My mother in law is still adjusting to living at this community. She does not like the food and feels the portions are to small. I have eaten there a few times and I do not think the food is that bad. The community is very clean. They have a large exercise room that she likes to take advantage of. I am glad we found this community as it has been everything I thought it would be from my first visit.

Mom had a great respite stay at Cottonwood. The staff treated her nicely. The food was good and they keep the community clean. They allow pets and I would recommend this community. This community is in a little more private location than others we looked at.

The Inn at Greenwood is one of my favorite places to visit and refer. The smiles start at the front door. Friendly staff are there at every turn. The activities are there to keep residents fit and active. The Inn is located in the perfect area in the DTC area: Off the beaten path yet close to all you need. The grounds are beautiful with flowering vegetation. This is it!! If you are looking for that next place to live or bring your loved ones. You picked a great place. Shaun Stone

Mom is getting better every week at Seven Lakes Memory Care. This is a smaller lock down community for all stages of Alzheimer's care. The staff are close by so they can quickly respond to any need. Mom is slowly starting to participate in the daily activities. They have a full medical staff on site including a psychologist.

My Husband's parents moved in a few weeks ago. The staff is very helpful and friendly! They have a nice one bedroom apartment! They are adjusting and making new friends!

My aunt is settling into Almond Heights very well. The food is not always consistent and they run out of the specials but they are able to order off of a side menu. The community is new and they have a lot of state of the art technology. The place is elegant, like living in a grand hotel. She is able to keep her dog there with her. She is involved in activities and went on an outing.

Huntington Terrace is a wonderful environment for seniors. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, the high quality dining room food rivals many restaurants, and the atmosphere is lively. In visiting other facilities in the area, Huntington Terrace had more activity in and around the lobby. They offer a variety of activities to residents, from weinie roasts to wine tasting! There is a dedication to the residents' safety and well-being. The building is well maintained and very clean. All this at a reasonable cost.

We searched all over for a place that would work for Grandpa. He just turned 101 at the beginning of March. He is independent and still full of life, but needing more attentive care. The Charleston is clean, comfortable with large rooms and great activities. The food is high quality too. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating and helped to get him settled. We appreciate that they are willing to work with home health and hospice companies. This helped to save us some on the cost of his care. And while the first two weeks were a little rough for him (transitioning to a new place), the staff cared about resolving any issues and genuinely cared about him and his comfort. We are happy that he is happy and that he feels at home!

I have a relative here and wrote a review which I would like to update. The new management has done a very good job making improvements that make The Firs a much better place to live than a couple of years ago. Activities have been created that are fun, stimulating and let some be built upon feedback of residents and families. There are more options and events that just brings people out of their apartments to socialize and laugh. Residents are bringing their expertise to share knowledge and keep the active minds learning. The food has improved with a big effort to incorporate fresh food and new recipes that are not prepackaged into menus. Repairs and maintenance is done quickly. When my relative was ill the staff and management was exceptional doing whatever they could to help her, and to support me.

The staff is very compassionate and welcoming here. They did a very good job of making the transition as smooth as possible with us. The food is decent, but not the greatest. The facility is always in order and clean.

I have personally work with seniors and people with disabilities for over 25 years as a fitness instructor/therapist. Many of my clients that I work with or have worked with have Alzheimer's or dementia. This is a very personal and emotional issue with me. I LOVE my clients and I obviously want the best care for them. I have worked in many nursing homes, assisted living facilities and memory care units I northern Colorado, and I have never experienced such loving personal care and loyalty to their residents as I have at Seven Lakes Memory Care. The facility and rooms are extremely clean, bright and beautifully stimulating for their residents. The staff are always engaging with the residents and are truly dedicated to their well being. The reason I am writing this is because I have worked in places that are to be honest, heart breaking. Please, if you are in the position that you have to make the decision of placing your loved one in a health facility, consider Seven Lakes. It would be the ONLY place that I would feel comfortable and confident with my precious family member.

My father was ill when he moved in "Connections for Living" one month ago. The doctors at another Facility assessed him with dementia, however, he had a major infection. "Connections for Living" was the perfect place for him, at the time. The care he received from Erica and her staff allowed my father to receive the care he needed. He was assessed at a level 4, which included bathing, transport, medication, etc. in addition to the costs of the room. He loves the food!! He has really enjoyed joking and laughing with the staff. He is now getting around by himself in his wheelchair. He was able to be re-assessed so that he can be moved to Assisted Living. Since he was only there for a month, he only went on one outing to the Beach, but he said it was very enjoyable. He has been to several activities at "Connections for Living" (singing, "balloon volleyball", etc) and Assisted Living (Hawaiian Singers & Dancers, and BBQ), and said they were a lot of fun. He is looking forward to his move.

Dallas Ranch took care of my mother in law by providing excellent service at their facility during her short time there. The staff and residents were very friendly and helpful. She had a wonderful experience participating in their activities and she made many friends.

So far so good at The Commons at Dallas Ranch. Mom has had a few issues at the beginning but she is happy there. We are still going back and forth on price. It's on par with everyone else. The communication is pretty good here. I have no complaints from my mom. The staff is very attentive. They are doing there job thoroughly which I appreciate. Whatever sparks mom interest they seem to really encourage. There is some confusion with certain things. The issues are minor but for instance some of moms towels haven't gotten back to her after going to the laundry. Nothing major but just a few little hiccups. Overall I am pleased with the facility.

As another professional in the senior care marketplace, I have observed the Tuscany staff and their residents interactions. The entire staff is professional, caring and very attentive to their resident's needs. From the administration, to Cathy [last name removed] and the marketing staff, to Jan at the front desk, and Susie in activities, all Tuscany visitors and residents are warmly welcomed and cared for. I have recommended and will continue to recommend clients to Tuscany at Mc Cormick Ranch.

We had originally planned on touring many locations, but this was the first AND last on our search. We were immediately impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and value. We have complete peace knowing our father is placed at the right community.

The nurse on duty at Palisades At Broadmoor Park is excellent. She cares, is very empathetic, and does an excellent job. I am not as impressed with the sales people. Not that they are bad, but I just wasn't as impressed with them as I was with the people that were in the trenches doing the work. Overall it really has been a very positive experience and I would recommend them.

This was just a short respite stay. The only thing I had problems with was just an administrative issue, but as soon as I brought it to their attention they were right on it. He was very comfortable during his stay there, and they took good care of him. The food was good. They had some activities but not a lot, not as much as he is used to. All in all it was a good experience.

Today I had a tour of The Firs, a retirement community for those 55+. I was thoroughly amazed at what I saw. Happy people in groups watching a movie, gathered over Root Beer Floats, in the Library, using the gym and on it goes. There is something for everyone including all meals and activities which take off weekly for parts of beauty here in the Pacific Northwest. When I get to this part of my life, I too would like to join in all the fun!! The staff is what makes it so much fun....From the executive director and sales/marketing sfaff to all who work in the kitchen and housekeeping there are miles of smiles and they know every ones' name and greet them as if they are family.

Just learning, but so far, great place for Mom!
