My mother recently moved in and it was a very good move in process. The food is great and staff are nice. The activities are good but I think the director could work a little harder to do more engaging activities that the residents are interested in. I would like to see a few more outings. Overall though my mother is happy and so am I.

I really liked the location of this community. I was able to walk to a few stores and restaurants. I enjoyed the easy bus transportation. The care and food inside the community was very nice and workers were good.

We have found Brookstone to be a very pleasant facility. Everyone is friendly and the residents seem to like living there. They have so many activities and include the community in many events. It is always very clean and bright. I would recommend Brookstone to anyone that would benefit from their assisted living facility.

When my senior faced a crisis that led to the realization that home was no longer a safe, pleasant space place to live, the staff at Brookstone came to the rescue. The senior’s positive experience with friends who had lived there in the past was a huge plus. Every other detail for making a move was quickly worked out and she is happy to have a new home.

Moved our mother in this past month and everything was seamless. Staff provided great assistance all along the way, from first tour of the facility to on-boarding mom as a new resident. Will highly recommend! They are also very supportive of family involvement.

The care that my mother has received has been amazing! The staff is so caring, attentive, timely with assistance and the food is excellent. Lots of activities everyday.

Staff is all very pleasant, helpful and friendly. No complaints about facility community except smell in 300 hall, The activities are very included and great for the residents.

My experience has been features since I arrived. Have make new friends and renewed friendships will personality known school friends, etc. Lots of activities to choose among. never lonely.

This is an excellent community with plenty of activities for the residents and staff that truly cares for the residents.

As we enter the facility, high grade face masks were given to us. This gave me the impression of the management’s health concern among the residents, visitors and employees. Employees I saw in the public are seemed pleasant with smiles in their face and greeting everybody they encountered. Ambiance was pleasant…..clean, spacious, bright, and very welcoming. Visiting during the holiday season, Christmas décor was very neat with a cute Gingerbread house and festive cookies and goodies. The smell of popcorn being popped added a feeling of comfort and homeliness. The dining room had an ambiance of a friendly family restaurant that was clean, spacious and well lit .Residents looked happy and contended having their meals in the dining room. Food looked very appetizing and portions seemed generous. Another attraction that appealed to me was gym. It was spacious, well laid out and equipped and designed for elderly.

Chevy Chase House hit the basics, but the culinary services sold us on this establishment. They provide good-quality food for its residents in terms of nutritional value, taste, and variety. The menu changes daily, the dining room has a nice ambiance, and the facilities throughout the establishment look clean and new. Walking in, the establishment has a clean smell and nice decor, and it’s comforting to know that residents live in a central location and have assistance with errands in addition to the wellness programs provided.

Excellent location, clean, however menu and food options gives this place several steps above others. White table cloth nice touch, love the grill and outside table. Food is priority for seniors like me and will be my deciding factor. Well rounded facility from activities , entertainment, proximity to Rodman, cbs, church. Relatives visiting will not get bored.

I like it here. I like to sit in my room and watch tv but others like to do things with others. There are many activities. The food is good and there are offerings for my dietary restrictions. I have been here for a while now.

My father loves The Country House. Some of the staff have changed, some for the good, some for the worse but overall, we are very satisfied with the care he gets. He seems happy there and even though the price just went up, its still average with places in the same town.

The Country House is a lovely community with lovely staff members. They work hard to make sure my mother is well cared for and the activities are well thought out and keeps the residents engaged. The food is good and the price for living there is reasonable.

My first contact with Chevy Chase House was a tour with a dear friend who was actively looking for a residence. Friendly staff, clean and fresh atmosphere, well maintained building, variety of apartments, and oh yes, the excellent food! We barely left and my friend said, I want to live there! And she has for several years. Activities for enrichment, yoga, physical exercise classes, speakers, live music, and friends and family are always welcomed. CC House even welcomes visits from my dog who enjoys all the attention from the dog loving residents! My friend and I have toured other facilities but these large size facilities didn't fit the need for a more personal, less institutional atmosphere that CCHouse has created. This safe location is excellent with shops, post office, library, community center, restaurants, multiple grocery stores, bus stop and if you are a walker, not far from the Metro. For your loved ones this is a special place, go visit!

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have taken care of my elderly mother. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We were treated like family. We would recommend a place for mom to anyone who asks.

My mother has lived at the villas at St James for about six weeks. I have been so impressed by how the employees have gone out of their way to make her feel welcome. Everyone is positive and happy. Mom's apartment is cute and clean, and since she got to bring her own furniture, it feels like home. If Mom has an issue with anything at all, help is just a push button away. My mom has limited vision, but there are still lots of activities that she's been able to participate in. I have been very impressed with the Villas at St James.

I have been been here 6 months and am grateful for the caregivers, nurses and techs housekeeping, maintenance, dining staff administration and all other who have cared loved, fed, helped and brought me back to life.

A nice place to love. The people that work here are great. The people that live here have become good friends. Everyone is very polite. I've gone and seen numerous places. The Bush museum Christmas lights. So many restaurants. They take food care of us.
