Meridian Senior Living

He is going to be leaving in 2 months but not because of them. It's expensive compared to owning a home and he's going better so he'll be moving in to his own place again. It is a great community of people. Being active and around others is life transforming. He's in the smallest apartment and I think it's perfect for one person. The 2 bedrooms are huge if you want more space. Also- the location has a lot of woods and wildlife which is nice. He sees dear in the woods outside from his patio.

The staff at The Meridian have been very kind, and my stepmom has said , "I can't say a bad thing about the place." . Everyone always greets you with a smile and goes out of their way to help in whatever way they can. It also doesn't feel like an "assisted living facility." It is a beautiful facility. The studio apt my stepmom is is in is good-sized and very comfortable. The activity schedule and transport to stores and restaurants provides ample opportunity for people to get out and get what they need. We are happy with her placement there.

Our mother was a resident at The Villas for over 4 months. She was treated like family called the workers (CNA's / Aids)" her girls" [names removed] the rest of the staff were so caring the entire stay and especially during the time of her passing.

Although they were struggling with some personnel issues for a while they vastly improved their staff over time. When my mother had a stroke they handled the hospice care wonderfully, which can really be a great bonus when it comes to this level of care.

My experience at the Glenword has been very positive. The staff has proven to be extremely helpful and very prompt when I have called for help. The hard-working, 5-star administration, aides, cooks & ancillary staff are very caring, compassionate, & accommodating. Glenwood has a friendly environment and good food! I would seriously have to give them all a 5. Mom absolutely loves it there. Tells me all the time "if I had known it was gonna be this fun, I would have moved here years ago". The care partners are amazing, thoughtful, caring and always "on it". They all seem to truly Carmen's love what they do. The chef (food) is tremendous. This guy can cook. And the servers in the restaurant know everyone, call everyone by name and seem to know what a person wants before they ask. The activities director keeps everyone involved and there is always something to do

I would recommend gentry. Employees care about the residents and Have a good sense of community.

I am "over the top" satisfied. With everything at Atrium. I truly have to rate them with a 5 for all aspects of care.

My husband had stayed at The Landings several times for respite care before we moved him in permanently two weeks ago. Everyone is so caring, encouraging, and friendly. I highly recommend this facility. My husband is blossoming here. Thank you.

The residents and staff are generally very friendly. The food is good. The housekeeping staff is poorly trained and managed. The dining room staff are good and very helpful to residents. The chef won 2nd place for his entrée in the "Chef Wars" against 5 other facilities. The smaller size means you get to know almost everyone. They have an "ambassador " program in which every new resident is assigned an ambassador, or mentor, to help them navigate during their first few days here, with weekly follow-ups for several weeks.

Our dad is genuinely card for & honored. Every day my mom visits, she is treated like family. The staff seem to work well together and made the residents priority.

We had to place my mother-in-law in asst living, with the help of A Place For Mom, we found The Meridian. We toured several places, before easily deciding on The Meridian. It is spotless, there are nurses, and assistants on duty always. Food choices are many, and the food is delicious. Everyone single person that works there are always clean cut, friendly, and always welcoming. They all know the residents by name. The administration staff is very informative, and made everything go so smoothly to get my mother-in-law into the facility in a quick manner. The administration also knows each resident by name and interact with them regularly, they don’t just get you in and leave the rest to the staff. They stay involved. I cannot say enough about the facility. I would move in myself if needed.

People were very nice. Food and living conditions were very good. The activities were horrible.

My father has been a resident since July 2023. He is treated with respect, cared for and is able to have a close Boit group of friends. Staff assists with medication, cleaning, laundry, meals and frequent checks on him in his apartment. He is able to have his cat. He has a "family" here.

Our family is very happy to have grandpa at The Villas at St. James. He didn’t want to leave his home but [name removed] made him feel comfortable. He sits with “the guys” and enjoys meal times. They take the bus for rides which he loves since he can no longer drive. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a great place.

Wonderful staff, great food, lots of activities and great residents. We love Merrywood and would recommend it to others.

Called and wanted information for a friend. He is just starting the process and we know nothing about assistedliving. [name removed] was an amazing listener and answered all the questions we had, very knowledgeable. We felt like she truly cared. We felt so much better about everything after talking with her and is taking all the information back to the family and friend. She also offered to visit to explain and answer questions from other family members and my friend that us searching and invited us to the facility for lunch and a tour of the building.

It's a very clean, nice place. And compared to other places, the price is good. I have recommended to others.
