Mustang Creek Estates

My parents are residents at Mustang Creek in Flower Mound. The facility is new and beautifully decorated. The staff is very supportive and accommodating. They are knowledgeable about the changing needs of aging residents in assisted living and memory care.

Staff: So incredibly warm and thoughtful, dedicated. They see each resident as an individual and they have both the desire AND ability (time) to accommodate them individually. They go above and beyond expectations. The low ratio of residents to staff allows the staff to provide personalized care and my mom continues to rave about them after 2+ months. (She was resistant to going and we weren't sure how she would do.... The staff have won her heart!). I am very involved with mom there, and the staff welcome my involvement with her/them. They truly make my mom feel Special! She tells me that every time I see her. Facility: Just gorgeous! Various public areas available for resident use. Colors are cheerful. Lots of natural light. Clean Clean Clean - and smells clean or else like someone just baked something...because they often have! With thoughtful placement and attention to furniture size, mom has more storage than she needs and has turned the window alcove into a laptop/office space by the window with a little ladder desk and chair. Generous private bath with space for additional cabinets if desired. They have allowed mom to place her garden flag in the planting bed outside her window so she can look out and see something she enjoys.

I been working here for almost 7 months i love taking care of my residents there so sweet make me laugh and my coworkers are so nice and i enjoy helping them out the residents always have a smile in there smile in there face and it just makes me feel better im helping them with things they need help with and my day be going by quick with just being with the residents.

The staff has been wonderful very helpful if I had a problem, no matter how minor it was. I discussed it with them and it was corrected immediately. I'm happy where she's at and I think she's getting the care of this properly and needed. I would give them probably a four on the food because I haven't tried it, but it smells good every time I've been in there. I visited her every day almost but the rest of it I would give a five it's a good place a solid place I like it because it's small to a certain degree and it's more personalized to help the patient

The staff [names removed]where great working with enrolling my loved one. The care takers are all very sweet and care about my loved one. The residence get home cooking every meal .My loved one seems very happy.

Absolutely recommend! The style of 10 residents per house and 6 houses makes it very comfy for our loved one. The staff is kind and fun too! Location, price is all-inclusive and single rooms is what attracted us.

All inclusive price and the "feels like home" feeling when you walk in the front door has made this a transition wonderful for our mom and peace of mind for us, her family.

Both of my parents were residents of Mustang Creek Estates. During their stay, we ended up in all three types of their houses: assisted living, memory care, and elevated assisted living. My parents started in assisted living. My father had to go the hospital for a little while, and that is when the management correctly suggest my mother move to the memory care house. My father joined here there instead of staying in one of the other houses until she passed. He moved to the elevated assisted living house afterwards because his motor function was declining. In all three cases, the direct care takers visibly cared about their residents. The management was attentive and communicative to requests and needs. There is a lot happening at the community on a daily basis, so I can appreciate the work load the management has to deal with. MCE was a value being a flat cost for all services listed, which included just about everything needed on a daily basis - food and services.

I have been living at MCE since 2022. The staff is amazing especially [name removed]. The caregivers are very nice and helpful. This is my forever home and my family is close by. I am a big football fan and play bingo every time we have it. We are like a family and eat together except for 4-5 of the thirteen residents.

First, it was the recommendation of [name removed] with A Place For Mom. Second, I like the homey feel, like the open kitchen and everyone eating around one big table

Mustang Creek does such a good job of making sure everything feels so comfortable. Its so nice to be able to enjoy the living and dining rooms just as we would in our own home. Then to have a comfy bedroom to retreat to for a good night sleep with the temp set at the perfect degree! I'm so happy!

Mustang Creek Estates is exceptional. The staff are sensitive to the needs of the residents. This was a good choice for the memory care resident. Compared to other facilities, like [community removed] where the staff is careless and retaliatory, it gets an A. The food is home cooked and cooked on site. The delicious odors give residents a feeling of home. Rooms and closets are ample.

Nice place to spend some time! 5 stars! Highly recommended!

Everyone is very sweet and attentive. The smaller number of residents makes for a very pleasurable experience. Mom enjoys the food. They check on her regularly and love on her. They provide TV Cable and telephone service as part of the package

We like that they will cook a meal outside of official meal hours - that is very nice! I also value their unlimited visiting hours!

The home took good care of my mother. Knowing that my mother was hard to care for thet did a great job. They even provided me direction for more help which she qualified for. The food was very good and home made there in the same building

What we like the most about the community is the Cost. When trying to figure out this whole process I was shocked at the price for someone that doesn't work and how they could afford this.. its crazy

The facility tour conducted by [name removed] was positive and inviting. Loved the open dining concept. [name removed] in House B, accepted our mother in late stages of dementia w/alzheimers. Their care was genuine and the staff communicated frequently regarding her deteriorating condition. They recognized her failure to thrive & as a family we agreed to hospice. It was the best decision as her final days were peaceful and she was surrounded by loving caregivers. The MCE staff has been so kind to our family & we always felt welcomed. My father broke his hip & we chose MCE for his long term recovery. Recognizing my mom’s rapid decline, the staff encouraged my mom to “wait” for my dad to get there. Shortly after he arrived and they sat together , she passed away. I am grateful to MCE for their compassion and allowing my dad to recover and grieve in a supportive, familiar place. I can count on them to keep me informed and to offer advice. They have been a comforting blanket.

The staff is awesome and they are very helpful! My husband loves the meals. It is very clean at Mustang Creek Estates. We are pleased with the value.

We moved my Aunt to Mustang Creek Estates the very first day they opened. We are so glad we did. Her progress has been amazing. At MCE she is doing more things for herself, she is more interactive, smiles more. She has high compliments for the food served. I have shared meals with her from time to time and I agree. Yum! I love seeing her smiling face and big blue eyes.Something I was missing at her last facility. The people here (administrators, staff, caregivers) are so helpful, loving and caring. They want the best for each resident and it shows. They are so welcoming to my husband and I that we feel a part of the Mustang Family. We highly, highly recommend Mustang Creek Estates Flower Mound.
