The Glenwood has a community dog named Sam who is a very good boy and who makes staying here fun. The size of the facility is large and I feel like everyone has enough space. The people are very friendly and I like living here.

I really enjoy the majority of the people I live with. We have become close friends. I also like the idea that you aren’t confined to your apartment and you can come and go as you please. The staff are very kind and friendly.

I love that our building is all one floor. All residents can get around very easily. The employees are all very kind and caring to the residents and our families. I am very happy to be living here at The Glenwood.

I am a diabetic, and the staff really takes great care to make sure that I eat good food that I can tolerate. I enjoy bingo and caring for and laughing with the friends I have made over the years at the Glenwood.

The staff is outstanding in all areas! CNAs and RN are very caring and attentive. Admin has a Great handle on all functions. My mom started as respite--moved to full time --and now is moving to memory care. They are so very concerned with her well being. Apartment size is just nice. My mom likes the food and they have other options always available.

I really like the activities that we do. Everyone gets every excited when we get to play bingo or we do things together as a community. The Glenwood is a nice place to live and I would recommend it to a friend.

Very friendly atmosphere. All staff knew each other and were respectful and grateful to be there. The chief recruitment person greeted housekeeping and maintenance by name. It felt like a very intimate place. I like the dedicated PT and the gym is very well equipped the rooms I saw were spacious. Staff seemed committed to the happiness and welfare of residents The building had a planned upgrade. The building is ideally located in a vibrant and safe part of the city with nice outdoor spaces. The library and meeting rooms inviting

My meeting with Harbor Village was really great! I had prepared a list of questions that were all answered. The apartment was very nice, and I especially liked that Harbor Village is in a residential community, with a lot of plants and trees--nature abounds!

I enjoy the menu and variety of breakfast food. The staff seems to care about us, keeping up with the lawn and flowers. The staff tries to add fun things for us to do, and helps us try new things we’ve never tried before

Very clean, friendly staff and lots of fun activities. The guide was very kind and helped us understand the daily support available for the residents.

Staff is wonderful. Food problem is not the fault of the kitchen staff. They cook what is ordered for them on menus that are given to them. To sum it up on one sentence, for rent in excess of [removed] dollars a month you shouldn't have to eat a bologna sandwich. We should have better food at the price of the rooms.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting a family friend who is a resident at the Villas at St James. We went during their monthly supper club event and what a wonderful time we had. Aside from the delicious food, the staff and even the executive director were making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Each staff member greeted each guest and made sure they were served promptly. The building was so clean and smelled so nice. A great experience for all.

What a lovely place! I visited a family friend at the supper club event on [date removed] and was blown away by the overall atmosphere of the place. The workers were cheerful, helpful, kind and attentive to both resident and guests. The food was amazing and the fireworks were wonderful. I met the Executive Director and she was very welcoming and took the time to visit with each table. I was very pleased to see how well taken care the residents are.

I experienced a fantastic tour with [name removed], the Executive Director. She was very knowledgeable and I could tell she loved what she does. Everyone was polite and had smiles on their faces. The young lady that was at the front desk was very professional and had a delightful attitude. Overall, I could see myself there.

They are good for my loved one. They are always patient. The workers are friendly and it smells good. I would recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one.

We were taken on our tour by a wonderful women (AS) who was very understanding and kind. The Villas was really nice, clean, the people friendly. Unfortunately, they don't have a locked in area and my husband's dementia causes him to be a walk-away joe! So it wasn't a good fit for us but would be an awesome place for someone who needs to be cared for.

I am currently living here at Brookstone of Aledo and I enjoy it very much. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The most important thing is I feel safe here and it feels like it’s home.

This is a very nice facility. One of the very best in the surrounding area. It’s always kept well cleaned, and the staff there are always present and friendly. I would feel comfortable having a loved one live at Brookestone.

I went to visit a family friend and it was a wonderful place to visit. Very clean and the residents were all sitting outside visiting and enjoying the nice weather. We had lunch there and the food was as really good. All the staff members were very friendly.

I was pleased with how clean and welcoming Brookstone was while visiting with my great aunt. The staff is amazing, they genuinely care about their residents. I’m grateful for the team at brookstone to keep her occupied and well taken care of.
