I just finished a yearlong search with my mother for a retirement community in the Olympia area. After researching numerous area options she selected the Firs and has been very pleased with her choice. Before and after selecting the Firs and continuing after she moved into her apartment the entire staff from the executive director to the dining staff have been genuinely friendly, helpful and professional. The food was fresh, appeared to be made from scratch and exceeded our expectations. The staff has been and continues to be very responsive to all the items normally associated with moving. We are very happy with our choice!

We moved my parents to Cottonwood Creek several years ago. Initially, it was a difficult transition going from a large home to apartment living. However, the staff at Cottonwood Creek made them feel at home and it was a great experience for them. My mother passed away in July of 2014 and the staff was extremely kind and thoughtful. They took special care of my dad during his hardest time especially after moving him into the AL2 section. The CNA's in the AL2 section take great care of my sweet dad and I am grateful for their kindness and extra care they provide to him. I would recommend Cottonwood Creek as a great place to live.

This review is well overdue. Our father has been at the Wellington for six years now. He's had a few bumps in the road, in that time. The staff worked with him with kindness, awearness, and professional manner To bring him back towards a easier way of living. The property is always looking great for the residence too enjoy, the walk gardens, the game room, computer room,even the library. Dad always enjoys breakfast, and the dinners as well. I know I can speak for my three other brothers, we want to thank the Wellington for the great care they have given our father.

My experience with Welbrook has been nothing short of wonderful! The whole staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! My father has had a hard time coming to grips with his growing dependency on others ( Alzheimer's ). But the staff has been very respectful towards him even when he is being difficult!. I would highly recommend Welbrook to anyone who has to make the difficult decision to place their parent. The grounds are beautiful and well-cared for and the buildings and rooms are tastefully decorated and up-to-date.

We've had a couple of issues because of some things I guess I had assumed and was not adequately informed on. They are doing a little construction right now. My main complaint is they told me they could handle my husband, then 4 days in they told me we had to hire a sitter which raised the cost. Insurance covers some of it, but now that portion will run out a lot quicker. They also need some more activities that are of interest to the guys. More bowling, for example. On the bright side, my husband is gaining weight (he was way to thin) and gaining strength.

I toured this facility when I was looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this place looked very nice overall, and I'm sure it would have satisfied our care needs just fine! The facility itself was nice looking, and the staff all seemed very friendly. We ended up selecting a different facility that was a little closer to home, but this place is definitely worth a look if you are searching for senior care in the area!

My mom is having a great time. She does activities. She signs up to go places. She is driven to doctors apt. She goes to the store. She has a restaurant where she is able to order food. You cannot miss the Buffets that Glen puts on once a month. She walks and talks to everyone.

Moving my mother from Tucson, Arizona to Phoenix was helped tremendously by knowing, "A Place for Mom" was there. With their suggestions we viewed 5 different living communities and with my mother found that Tuscany seemed to be the best fit for her. Residents and all of the staff were/are very helpful and made my mother feel very comfortable with her decision. My mother is very happy and has been very busy at Tuscany. The food is wonderful and made as if you were at a fine restaurant. The staff is very caring and the residents are open and inviting to make all feel very welcome. I think all the positive energy at Tuscany helps the residents also. I know I've seen a very positive change in my mothers attitude since being at Tuscany at McCormick Ranch.

They have been wonderful! One of the things we first noticed is how neat and clean it is. Everyone is just wonderful. We feel like we get our money's worth, she gets great meals there and we don't have to worry. She is still acclimating, getting used to the schedules. They have been really good about getting back to us with any questions. They really made the transition for us pretty smooth. She is able to be independent and have more services and programs added as she needs them.

The staff is trained well. I like the feeling of being at home. The communication is very open. It's very clean. They are taking very good care of my loved one.

They really don't do that many activities here. They tend to do a lot of movie watching. When they clear the dining rooms, they use one of them to play DVDs. As for the value, it's the cheapest around, but I would say that it would be worth around $2500/month, and nothing more. The rooms are small and very minimal. There's about enough room for a bed, a side table and a chair. I think they could really benefit from more field trips and outings. They don't really get out much. We did choose the Adobe house, though, because it has a much better atmosphere than the others we looked at. It doesn't have that corporate feel that some of the other bigger companies have.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. My mother-in-law was a little resistant but that very quickly turned into comfort and enjoyment due to all the activities and choices. She seems to be embracing the facility and is especially fond of the staff. So far the experience has been a blessing for our whole family.

Everyone has been very helpful and caring given the hard choices which have been made. The employees and other tenants have gone out of their way to provide a welcoming experience. The best part is knowing my parents are getting nutritious meals daily.

We're very impressed with the memory care here! It's a large, and well run unit, and they've got a ton of activities that people of all levels of care can participate in. The staff are very friendly, and they made it very easy to get her transferred over and had a lot of resources to help us out. The only issue I've noticed is that the carpet in the common areas and hallways could use a bit more attention when it comes to cleaning. I would also like better feedback with areas of concern. Sally and Britney are great.

When I walked in the door at The Inn at Greenwood Village, I was pleasantly surprised. It was warm and welcoming and the scent of home-baked cookies filled the air. The administrative staff was welcoming and gladly answered all my questions and even provided more information for me to review. As I toured the facility, I observed a serene environment with content residents chatting, playing games, cheerfully greeting the staff I was with, and visiting in groups on the back patio. The always-open bistro had snacks and fruit on the counter for residents to help themselves to as well as coffee, cocoa, chai tea, lemonade, and other drinks. I was told that they make homemade cookies in the afternoon as well. The calendars, which were posted and available at various locations, presented a wide array of fun activities each day for everyone to participate in, if they chose. When I left, I knew that my mama would love coming to The Inn at Greenwood Village and making this her new home away from home.

It was very nice. There were a couple of disadvantages in that the two bedroom apartments were located in a separate building from the main building. They did have complete kitchens. The separate buildings was a primary reason I chose another place. Another reason was that they had a long wait list to get in.

They've had some problems with the billing. That has been sort of mixed up and confusing and my mom hasn't been real pleased with them becuase they direct clients to their doctors. I don't know if there is any financial incentive for them to do that. Maybe their just trying to be helpful. The really like the food and the gym. It was the only place that we looked at that had a work out room. My parents have gone to some of the lectures and shopping trips and things like that. The thing that made my mom choose The Wellington was the other residents. She though they were perkier, brighter and move involved people. The Wellington was willing to work them on the price too.

Chancellor Gardens is located close to family so it makes it easy for them to visit. Across the street there is a place you could conduct physical therapy. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We are pleased with Chancellor Gardens and would recommend them to anyone.
