Milestone Retirement Communities

My loved one is a resident at Cascade Valley. The choices for meals are good. The housekeeping is excellent. Most people are very friendly. The lady at the front desk isn't always friendly and sometimes rude. Other than that, we've had excellent assistance. [name removed], the associate that met with us first, is over the top helpful and friendly!!!

They are understaffed. I would maybe recommend to other families.

Most of the staff members are friendly, however just not always responsive. Some of the activities seem childish and the vehicle used to take the residents on outings seems to be out of order. Based on the experience we have had so far with McLoughlin Place, we would recommend the community to other families.

We toured with McLoughlin Place and the person who gave the tour did a great job. I did not think the facility was as nice as another we looked at. It was less expensive though. I actually know someone who lives here and she says it is great and she loves it. It was just not the right fit for us.

When I first contacted A Place for Mom I received a different room cost than what it actually starts at. The regional director was great, but after my mom was moved in, the costs I was told for her care changed by $XXX [amount removed] a month. Increased Hard to reach the facility after 5pm and the mailbox was always full. Not sure if that has been fixed.

There has been a recent fairly high turnover in staff, but all newcomers are very friendly and caring. Would absolutely recommend them, depending on budget and level of care needed.

The staff members really are warm and we appreciate how much they engage with the residents. The staff that work closely with our loved one are great and they have really developed a strong comradery with the residents. At times it does seem like the administration hides behind closed doors and we do think they could improve on their communication and have a little better follow through .

Based on our experience so far we would recommend Bishop Place to other families but they could improve on the meals - our friend gets them delivered and usually it comes cold and not always on time;

The food is average. The cookies are amazing. The noon meal/dinner is the best. My parents love the staff, and they are very caring/nice, which is a plus. My parents are enjoying the activites. The value for the money is standard, although it's expensive. We picked this community because, it's close to familiy, and to stay within a community that was familiar to them. I would recommend to other families.

A nice facility, staff generally friendly and receptive to questions. Our Dad didn't partake in any of the activities, but at least for the assisted living section it looked like reasonable options.

They provide pretty good service, but they're not perfect. And they don't always respond well when I come to them with concerns.

I moved in about 2 1/2 years ago. The staff have been very attentive to my needs. Several time I've needed medication and the transportation teams have been very good.

This community was really nice it just did not have the availability when I needed to secure a spot for my loved one.

We chose Flagstone because they had skilled nursing and that is what we needed and they had availability quickly. We are working with memory care, the director of nursing is very aware of everything happening with the residents and in tune with what is going on. I would recommend to others looking.

It's all been a positive experience for us so far. I see such a difference in my mom. The food I've tried has been really good. There are times she's not happy with it, but overall she likes it. The other residents are good for the most part. And our interactions with the staff have been excellent.

We went with Cascade Valley because it is a smaller facility, the staff were friendly, and it is close to where I live. The room sizes at the facility are fine. I would suggest that they improve their wifi network, when I have brought this up they said it is in process.

There were a few issues with keeping up with daily things like laundry, and showers. Their communication between staff members was not that good and there were not on the same page. Overall they tried to do their best but I would only recommend this community is staffing improved.

The cleanliness of the community is good, it is just an older facility. Our loved one says the food there is very good. One reason we chose this community was because they had a flat rate, instead of counting the amount of care hours and adding to the rate. We liked the value structure they have.

Only negative that rugs in the hallways were dirty; needed cleaning.

We had a virtual tour with this community. The tour was good and the staff was very nice and informative. we liked the community but we felt it was too small and that didnt fit our needs.
