This facility was in bad shape, we were not impressed.

I would advise to look for somewhere else other than this community for your loved one. With the staff it just depends there are some people who are very nice and then there are some staff that are not nice also.

Not as convenient for pets. The distance from family was too far. It was a good choice. The management was super kind and helpful.

We chose Arbor Rose because they were cleaner than the rest, we were able to tour the facility during covid and the staff members seemed to be pleasant. We also liked that the monthly rent was all inclusive especially since she does not eat the meals. She was able to have her own private room, but they do offer shared rooms as well. I would like to have a report given about her care and what she is doing, I think that would be helpful. She seems happy here and I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Pros: nice staff. Cons: dated decor, blah rooms, no outdoor access from room, must eat in dining room, felt like an old folks home.

The location is really pretty and it is an easy facility to get here. I do like the people who work here but I think they are short staffed and she is not getting the care my needs. I think it is more set up for residents who are mobile and who can take care of themselves. They do offer a lot of activities. They send out emails with bigger changes, but others than that any updates on my mom and her care they have not been great about. I would not recommend based on our experience.

They did not have any protocol for covid when it started.

It is a beautiful facility, the food they serve is tasty and they have a nice variety. However they are understaffed and had gone without a house keeper for two weeks. Our loved ones room was in bad shape because of it. For someone that is really independent it is a great place, but if you need assistance not so much. Where the kitchen, dining hall and living rooms is within the community was very clean, but the apartments themselves were not so clean. The activities were great, they had exercise classes, games, movies, and live entertainment.

We toured this facility twice with my mother. It's fairly nice, but my mother didn't care for it much. Also, I noticed there were air freshener plug-ins in quite a few outlets, and this made the hallways smell overly perfumed. It irritated my asthma just walking through, I can't imagine it would have been good for my mother living with the smell.

My mother-in-law is here in this community and she is always clean, they are getting her up and engaged in the daily activities. They have good food here and she eats well and they have snacks if they want as well. It is clean, safe and nice. It is conveniently located for us to visit often. I would recommend this community.

I had an okay tour of this community. Everyone was kind to my family. From what I saw everything looked nice, and well-kept. The only issue I had with the community, was that there was a funny smell lingering around the facility.The experience went well, but I did not feel this was the community for us.

My mother had a hard time transitioning to the move to Arbor Rose so they have been working with her and she is starting to come around. They do have activities in the memory unit on limited bases but they also take the residents out to the main floor for those activities and the offer to take them on field trips too. There is a nice dining area for them to eat in the memory unit too. I also like that there is a resident doctor who sees my mom on regular basis and monitors all her meds. I feel the daytime staff are exceptional, but evening shifts are understaffed and that affects their evening meals and getting them ready for bed. I would definitely recommend Arbor rose to my family and friends.

Most of the staff at this community are friendly and go the extra mile. They do the ladies hair twice a week. They take them on trips and have activities during the week. The food is good and they keep the community clean. They are changing some of the staff so we are waiting to see how things may change. They are working with us on some minor concerns we have.

Nice place. Bedroom only. Day Club. No activities or calendar seen.

My father is at this community. The staff are making some changes. They need improvements on the care for him. We found him left unattended. They had a maintenance man doing care taking. They need major improvements in the care. The care has gotten better lately. The staff are improving. He seems to like the meals. They do offer activities for those who want to participate. We would recommend families to tour this community for care for a loved one.

The assisted living section was very nice, but I wasn't too impressed with the memory care area. I think my Dad still has too much going on to be in that area.

My mom stayed in this facility for approximately 3 months and overall we were somewhat satisfied with the services rendered. There were a couple of areas of concern such as clothing and personal items being taken on a regular basis and staff not being able to resolve the issue. On several occasions my mom was found by family in other people's rooms confused and not completely dressed. We brought all of these concerns to the attention of the staff with little Improvement. Overall it is my opinion and my dad's opinion that at this facility they are understaffed and under qualified to take on so many patients. I would recommend looking for another facility for your loved one that may be more suitable and prepared for dementia patients.

Having moved my loved one from a living center that was an awful place, I was hoping this community would be my answer for excellent care services for my loved one. I chose this community for the location and convenience so I can stop by on a regular basis to visit.. I am challenged daily and have come to realize that if you are not there everyday checking and double checking the care they get, you may as well take care of them yourself. It appears this community is lacking in some of the more important things I had hoped would be different. My concern is the ratio of caretakers to residents as it appears to have lower staffing on weekends. Concerned that either there is a lack of knowledge or communication within the staff on resident specific needs, especially when it comes to medication and medication administering as there have been issues on several occasions. Having to ask several times again and again to get the inclusive services offered in the contract. I do not know if the nutritious meals are healthy as there are no nutritional facts are on the menu, specifically salt and sugar per serving. I am hoping this is just a phase this community is going thru. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt to correct all the issues. Some of these are getting better already, but until I see a significant change I would suggest asking lots of questions, meet with the caretakers. Plan on spending time making sure you know exactly what the care for your loved one will be receiving, not just on paper but in real life, everyday hands on care. Plan on visiting your loved one often! I can say that all the staff are all friendly and make you feel very welcome. The facility is beautiful and well maintained.

We aren't terribly pleased. There are too many instances of things not getting done. I feel like they aren't attentive enough. The place is pretty clean. The food is fine. There is one fabulous employee, but I don't feel like they are all up to her standard.
