My aunt is kind of forgetful so when I ask her about the laundry or the cleaning she says they cleaned but she's not sure exactly what they've done. I just don't know how the process works. I think it would be helpful to have a sort of infromational packet for when you first put someone in a place like this and you don't know what you're doing, like me. For example, the laundry. Am I supposed to strip her bed for her so they wash her sheets or do they do that? I was calling and asking questions everday and they were really nice about it but I think a little info sheet would be nice. I can tell you that they really did make my aunt feel comfortable. Within days they were calling her by name and I think that really made the difference in making her feel comfortable and safe there.

They are really good. They have been quite nice to work with. My mom is a big bingo player so she likes the bingo and she loves the food. They are very responsive and attentive - just the nicest people! They make you feel welcome. They have a nurse who is there 24/7 so they are able to administer medications. They've been great.

The price of Cottonwood Creek seems to be right on par with the other comparable communities in the area. Currently there is an odor of urine in the hallway but they are working on it. Our loved one is really having fun here they have lots of activities. It just seems like they were the right fit for our loved one. The landscaping is good and the community is very beautiful when you first walk in. They have fresh flowers in the lobby. The food looks really good it has a beautiful presentation. The food taste a little bland but I think that is because they have to cater to elderly. They do have a great salad bar for lunch and dinner. The dining area is setup like a restaurant they have a wait staff. The staff here is super friendly and we have nothing but positive experience with the people here. They bend over backwards to help and care for the residents.

The Courtyard at Mt. Tabor was by far the friendliest and least institutional places we looked at which is why we chose it. Everyone in the family loves it but mom has had a slow adjustment, with dementia her opinions about the place changes daily. I think people looking for a place for their loved one should plan for unexpected costs. Everything that happens costs more, and it's not unique to the Courtyard, the senior care industry has lots of hidden costs that no place will share with you until something happens and you need more services. Those unexpected costs should be considered when budgeting for a loved one. The Courtyard at Mt. Tabor also offers a lovely independent living option and then the resident can transition to its assisted living option when needed. Someone in the industry recommended the Courtyard as the best facility for couples who may need different levels of care but want to live together in the same place. I thought that was a high recommendation coming from them.

McDowell Village is fresh and clean no stale air smell. The layout of the facility is great and has been enhanced over the years. The people are very helpful and friendly. The food is good and the outdoor property is lovely and attaches to the senior center. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor common areas.

Communication and overall experience was great in the beginning, under original management team. They had a complete mgt turnover and then raised prices at the same time they brought in new managers who knew -0- about my mother's condition. Over billing took weeks to resolve. Serious lack of communication during a norovirus outbreak. We complained and I did get a call from someone from a regional office who said all the right things but never followed up...

Most of the staff are very helpful and kind. The sales person [name removed] was excellent and the front desk is very kind and responsive.

What we like the most about the community is their very friendly staff. 24 hour staff in case of emergency due to the assisted living side. We would definitely recommend this community to others! They are so friendly and ready to help. They know my husband and I as we walk in. Great emergency response.

What we like the most about the community is that they are welcoming, clean community with walking trail. good follow through from staff. Their in house care agency could communicate better.

The tour was excellent. The explanation was good, and covered nearly 100% of the checklist. I liked the building, the staff attituded, and the folks I met. The place is pet friendly. I think my mother-in-law would like it at The Commons. The only downside is that I now feel pressured to act immediately and place a deposit on a room when my father-in-law just died and my mother-in-law is not yet ready. This moved my rating down from a 5 to a 4.

My father's apt is accommodating and was clean and ready to go upon move in. They even helped set up the cable tv. My only complaints: more frequent showers (only 1x week) and shower asst and daily dress assistance. Staff and residents are very happy, kind, and helpful. There appears to be a wide range of daily activities, offering at least something for everyone. One of the exercise and activities guy, [name removed], is super nice and fun!! Food is good, dining area is nice and accommating, recurring menu avail all day/daily plus specials everyday for breakfast lunch dinner.

My wife and I enjoyed our tour of Citrus Place. The staff was very professional and seemed to care about the residents. The building is well kept and attractive to the eyes on the inside. There are plenty of activities for the residents. I would have no problem recommending Citrus Place to family and friends. Thank you, [name removed]

Nice and clean facility, way too many turnovers in the staff. They weeded out so many wonderful employees and we are praying this stops.

They really increased the prices this year. Cleanliness of his room is a small issue.

All is well, and I really like it here. The Firs has a lot of activities for residence and good food. I would recommend to others.

Nice facility. Good energy vibes and friendly staff. Unsure if a larger community is appropriate for my family member’s needs but wanted to see the layout, rooming options and availability of personalized care.

The food was good and service was good! The staff was polite and helpful. Her apartment was very nice! I don't think she needs to have her clothes set out for her! Otherwise it was a good visit!

Affordability and location to my house is why we chose them. I would recommend.

Everything was great - only improvement was laundry. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.
