliness of the staff and the love and care our loved one receives. The leadership team made the move in process so smooth and painless and the team consistently proves how they support and care for our loved one.

My aunt invited me to their free Sinatra event last week, and it was an absolute blast! We had so much fun listening to "Sinatra" perform all his classic hits. My aunt and I enjoyed some of the best tri-tip burgers together, making it a truly memorable experience. The staff at New Perspective Long Grove really went above and beyond—they were dancing with the residents, stopping by to chat with us, and even hosted a raffle! I'm so glad we chose this community for my aunt. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, and they definitely know how to have a good time!

New Perspective in Mahtomedi is a wonderful memory care option for those who would benefit from a smaller and quieter setting. The community, which is comprised of 2 single-level cottages, is nestled in a lovely wooded area.

The activities were fine. They just didn't have nearly enough of them… And the clock the cost was twice what we are repaying now. Based on the experience we have had with New Perspective, we would recommend them to other families
