Unfortunately our loved one got sick and was not able to move into the Dalton Place, but the folks that we had met with were very helpful. They were very cooperative with our situation, they offered up suggestion for our family and availability of other staff members if we needed them.

The community is a nice place. My loved one is being well looked after. It isn't as large as some other places. There is not a lot of turnover. It is really important to know that their staff has been there for years. The food has been delivered to the residents rooms due to the pandemic and also the choice of our loved one.

The best part about the community is the room sizes, especially for couples. They are very nice sized and the food is wonderful. They really enjoy the food. They have special events for holidays and do a great job including the families. They also have an on-site pharmacy and an urgent care unit if needed. They also have assisted living and memory care so if your needs change they don't have to move. I would recommend this community to others.

We toured Cypress Place and it was a clean and beautiful facility. Something I noticed was I toured 2 separate times and once was around lunch time, I never saw one other resident while I was there both times.

We chose Arbor Ridge because she lived in the location for many years, it is a little smaller of a facility. She has a studio apartment and it is great for what she needs. I do like that they have a home care service that I am able to hire out if needed. They seem to have activities going on from morning until evening and they have been great about that even through covid. She says the food here is wonderful and she really enjoys it. I am very impressed with how they handled covid, I have still been able to visit her and they have had wonderful control and kept residents safe. I would recommend to other families.

The community is very clean and the staff is also very friendly. communication is good they keep us well informed and up to date with emails. They always have something going on for the residents to do. I would recommend this community to others

Our family was able to do a virtual tour and our experience was really good. This community was very secured it locked on the inside as well as the outside, and we wished we chose this facility for our loved one.

I would recommend it if you don't smoke. You're not allowed to do so in the building. I mostly keep to myself, and they leave you be with no interruptions. I have gone out a little for bingo. I feel like the apartments are expensive.

We chose Hammond Place because even though it is run by a corporation, you still get a sense that it is a personal home or residence. The room sizes here are fine, it was recently renovated as well. I do not believe they have had any covid infections among the residents, when staff tested positive they did a great job locking the facility down and did rapid testing on site on a regular basis. I would recommend to others looking.

It was a little pricey, but I would definitely recommend it. It was very clean. The accommodations were first class. They were very obliging of anything we needed to do. It's hard to say much else due to restrictions at the time. We interacted mostly with the office staff and the nurse over the phone. It was a good experience for us, and our loved one enjoyed it there.

The community is friendly, accommodating, and the residence is well cared for. The food is very good and the rooms are amazing. The good-sized, plenty of storage, bathrooms are spacious, great appliance, and decorated well. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose Chandler Place because of the price point. she was able to have a roommate so it brought the price down, they are pet friendly, and it is a nice looking facility that looks comfortable and not institutional. It was a pleasant place and ended up being a good fit for my mom. I think that they have as a family members always treated me very well. They are quick to call if anything is up and they are informative. I would recommend them to others looking.

Although this pandemic has affected everything I was very pleased with the time that was spent discussing any questions or concerns I had.

When my mom moved from assisted to memory care, the support and hands on of the staff have helped her so much that she looks like Benjamin Button. 2 weeks ago, I thought my mom might have had a year, now I think she might have 10, she is absolutely thriving. The staff are very caring and I have had comfort care visits so I have been able to go back and see first hand. Even when I am in the room they come and interact with us both and do rounds very frequently. The meals here are balanced and my mom really likes them. They are very encouraging with the residents to get involved in the activities that they provide. They do not let them just sit in their chairs. It is expensive but for the care she is receiving, it is worth it. I would absolutely recommend them.

[name removed] was extremely nice and helpful. She setup our tour immediately to meet our needs of urgent placement. We were impressed by the facility and it was our top choice because of location. The facility was clean and the residents all appeared happy. The staff we met were friendly and appeared to enjoy working at Manning Place. We feel our loved one will be happy living here.

Brookdale New Bern staff members are friendly and helpful. They demonstrate commitment to the health and well-being of each and every resident. Our family’s experience is that they respond to our questions and they come up with solutions.

I would highly recommend them for my loved one. The community does a great job with the residents. The communication with the staff is great and are responsive. All the residents are vaccinated now. They are starting to open up things more now.

The meals started off fine, but once everything had to shut down due to covid the food was just not the same it was either in packaged meals or prepared differently. They still tried to get the residents involved in activities whether it was virtually or hallway activities. When it came to the value we were very pleased.

Do your homework and try to figure out what is best for your loved one. look at several communities and get an idea of what is avalible. The communication between the staff and the family is good and they keep us updated. I would recommend this community to others
