Good food and a Clean community. My wife was there 4 days and fell and fractured her neck, it's deeply concerned,13 days in hospital, 20 days in rehab and she has been back at cascade for 2 weeks and things are going much better. My wife chose cascade on her own after looking at 5 places. And they are soon put in a fall monitoring system since my wife's fall

Staff is 100% friendly. Hallway carpets are very stained! Note: I was only there for 3 weeks respite care.

Sand Sage of The Highlands is a bright and clean facility. I do think that the Activities could include group discussions about experiences growing up, favorite movies or books. I would recommend them to others looking for care for a loved one.

I recommend Arbor Rose to others. I picked this community because it was a Cottage with only 8 residents and one caregiver seemed more friendly.

All of the staff has been kind, helpful and friendly. They need to improve the quality, consistency and variety of food. They need to stock snacks in the break room like they said they would do. They need to keep up with maintenance, refurbishment and cleaning. The grounds as well as the building are showing their age and additional attention is warranted.

Their nurse practitioner is the best. If it weren't for her then we wouldn't have known that my mom needed to see an oncologist, which ultimately led to a leukemia diagnosis. The facility was clean, they rent month to month which was a big relief because we didn't need the facility any longer once their nurse got my mom's meds straightened out after a really awful experience in skilled nursing. The food is unfortunate, but the staff is friendly and the facility is quite nice.

They were sometimes careless about keeping track of dad's hearing aids and glasses, but other than that, for memory care it was acceptable. We picked this community, because it was the closet, and with immediate availability.

The staff taking care of mom and dad were excellent. Very patient. I knew mom and dad were in good hands. I trusted the staff. I think the food could have been a bit more nutritious. And a little higher quality. I think we were given a fair price for having mom and dad there at the same time. The nurses caring for mom and dad were excellent, very attentive to their care until they both passed away.

Mom lived her last 1 ½ years at Lighthouse Memory Care. There are MANY very positive aspects at Lighthouse. The facility is always clean, the care was very good and the meals delicious. The facility layout is circular and allows the residents to walk around freely and not get lost down a dead-end hallway. If Lighthouse falls short it is with adding charges without notice and lack of detailed information to support or explain various charges. A 30 day notice of a change in fees is required and seldom given. My biggest regret, when the time came to medicate my Mom for “anxiety” I didn’t insist on starting with LOW doses and increasing slowly. The standard seems to be to start with high doses and then “dial it back”. I lost precious time with Mom because she was too out of it. I wish I would have not allowed so many drugs. Bottom-line, no place is perfect. My Mom was never aware of challenges I had with management, medication & billing. The care she received was very good.

We went with The Meadows Senior Living because the size of the facility was smaller and the location of the apartment available, ( first floor vs 2nd floor), and costs. The staff have been responsive when I have questions or concerns. During the COVID pandemic, they had great safety protocols in place.

My loved one is a resident at Cascade Valley. The choices for meals are good. The housekeeping is excellent. Most people are very friendly. The lady at the front desk isn't always friendly and sometimes rude. Other than that, we've had excellent assistance. [name removed], the associate that met with us first, is over the top helpful and friendly!!!

They are understaffed. I would maybe recommend to other families.

Most of the staff members are friendly, however just not always responsive. Some of the activities seem childish and the vehicle used to take the residents on outings seems to be out of order. Based on the experience we have had so far with McLoughlin Place, we would recommend the community to other families.

We toured with McLoughlin Place and the person who gave the tour did a great job. I did not think the facility was as nice as another we looked at. It was less expensive though. I actually know someone who lives here and she says it is great and she loves it. It was just not the right fit for us.

When I first contacted A Place for Mom I received a different room cost than what it actually starts at. The regional director was great, but after my mom was moved in, the costs I was told for her care changed by $XXX [amount removed] a month. Increased Hard to reach the facility after 5pm and the mailbox was always full. Not sure if that has been fixed.

There has been a recent fairly high turnover in staff, but all newcomers are very friendly and caring. Would absolutely recommend them, depending on budget and level of care needed.

The staff members really are warm and we appreciate how much they engage with the residents. The staff that work closely with our loved one are great and they have really developed a strong comradery with the residents. At times it does seem like the administration hides behind closed doors and we do think they could improve on their communication and have a little better follow through .

Based on our experience so far we would recommend Bishop Place to other families but they could improve on the meals - our friend gets them delivered and usually it comes cold and not always on time;

The food is average. The cookies are amazing. The noon meal/dinner is the best. My parents love the staff, and they are very caring/nice, which is a plus. My parents are enjoying the activites. The value for the money is standard, although it's expensive. We picked this community because, it's close to familiy, and to stay within a community that was familiar to them. I would recommend to other families.

A nice facility, staff generally friendly and receptive to questions. Our Dad didn't partake in any of the activities, but at least for the assisted living section it looked like reasonable options.
