Merrill Gardens

Merrill Gardens has exceeded our expectations. The facility is lovely and well maintained. The caregivers are respectful, kind and professional. The varied menu and freshly prepared foods are healthy, tasty, and well proportioned. After one month, my 94 year old Mother has adjusted very well and is extremely content there. They have followed through on everything that they have said they would do.

The Gardens Assisted Living has simply put, made a huge difference in my Parents [names removed] life and in our families life. I live in Savannah and knowing they are taking care of is huge to me. My dad was supported and encouraged to get his VA Benefit which has helped hugly. From Jodi, the GM, to Shrika the head Nurse to all the staff, they are the best, it did not start that way. What changed, new Ownership and Jodi's Leadership! I can't say enough about it. She is the best!!!

The Gardens took wonderful care of my grandparents. The service was great and had a very friendly staff! They definitely felt like they were at their home away from home!

All of the staff members at the Sunshine Villa facility are taking really good care of my loved ones. It was a little daunting in the beginning, but everything went smoothly moving in and it is going well now.

They just have been very responsive to us any time that we have needed anything. It has been a pretty amazing experience with The Bedford. My loved one has really enjoyed her stay there at the facility so far.

This is a great place for my mother to live in! She's finally adjusting to living here!

She loves it at Merrill Gardens at Huntington Beach. Surprising to me she adjusted very well. She was socializing. She has made friends and participated. I have some friends there unbeknownst to me which has made it nice. The food is good. The personnel is very friendly.

June 2015 found us looking for an assisted living residence for our folks (age 92 and 94). We found it at Willow Park Senior Living. Yes, it was a hard move for our parents but the transition to new accommodations and new people couldn't have gone better. Willow Park is a dynamic and energetic place - full of amazing people and I am not just referring to the staff. The residents are fun, welcoming and very interested in meeting new people. Now, 5 months later, our parents have adapted to their new apartment, their new friends and their new life. My mother has blossomed and looks better every day and my father is beginning to more fully realize the number of activities, field trips, lectures, music, etc. that are available to him at Willow Park.

Willow Park was absolutely awesome and they were like a second family to me. The staff was friendly, caring and professional and the facility was wonderful. Everyone there just seemed to be decent and caring.

I think the staff is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue with the activities is more of my parents issues not the staff.

Mom absolutely loves this place, and we love having her closet to us. The food is great, and you can eat anytime during the day and order from a menu. The staff are really great; always up beat and very accommodating. This is basically the only place we checked out, saw it and knew it was right.

We are thrilled with the service and environment at The Bedford. Very well-cared-for, lovely management and staff who are both friendly and respectful. Younger members of our family were very impressed and wanted to move in themselves!

Everything is going fine

I know at The Legacy at Georgetown that my sister is being taken care of. The cost of all of these kinds of places is too pricey. I am pleased with the staff. They are very friendly and caring. I am really pleased overall with this facility. It has been a good experience.

The experience has been great. They are very friendly and wanted to make everyone very comfortable. I just really can't find any fault with them. We went to other places that may have been more upscale, but this is really just a wonderful place and is good for transitioning into.

I am very pleased with Legacy at Bear Creek. It is a very welcoming environment to everyone. The staff there really have the residents as a top priority. They really get the them involved. It has been a great experience. I have no complaints.

The folks at the Pines went out of their way to make sure mom had no issues settling in. She is doing well in a smaller facility where everyone knows her. The staff is very caring with her. For us, we felt like they understood and got what she needed.

I really do not have anything to say at this time about the Sheldon Park. I trust that my ratings for each of the categories will suffice as a good enough review. My Overall rating of the property was five-stars

I have been remiss in writing a good review for The Residence at Glen Riddle. My family member has been there for several years and I have to say the staff is always willing to accommodate any requests we make. The level of care and the responsiveness of the management team make us feel like part of one big family. Until you have to find a facility for a family member, you really don't think about the little things that become so important....staff hugging and kissing your loved one; meals brought at no charge to their apartments when they are sick; administration helping suggest ways to help conserve resources; the wellness staff being willing to talk to you at any time and the welcoming feeling when you walk in the door are just things you can't put a price on. The Residence at Glen Riddle has done that for me and other families I speak with time and time again. I looked at many places for my family member and am grateful every day that I found the kind people at The Residence at Glen Riddle!

Looks like a very nice place and does have a few "cottages", which would satisfy my dad's desire for something other than an apartment in a building. Not sure, though, if he wants to be living "in town" and that far away from the Greenbelt.
