My mom had the very best caregivers and friendships at Worthington that any family could ask for. She lived at another senior living but this one was truly home and we were very blessed for the time she spent here.

The facility is very nice. I have watched the physical therapy folks work with my father and other others and they are excellent. The staff keeps the facility clean at all times. The residence seem happy to have so many others of their generation to socialize with. It looks to be a 9-1 ladies to men ratio. My dad does not engage much in the puzzles or movie events, but doesn’t enjoy church rosary and sitting with the other men at their table for meals. If there is one negative my father continues to point out it is the evening meals. I know he has options so I don’t know if it’s justified or not. I did compare this facility to the other facility in [community removed] were , in my opinion, the better facility. The staff are all wonderful..

My grandfather is a resident at the Villas at St. James. He has received extraordinary care and accommodations from the most pleasant and caring staff. They truly go above and behind offering a new “home” for our loved ones and, for me, a new view on assisted living. The relief and comfort the Villas provides, knowing my grandfather has people around him that care about him like family, is incredibly appreciated! Thank you!

My grandmother was a resident here for about 4 months and loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility and her room was always clean as well. Amy was always there to answer any questions or concerns we had. She has a heart of gold and we could tell she treated every patient like it was her own grandparent ! This facility is excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone

Caring, competent & friendly staff. Great activities and entertainment for those who enjoy interacting with others. Opportunities for exercise, arts & crafts, and more. Good food choices for those who enjoy activities dining room experience. All in a luxury setting. Our family chose Worthington Manor for our mom.

amazing staff!! 100% recommend the villas for premium, loving care!! i did my senior service here and loved the residents along with everyone on the staff. everyone is friendly and willing to help! also, there are always enjoyable activities for the residents!!

I enjoy the place. It is so beautiful and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy making crafts and getting to know everyone. I highly recommend Worthington for your loved one! The food is amazing. Chef makes great specials and there is a lot of everyday choices too.

The staff was super nice the building is super clean and big. I was very impressed with it. All the residents seemed happy and cared for. I would for sure let my family and friends love here. The lunch we had was great.

I had searched for an assisted living place for my Father, in about [date removed], his dementia was becoming an issue. Many places had an odor to them, some had people crammed into one large room, low ceiling, wheel chairs lined the walls with people in them. Then we found the Claremont Place. The grounds were well manicured, the entrance was grand, and open, even the dining room reminded me of a nice restaurant. The rooms were nice, private and secure for him. He lived there for about 7 years until he passed. Now my 95 year old mother thrives there. She has lived at the Claremont place over 5 years now in the assisted living side. She is happy to be there where the friendly staff assist her with her daily needs and routines. I especially enjoy the staff, proactive med tecs, and good communication.

Recently visited the community and the new remodel is gorgeous. It feels so warm and homey. The staff was very sweet. you can tell they love the residents. My mom used to live in the community so I had to stop by and see the changes. It is perfect! My mom lived at the community for 10 years. I would recommend them to everyone.

Claremont Place has been an outstanding community for my loved one, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and warmth they provide every day. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and full of life. The staff is exceptional—patient, attentive, and genuinely committed to creating a safe and supportive environment. What I appreciate most is the personal attention residents receive. Whether it’s assistance with daily activities, engaging in conversation, or encouraging participation in events, the team consistently goes above and beyond. The activities calendar is always full, offering everything from crafts and exercise to music and social gatherings, helping residents stay active and connected. The dining experience is also wonderful. Meals are well-balanced, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared, and dining staff make the experience enjoyable and social. This Thanksgiving Chevy Chase House’s sales director, resident services coordinator, and executive chef are top of mind. Within 4 weeks of my first visit, they admitted my mom to Chevy Chase House—delivering exactly what they had promised. They kept their promise to move her into a room without carpeting before Thanksgiving and at the agreed-upon price, confidently managed the administrative process, and continually and lovingly finessed a meal plan to meet my mom’s daunting allergy-related needs. The executive chef has served and met with my mom personally countless times, and welcomed four family members to her restaurant over the past week. Chevy Chase House advertises itself as delivering personalized service, and for us it has done exactly that.

Moving is not an easy decision. They make it a wonderful transaction here. We have fun laugh and they care about is. Everyone helps, out, everyone says hello. My aunt has settled in and found a place to call home and live vibrantly.

Check in on me not intrusive they care they care. The staff is a 6++. It is name and that is the best thing I can say. Even the coffee is good!

I was so relieved to finally find a place, where my mother is well taken care of. Mother has advanced dementia. After looking at many places, and even trying another place for a year, I finally chose the Esplanade of Woodmere, Long Island. Staff is attentive, and knows all the needs of every individual resident. Beautiful, clean residence. Director, [name removed]is top notch. The food is wonderful. My mother is so well taken care of. [name removed]

For my prior business I visited many types of assisted living to move my clients. Most of them had secure floors for people witih memory issues. Although this is a secure facility, residents have the entire building to walk around. Compared to the others, this is a superior set up for memory care. The staff here is very friendly and they know everyone. I love walking into this beautiful, clean, modern facility where we are greeted cheerfully and everyone knows my father-in-law. There are active programs to improve memory. My father-in-law does not partake, but we see it occurring while we visit. My father-in-law calls the Esplanade a Hotel and for all intents and purposes, that is what it feels like; an upscale Hotel. We rest peacefully knowing he is a resident at the Esplanade.

Great atmosphere, friendly & caring staff from the time my father-in-law moved in and he has been there a year. I love the monthly family dinner with the entertainment and food. They have a great chef( [name removed] and [name removed]).

I want to share how grateful my I am for Esplanade of Woodmere!! I Have a mom with dementia isn’t easy, and trusting other people to care for her is even harder — but ALL the staff here has made it so great even though this is. Such a tough situation. They treat my mom with real kindness, patience, and respect. You can tell they actually CARE and see her as a person, not just a job. [names removed] and the whole team communicates with me clearly, and never make us feel like we’re bothering them. Every time I visit, I walk out knowing she’s clean, taken care of and for sure in good hands. That kind of peace of mind is something you can’t put a price on. This place has been a blessing for my mom and for my whole family! I want to say a big shout out one last time to all the staff and especially to [name removed], whose hard work keeps everything running smoothly. THNK YOU ALL SO SO SO. MUCH!!!

My mom lives at Claremont Place and loves it! She is so happy with her home. She loves the food, the staff and the activities. She loves sitting and talking to other residents. She takes her daily walks and enjoys sitting in the courtyard, living room, and bistro. Every time I speak to her she says how much she loves her home.

My mother has resided at Claremont Place's Memory Care section for two & a half years now. I love that Memory Care has their own outdoor garden area & walking path for residents to access on their own. They also have many activities available regularly as well as entertainment brought in for all residents. Because cooking & baking have been a large part of Mom's adult life, it is nice that CP offers "Kitchen Creations" once or twice a month for Memory Care residents. Staff is caring & friendly from Care givers, housekeeping, kitchen & serving staff, office & administrative staff.
