The staff at Preston House provided my wife with attentive and compassionate care, meeting her individual needs with diligence. They maintained a safe and clean environment, going above and beyond to meet her needs and keep her engaged, content, and comfortable. The relatively small number of residents and their focus on providing only memory care were the primary reasons I chose Preston House. However, their remarkable care for my wife validated the decision to entrust her well-being to them.

They were always very caring, and offered helpful observations, it is a small place so everyone was always in sight of staff. I felt at ease after the first week of mom being at Preston House, especially after a bad experience at another facility. Consistent care from same doctor as she had in the senior behavioral hospital in Concord. Positive experience all around at PH.

They had availability when we needed it and the location was close to where my mother grew up! The staff makes my Mother feel special!

There was nothing easy about making the decision for my mom to move to NC to be closer to me, her daughter. There was nithing easy about visiting all the places to make a decision...until Arbor Ridge at Stanleyville. The best way to describe it is every other place was in black and white and this place is in living color. My mom feels like she found her miracle and loves living here. I am happy she is happy. The staff cares about all of the residents, the residents are happy and outgoing. I feel like my mom is well cared for. It is bright and clean, food is good. My mom's apartment is warm and cozy. I am so happy we found Arbor Ridge at Stanleyville.

My father who is 93 years young moved into Arbor Ridge in October of 2022. My Dad moved from several states away so this was a major move not only in distance but also life style. The move-in process was easy and the entire staff immediately started helping my Dad adjust to life at Arbor Ridge. I could see firsthand the care and dedication each and every staff member has for the residents. The facility is beautiful and it is well maintained. The apartments are well laid out and the common areas are comfortable and inviting, they are always decorated for the current holiday! The food is very good, served by a staff that is second to none in a comfortable dining room. I always look forward to the food when I join my Dad for a meal! They offer a wide variety of activities for the residents and they work hard keeping everyone engaged. Arbor Ridge not only provides a home for my Dad, but a caring & safe environment which is filled with friends, activities, good food, fun & dignity.

After my mother-in-law passed away, my father-in-law was lonely and mobility issues made it difficult for him to maintain their home, so he chose to move to Arbor Ridge just before Christmas 2023. He has never looked back or regretted the decision! His studio apartment provides privacy and independence and is quite spacious, allowing for a comfortable "living room" area, "office" space, and "bedroom" with plenty of floor space to move around easily. The partial kitchen has everything he needs if he chooses to eat in his room, and the bathroom is large enough for him to maneuver well with his walker. The common areas inside and out are always clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The best part about AR, though, is the kind, respectful, and compassionate staff. They go out of their way to get to know the residents, providing endless opportunities for enrichment and fellowship, attending to their needs and comfort, and ensuring their safety and dignity.

I am very grateful for my experience at Arbor Ridge of Kernersville. My Mom was was very apprehensive about leaving her home and moving into the facility. Thankfully, the director, [name removed], was so patient with us. She never pressured us to rush to commit. She answered all our questions and gave us the opportunity to work out our situation, in our time. Bringing my Mom to Arbor Ridge has been the greatest step towards giving me peace of mind to where my life is no longer consumed with her well-being. Arbor Ridge has allowed me to begin the step of gaining my own life back again. When I go to visit my Mom now, we get to enjoy one another. We sit, we talk, we socialize with the other residents. This is NOT a place you bring your loved one to begin their journey towards death. Instead, it's where they can gain a new perspective on life and start to live again. All the residents are SO VERY KIND. They look out for one another. They are all like family. So blessed!

Caring staff from front door to back door. Always willing to ge the extra mile. Food service staff and meals are excellent. Nurse staff do a great job with communication to are family. And support staff is always ready to help in anyway.

Staff is very helpful and caring and they go above and beyond to assist their residents in any way that they can. There are plenty of activities available and the staff works to encourage social interaction among their residents.

We were very impressed with Arbor Ridge. The facility and the amenities were top notch. We decided that we weren’t ready for that lifestyle yet, but when we are Arbor Ridge will be at the top of our list.

I was impressed with the entire facility from my first visit! The cleanliness, decor, friendly helpful staff, did I mention cleanliness. While moving moms furniture in and getting her apartment ready for her I had at least four different residents approach to ask who was moving in and to let me know that my mom was gonna be very happy there. They themselves love it there.

Everyone from our first visit has been friendly and helpful in decisions we had to make. My moms apartment is spacious, maintenance free, and very clean. Arbor Ridge provides daily heathly meals, activities (bingo, music, arts, library, and movies), and regular outings, along with a caring staff. There's always a warm smile to greet us.

The staff, facility, and services at Arbor Ridge of Stanleyville have provided the perfect home for our loved one. She has had everything she needs in a safe and caring environment. The staff is friendly and genuinely cares about the residents. We have had peace of mind knowing a CNA is there 24/7 if needed. She also raves about the food and the number of activities every day. This facility has been a blessing to our family.

It was not an easy transition for my mom. We had planned on moving her to a rental property that we own. But we quickly realized she could not live alone anymore. Arbor Ridge became the perfect place for her. All meals are provided and housekeeping once per week. The things that were making it difficult for her to live on her own were no longer an issue. They also have nurse aides on staff in case extra care is needed, which it was in the beginning for my mom. She has made friends and participates in activities like painting, Bingo and occasional outings. The staff are very friendly and they know all the residents by name. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for her.

My mom and I recently toured Arbor Ridge, and we were both incredibly impressed! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff and residents. The community is beautifully maintained, clean, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. My mom is very independent but has some mobility challenges, and we truly believe this is the perfect place for her to thrive in this next phase of life. She’s excited about the freedom to come and go as she pleases—without the burden of maintaining a home—and I’m grateful that she’ll be in a safe and caring environment while still being close enough for regular visits. This transition brings us both a huge sense of relief, knowing she’ll be surrounded by support while maintaining her independence. Highly recommend Arbor Ridge to anyone looking for a wonderful senior living community!

My mom is at Arbor Ridge and because she is, I have peace of mind. The facility is lovely and clean. The staff are supportive and kind. The residents are friendly. Arbor Ridge offers many activities such as Bingo, exercise, crafts, trips and more. The dining room is so nice and the food is really good. Check it out!

Keowee Square has been a great place for my loved one. I've come to love the staff here and most do a phenomenal job with a few exceptions. The activities are slim to none when I visit which is very depressing and I'm someone who visits multiple times during the week. I have watched the Activity Director be very unprofessional and use inappropriate language in the front lobby area where we come in to visit. I hope this gets resolved before I have to look at other options. I will say the new Chef has done such a great job and the food he cooks looks and tastes amazing!
