Everyone is wonderful. I really like the activities when I go to them. I don't always like everything on the menu but I like I can choose other things on ala cart for the things I do.

Everything is good at The Country House in Westchester community

Overall the Pinnacle is a good place. My mom is happy and safe. At times, personal care services (assistance with showering, trash pick up, and laundry) have been a bit inconsistent. I recently met with the director and assistant director about my concerns. They have put a new plan in place to make sure that the services are provided on a regular basis. We will have a follow up meeting in a month. My mother loves the food, but the service in the personal care dining room leaves a lot to be desired. Tables are not served at the same time and some residents wait 45-60 minutes for their meals. I have shared my concerns and the staff has recently put a plan in place to address these needs. We are still glad we chose the Pinnacle. No place is perfect, but the staff seem willing to address our concerns.

Overall the experience has been positive. My mother is happy there. The care is good and they seem to have a few different things as far as activities go as well which she loves that. The cost is reasonable. The staff is always very nice. I would definitely recommend the place.

Right after we moved in we immediately made friends with the other people on our floor. They have been very helpful. Maintenance is prompt. All the ladies in the staff have been available when needed. We enjoy eating in the dining hall and the food is quite good. The building with the dining hall is separate from our building which means we have a considerable walk to dinner. But in reality at this point usually doesn’t take much more than five minutes.The grounds are beautiful with flowers all over the place. There is gardening space available but currently not well used. Transportation to doctor appointments is available but not reliable.

The staff is supportive and pleasant. The residents have a lot of options for activities. The location is great for access to many things nearby. The senior director has changed twice in the last year, and there have been gaps in leadership, communication, and followup.

My mom is very happy there. She loves the food and likes being able to choose which, if any, activities she wishes to join. I would recommend Holly Brook to others. My only suggestion would be that they add an electronic means of communicating with the facility for family/caregivers. Also my mom likes how helpful and attentive the staff are.

Been here 2 months and so far pretty happy. Very outgoing and friendly staff. They are great at making you feel like you are number 1! Everyone seems to know your name as soon as you arrive. Apartments are beautiful as well as well maintained. Other residents are also amazingly friendly and welcoming. Many activites for those who like to socialize. I highly recommend.

My only disappointment is that when we first looked at the facility I was excited that it was an independent retirement center. It has quickly turned into a nursing home. They have had a large price increase each year which I was not expecting. I asked those specific questions in the beginning because my mom was on a very tight budget. With them not accepting Medicare my mom will be staying a shorter time than what we expected.

My dad has actually had to move out :( he loved where he lived and the staff was like family to him! Based on the experience we have had with Villas of Holly Brook, we would recommend this community to other families.

I have two loved ones in the memory care unit. [name removed] is phenomenal and an asset to your facility. So understanding and caring. She made the process for both of my loved ones so easy. [name removed] is also a fantastic asset. [name removed] , the nurse, always answers my texts right away. The aides are very caring and helpful. They are so patient with residents. During meal events and other activities, the staff is just like family. They all 'roll up their sleeves' and pitch in. I commented to [name removed] one time, "You act like family!" And she said, we are. [name removed] , the hairstylist/beautician does great job and does appointments promptly. I appreciate staff doing laundry, folding, and putting away. My only concern/dissatisfaction is housekeeping. Rooms are not as clean and tidy as should be. Stuff on carpet for weeks, dusty furniture, stained loveseat, frig not cleaned out, hair on card table from hairbrush. I tidied up mom's room one time and threw away moldy banana. Wish was cleaner.

the staff at Meridian at Waterways allowed our loved one to adjust and were kind. Our loved one has gotten seriously injured and not there currently. We would recommend this community to other families who's loved ones are not very active, there was not much going on there which was good for our loved one.

Great place building was clean and smelled good. Staff was friendly. Rooms looked great and were clean.

My mom came in right after the transition to the new managing company. I am guessing this upset the operations greatly as people were leaving or asked to leave and they had been working a certain way with staff. I am seeing change in a positive direction since the new management. I have rated cleanliness low because of the carpets which have spots or has recently not been cleaned but was told they are going to be replaced. I have never smelled soiled undergarments and most staff are friendly and polite.

Overall, the nurses and support staff were kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I didn't find the front main front desk person especially friendly, but they were helpful if you needed something. I had an issue with the administrator and the assistant administrator when my mother-in-law had been hospitalized and been in rehab for a UTI. When they came to evaluate her, they wouldn't let her return to the Atrium, although according to the evaluation paperwork, she should have been able to return, although she was weaker than she had been, and would need more care. When she left she was a level 2, and I will agree that she was probably at a level 4 at that point, but I thought she deserved the chance to get more therapy to gain more strength. She had started out there as a level 4 and had done well until she was at level 2, before her last hospitalization. When I called to question it, they told me she could come back if I got her on hospice so they would have some help. I think they didn't think I would be able to do that since she didn't have a terminal diagnosis at the time, but I did get her set up for comfort care, and they still refused to take her back, after a year living there and being told she could age in place and stay there, she had to move to a new facility. At that time I learned that she couldn't get therapy while on hospice, so we discontinued hospice so that she could get therapy, which she did benefit from for a short time. She was later diagnosed with ovarian cancer, but was able to stay at the new facility and continue therapy until her death. Honestly, I think Atrium wants a younger, more vibrant clientele, and that was the main reason for the decision.

I am currently a resident at The Peninsula Assisted Living and Memory Care and overall everything has been good for me here, so far. It has been a good experience. I am very satisfied with my first year. I do and have recommend The Peninsula Assisted Living and Memory Care to others.

My mom moved into the Villas in August 2023. I was very impressed with the level of compassion [name removed] expressed toward my.mom who was not thrilled with the idea of giving up her home. Since resist g at the Villas mom's health and mental state have approved greatly. She interacts with the other residents which has helped her depression when she lived alone. Her only complaint is the food which I take as a big win if this is all she has to complain about. She loves the staff and other residents. I feel so relieved knowing she is safe and enjoying her time there.

The reason we gave Worthington Manor a 4 overall was while our loved one was there they did not have enough staff which was a downside. They had a large turnover. However, the people are very friendly and caring and we would absolutely recommend Worthington Manor to other families, it is a beautiful facility.

I am currently a resident at MerryWood on Park and most everything has been very good for me here, so far. The food is great! The cleanliness and friendliness are good. The staff is also good. The value for cost is great, also. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend MerryWood on Park to others.

I love living here, staff is friendly, living conditions are great, I moved here to stay here. I live In independent cottage where I am able to still live my life, come and go, drive my car, but I still get a daily call to make sure all is good.
