Mom has only been there a week. At this point, we could not be happier. The people are so very nice & kind to Mom.

Overall our experience with Homestead of Lenexa has been a good one! It's a nice looking facility, they keep everything looking clean and well kept, and the staff have all been very friendly. From what I've seen they do a great job getting to know each of the residents, learning their likes and dislikes, so that they can make everyone feel comfortable and at home.

The main thing that differentiates them they are really committed to providing an excellent experience. They have a solid head of nursing. The food is really good. They do sitter-size, bingo, and that kind of thing. There has always been enough parking when I’ve visited.

Just walk into Timberwood and look around, its gorgeous, it doesn't smell, things are just going wonderful. It's a good place.

Homestead of Owasso gives you a friendly and warm feeling when you are there.

The food quality was pretty much good. They'd have periods of it being pretty yucky and then everybody would complain and then it would get better. I think we had like four or five cooks, maybe two or three during the time that I was there but they always tried to listen to the residence and make improvements based on complaints Activities. I really didn't participate much. The staff was outstanding. Everyone was so sweet and so nice and so willing to help you do anything so I have nothing but praises for them.

The staff at Homestead truely cares about their residents. They hold resident councel meetings to make sure their vision of retirement living aligns with the resident's. They also host holiday meals open to the residents families to promote a welcoming environment.

We think it's great vary attentive to her and her needs. When I have a question they are very helpful. How often do they check on them, what changes in medicine have they made, do you get them to all meals.

The director is very kind & helpful. The activity director is also very kind & tries to engage the residents. Staff were always helpful & kind.

Have had 3 activities directors over last year. Mom never remembers. Calendar needs to be posted on website. I never know what mom does. It's expensive and had another rate increase this year. As far as comments...the place itself is just wonderful and has a cozy feel. A gem in our little town. Large dining/sitting area just inside the entrance with large windows facing the cute well kept courtyard. Mom in the smallest room but I would live there large bathroom with walk in shower plenty of room for bed living room and a small dining table.

I did recommend to others letting them know that for caring personal spiritual help, you will need to visit often. Chose it because of its location, availability, and hadn't heard negative comments. My overall impression was that they run it as a business and provide the services they advertise.

Overall I was glad there was a place for [name removed] to spend her last year. Homestead of Lenexa was quite clean and the staff were quite friendly. There was one nurse who I noted a retaliatory behavior from; she put a type of underwear on [name removed] that kept all her feces in and it was full all over her abdomen when I came to visit. I changed her. I was told not to. This nurse was new and I suspect that she wouldn't have gotten by very long with the regular staff who cared about the roomers. The food was quite good. I believe my biggest complaint is that they made no effort to bring in musical events that were time period for the age group but expected them to be happy with 80s music. Ridiculous. It was quite expensive. I was present in two places with [name removed] and two with her daughter [name removed]. If all those places, Homestead of Lenexa was by far the best

[name removed] moved out after a few months and passed in [date removed]. The activities were wonderful. The staff members were were great too. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had. Thank you.

The staff is always pleasant and they will do their best to be helpful. The food is my mom's big complaint. I'm sure it is difficult to serve hot food to so many people Yes, I would recommend Homestead of Lenexa for someone who is able to navigate and understand on their own it's a good place.

While there are some activities, it would be nice if there were more activities including music, singing and exercise. Homestead Estates of Wichita is a very nice facility and welcoming. We definitely recommend that others consider Homestead Estates for their assisted living and memory care needs.

My wife and I believe [name removed] was well taken care of. The staff was courteous and professional and easy to work with.I would recommend this assisted-living facility and would place my loved one there again.

The staff seemed to care about the residents. The food always smelled delicious and the food I ate had good flavor. I rated it a 4 as sometimes I felt the residents needed a little extra assistance in cutting the meat.

[name removed] the director is excellent and food service is very good now. Activities are minimal and often don't happen even when scheduled. Maintenance is great. When anything needs fixing, [name removed[ takes care of it right away and is always so friendly and pleasant!

It's expensive but they take okay care of your loved one. It's close by.
