What we like the most about Homestead of Owasso is probably the staff and we would recommend them to other families who may need their services. Nice community with friendly, caring staff is perfect. It's also on par cost wise for Oklahoma @ [fee removed]

Overall experience -5 The nursing team, the transportation lady, and temporary administrator [name removed] pulled up the overall rating from 3 to 5. Cleanliness rating - 5. The nursing staff was exemplary. Even though she lived in Independent Living the nursing team was there when she needed them. The transportation lady, cleaning teams, and dining staff were amazing. The office staff communicated very well with me, and I appreciated that. After mom's illness progressed she was in the front office constantly, and she said the staff weren't kind and they were disrespectful to her. The administrator that replaced [name removed] is rated a 2. He didn't keep his word or return phone calls. Rating of 4-5 for dining staff, 3 for the food. She had to be encouraged to eat it because it was included, but she all other foods very well. The rent increased several times over the months mom lived there. Mom talked about how many residents had left and high number of empty apartments. Even before she initially moved in the prices on the lease contract were higher than what was quoted during the tour, and the prices listed on their brochures. The administrator [name removed] refused to honor anything. He said we were given the wrong quotes and brochures.

I took a tour of several talked to staff and residents before I chose them. I would recommend it

We really like the condition of the buildings, the outside landscaping, the staff! All Good and we would recommend this community to other families!!

Would not hesitate to recommend this facility. My father thrived there, and the staff even brought him out of his shell with their interactions. I live 1500 miles from my father living at Homestead. The staff was always responsive to my calls with helpful information, and willing to go that extra mile. Made me feel better about being so far away.

What we like the most about Homestead of Creston is that the staff consistently attempt to interact with mom even though she doesn't often acknowledge

When it comes to the activities I do wish would have more but mom not always remembers. It is pricey but so far worth it. The place is lovely and inviting. My mom is thriving there. Bonus they allow pets and pet visits! Would like to have more in the website (with maybe a logon) activity calendar, rules and regulations, floor plans, meal menus etc.

The staff is so nice, but their wait staff is slow, however it is restaurant styled so it is to be expected. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Over all very pleased. Staff is great. I have and will continue to recommend. Almost [Cost Removed] increase in January. Others have said they do increase every year.

Morrison Manor was the best fit for [name removed] as there were only 12 residents at this Memory Care Facility. He had his own large room which accommodated his family when we all visited. The facility was very clean & I feel that his care was outstanding. The food was nutritious and delicious. He, because of the brain tumor not transmitting the signal to his stomach that it was full, ate everything that he was served. He even liked his plate clean. At the time of his death, he was 15 to 20 pounds heavier. He NEVER stopped eating. On the day that ge passed, I fed him a full breakfast and lunch. There were no activities as 11 of the residents, including [name removed], suffered with Dementia. [name removed] long-term health care insurance covered approximately $7000.00 monthly and the facility charged $8500.00 monthly so we paid approximately $1500.00 out of pocket. The staff and Dignity Hospice provided superb quality for our loved one. It was an Outstanding facility!!!

My loved one really enjoyed his experience at Homestead of Creston. He especially loved the staff and being teased by them. It was a great experience.

We moved her to Homestead during that time when we saw what she needed. We were very pleased with Homestead also because it was nearer my residence. I was able to see her everyday. Homestead was a smaller place and had a courtyard for her little dog to play in. It was only one level.

If we could give everything a 5+ we would! I couldn't do this without the staff of Homestead being there. They call me ANYTIME there is anything I need to know. I go down once a week, either Wednesday or Sunday. I've never been surprised by anything wrong. Those people go above and beyond all the time. I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff. The people were friendly & helpful. They were in the midst of a remodel but they made sure no quality was lacking in Laura's care. Holly, the nurse, actually saved Laura's life after she got there. The previous place almost killed her. This place is AWESOME. Thank you so much for recommendations to Homestead.

Some problems getting transportation to Dr. Appointments, staff turnover and shortages? Mom is a bit of difficult personality , Dad always said she was meaner than a bucket of a-holes. Complains the food amount and quality has dropped and high turnover of support staff. In her opinion staff is slow about responding to the "help me I can't get off the floor" button. She is finding friends at Avenue 81 which is great, at the same time she isn't utilizing activities due to her mobility issues. I'm happy; from my perspective the food looks great. if she was able to get around and do more for herself her mood would improve. A Great Place for Mom. I would recommend Avenue 81, I wouldn't mind living there myself the staff seems very friendly. We enjoyed having a family cookout in the courtyard for Mother's Day.

We absolutely loved Homestead in Wellington. They were very kind and supportive and took good care of our mother. She did pass away last year. We appreciate your help in finding a place for her

Excellent management. I'd be happy living there if I needed to. Also very personable and conscientious staff. My dad passed away while I was there, and it was obvious the staff had dealt with that before. They delivered a spread of food and drinks as immediate family assembled there. Mom is still there.

I would highly recommend Homestead. I would be happy to live there if I ever become unable to care for myself. The kitchen around mealtime smelled wonderful. Lots of areas to gather and socialize. Wide hallways with sitting areas spaced out so you can rest if you have a long trek to the mess hall. Pleasant staff. Clean.

The office staff was very good with paper work at admission and accommodating with our move-in. The nurses have all been great and responsive to my loved one's needs. The cna's are caring with the residents. I have not eaten there, but the meals look very good. I have only been there during activities once. It was OK, but more variety could increase participation. I would recommend the facility to others.

It's a bit of a challenge because I don't have anything to compare to but, overall, I think our experience at Homestead of Mason City has been very favorable and we are very satisfied with the overall care and experience at Homestead! Thanks!!

Everything has been top notch! The meals are good. The facility is very clean, someone is always cleaning. The staff calls mom by name and are so caring. Moving in was wonderful and a simple process. We are so happy she is with Homestead!
