This is a run of the mill community for your loved one. Nothing special and nothing really bad about the community either.

For the price, it's a safe clean community. The communication from the staff is good for covid but not nearly for family updates. I would recommend this community to others

We chose Sunrise of Blue Bell because they needed respite care since their care taker was out of town. The biggest issue they had was with the food is she says there is not a lot variety on the menu to choose from. It is hard because we were not able to go inside the facility due to quarantine.

Since we installed the camera inMoms room I have noticed the hard work, dedication and compassion [name removed] has shown my Mother. I also have noticed most of your staff who just come into Moms room and put food, drinks, etc. on her bed table and leave. I have asked [name removed] to please serve some soft foods and soups for [name removed]......she has very few teeth. I hope this letter brings our family some hope that Mom can feel better.......afterAll she will be CELEBRATING her 100th BIRTHDAY on [date removed]!!! If I am allowed to help in anyway concerning Moms’ care, please don’t hesitate to call on me! Please let [name removed] know, she is doing an excellent job and others could learn from her ruff and gruff techniques! She manages to keep the residents clean, gets them to eat and drink and if time permits, A HUG OR TWO TO START THE DAY!!!!????

I didn't have a positive experience at this community. There was issues with my loved ones infection and this lead to further issues for my loved one. There were a few times where my loved one wasn't being bathed when I visited. Most of the staff was nice and cared for my loved one daily. The community worked with me on some items I had concerns about. However, this community was undergoing several management changes at this time. The price was reasonable, they initially worked with me. Due to my experience, I moved my loved one out of this community. I can't speak to the community currently. From what I have heard, there have been other people that have had similar experience to mine in the past.

I would like to know the owner of this facility. So sad I have my my mom in their care. I have never seen so such miscommunication in a facility. Also the aides need to be Reminded the residents are paying a lot of money for staying there which is paying their salaries. It deeply saddens me that my only wish to win the lottery to get my home.

Cardinal Village is a very nice place. The rooms did not have kitchenettes and that is something I want for my mother.

Supposedly all levels of care from Independent on up but all the people we saw there were solidly in the Assisted Living category and the pricing *begins* at Assisted Living levels PLUS any level of care. The semi-private rooms were tiny and smelly. Felt dreary and institutional. Food choices described were clearly repetitive and bland. Definite pass. The woman we spoke with was helpful and when she realized we were blindsided by the AL and up pricing suggested another Morningside location nearby,

This place was very smelly,it did look fairly clean, but had a bad odor. The people in this place are more disabled and need extreme care. It was nice that they let you paint the room and make it your own. I would not choose this place for my Mama.

I had recently taken a tour of this community and things went okay for us. The staff where professional and on time to our appointment we had set. They had a nice floor plan and the residents seemed to be engaged in different activities. They just did not have the wow factor that I was looking for in a first impression.

The interior of this relatively new property is beautiful with clean and spacious common areas. Exterior spaces are okay, but not particularly impressive. Views from resident apartments are not as attractive as other communities that I have visited. This community is slightly set back from a busy highway. Resident apartments, whether studio or one bedroom, are relatively small when considering the high monthly fee. Transportation is provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays for medical appointments. Transportation is somewhat limited for other matters. A physician is on-site every other Wednesday. On-site nursing is only available for 8 hours each day, but staff are seeking to expand those hours to 12 hours per day. Like other senior communities that I have toured, there is a 24-hour bistro, but unlike other senior communities, that bistro lacks snacks. Personal laundry service is available once per week for a monthly rate of $40/month. In the alternative, like other senior communities, there are free washers/dryers on each floor. Bed linen laundry service is provided at no extra cost (part of monthly rent). The fact that the infrastructure and services for residents are not as extensive (in terms of available hours/days or hours/week) as other communities coupled with the highest monthly rental rates that I have come across thus far, makes this property of less interest than other senior communities that I have toured.

On my tour I noticed that the community smelled like urine. When you came to the waiting area it smelled bad. I met the head of nursing and I really liked her. She was very strong and I thought she would be good. The care seemed pretty good. I did not like the facility, I was not as airy and bright like the place I liked. It looks like a very nice community.

The facility was nice. The rooms, cafeteria and seating areas were all very nice. Most of the people were very nice. However, I overhead one of the workers using some very offensive language that went on a for a few minutes. I was offended and a RED FLAG for me not to select the facility for my mom to live.

My father in law is living here at a nice community. We find the staff to be nice and helpful. He seems to be happy with the care here. They do offer him activities when he is wanting to participate. Families should check out the care that is offered here for there loved one to see if it would be a good fit for what they are looking for in care.

The rooms at this community are small and it was the highest priced community we looked at. It had an unusual odor when I walked in. I heard mixed reviews of this community. The staff I met were nice and knowledgable.

The is a nice community that is very clean and appealing. The staff is very nice and helpful . They have great activities to stay active. I would highly recommend it for others seeking good care for a family member.

This is a lovely old building. It seemed kind of dark in the community. I feel they needed to have a way to lighten up this community. The staff I meet were very nice. They do allow pets and have an enclosed courtyard.

Denise [removed] is the activities star at Morningside. My mother lived there for a year and LOVED all the live music and dancing. Denise kept things lively by getting people up to dance or dancing with the residents herself. She made sure that everyone who was able got involved, even if it was just by dancing in their seats. She always had a cheerful engaging demeanor somehow making even average things seem exciting. Denise really goes the extra mile for residents and family members, even visiting my mom in her new assisted living when she needed to move. I wish she could have come with us!

Sunrise Senior Living may not be my mother's home for much longer . While overall the staff are nice there are a few issues with following up and making sure my mom is taken care of. The food seems ok but we did have an issue with an undercooked piece of chicken that was brought to her. They do offer some activities for her to participate in. I would definitely think twice before having a loved one move in here.

The location is perfect and the facility quite clean. There did not seem to be a lot of programs that would keep the residents engaged as much as at least one other facility.
