Milestone Retirement Communities

We looked at quite a few assisted living homes and finally selected Caley Ridge for our older sister. Caley Ridge has not disappointed us with the level of care given to our sister. It has taken our sister a few weeks to adjust to living in an assisted living home. Everyone we have contact with has been helpful to our sister and is responsive in answering our questions about our sister's care. They all seem to have a smile on their face when I call with questions and concerns. Our sister seems to be happy with the doctor that is assigned to her care.\r\nWe are hoping that our sister participates in Caley Ridge's activities. We understand that she is meeting and talking to other residents which is a good thing.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful!! They're extremely friendly and helpful. We haven't had any problems really to speak of until recently. The quality of the food served to the residents seems undercooked or simply inedible. Other than that, it's been a really good home.

The staff is amazing! Every time I go visit my Mom, I notice they are paying attention to the residents and being patient with them. I couldn't be happier with the care she, and the other residents are receiving. They have nice activities, a small, but nice facility, and they all seem to know the residents name. I appreciate them so much!

I think overall we were pleased. I think there were some communication issues, between different shifts. It took quite a while to get a bathing schedule set up, it was not developed or carried out, right at the beginning. There were some difficulty with her diet issues communicated to everybody. They offered a lot of things for entertainment and activities. Some of the staff were less energetic than others, but we never had any real problems with the staff. I felt like they were lacking in the dietary area with those on a special diet. I was really happy with the medicine delivery system, and the people that took care of the majority of her daily care, were excellent, very energetic and pleasant. I have recommended them to a friend so I do think they did a good job.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a nice looking place overall, and we liked that it had both independent and a memory care section. The facility itself was beautiful, and very clean. However, they do not accept pets, which was a dealbreaker for us.

It's clean and the staff is friendly. The food seems to be good. They seem to be pretty attentive. One thing I don't really like, is that on Saturday and Sunday they don't have housekeepers, or anyone taking care of the rooms. I really liked the overall feeling. I really think they are doing a pretty good job.

Mom has been accepted by Hospice where she us living in Edmonds, WA. due to weight loss. She is refusing to eat and is much more sedentary. Not knowing what the future holds, we will see how she progresses and if she fill be strong enough to tolerate a move.

I like that it's close to my home, and I can keep an eye on my mother in law. I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to three copies, we toured the properties and interviewed the personnel. I like that they did a spend down to medicare. The other properties did not. Plus that everyone was very open, and very friendly, and the place is immaculate. The only problem we've had, is that there was a problem with paperwork with contacting her doctor when we first moved in. It was taken care of but took a couple of times.

She has been there for a couple of weeks, can't properly rate care and activities. The price was within what we could afford budgetwise. The most important consideration was affordability. The building is really well kept; everything is kept up very nicely. My mother seems to be settling and contented. She thinks she is in her apartment. The location is not too far from my house and the homes of my siblings; within eight miles. It's in a nicer area.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I liked the look of this place! It was a smaller community, and felt very nice and homey. I also appreciated that the sales staff were friendly and not pushy.

The Meadows is a very nice senior living facility with an excellent staff. My mom, my brother's and I have been treated very well by the staff. They realize that moving a parent into assisted living can be difficult on a family so they have been understanding and respectful toward us.

The Mansion is a very nice facility, with nice admin and caregivers. Plenty of activities, nice outdoor area, plenty of nice indoor areas as well. My only concern is the medicine ordering. Occasionally, some of the residents run out of their individual meds. Perhaps more attention should be paid to timely ordering of the prescriptions. Some of the residents complain about the food, but elderly people are usually very picky and set in what they want to eat. It'd be difficult to please all the residents all the time! For the most part, I'd give them an A, just concerned about the attention paid to the med ordering.

Moved my dad in six weeks ago. It's a good fit, there are daily activities which he needs to keep him engaged. The care is good, the facility is new and clean and bright, the food is very good, all around nice place for him to be.

In general I'm very pleased with how things are going here. They keep the place very clean and well kept, for the most part, and the staff are all exceptionally friendly. They've also got a good variety of games and activities to keep everyone entertained, and they do various outings to stores, as well as sightseeing trips.

Shared room $1300, rooms furnished includes meals, activities, utilities, linens/laundry once a week. Beauty salon $12. Current 199 @ 75% occupancy. Nice courtyard. Common areas clean. Back hallway a little dirty. Nice dining area and common areas.

The rooms were so small my mother said "if you put me here I'll feel like I'm in a coffin!" Their new memory unit has a very nice, large interior courtyard, but the rooms from the closet wall to the window, there was a nightstand, a twin bed and a lamp and a chair and that's it, that's as wide as the room was, she didn't like that at all. I could see where some memory care people care because they don't know but my mom is still really alert.

A very nice room with a view and close to dining area and living area. Decided it was just a bit too large and maybe overwhelming for her, but it was a close second for me.

A very nice place, however it is very large and the cost is far above what my brother can afford. 4 star

It's all very well maintained. It's a lovely place. At the time, my mother was going for respite care but we liked it so well we just decided to stay. My mother loves it. She loves the bingo. She's hard to please but she likes the food maybe 60/40. I don't think it's the food, I think it's her because everytime I've eated there it's been great. I had a small problem with the care. When they took her medication chart from the previous place they didn't get it entered into the computer correctly. I have to check on that.

Based on brief summary, sounds like a facility where mom and dad can live together with assistance staff 24 hours, meals, laundry services & facilities to do your own laundry, help with personal care - a bit further from office than Heather Gardens
