I am reviewing this for my aunt. At first she was not too happy, not with the facility, but with the situation. She doesn't feel, like so many that she needs to be there. However she is getting very forgetful and either forgets to take her meds or doubles up on them, so the medication management has been greatly appreciated. She actually loves the facility and her little apartment in the garden area, I am much more at ease now that she is there. I know she is safe and she is getting her meds regularly.

2 staff present all the time. Very caring . I visited 5 homes before selecting this one, and it was the cleanest, most impressive and offered 2 person staff. They have been on top of any and all medical issues and communicate often and timely with me for any issues concerning my sister's needs.

My mother-in-law was a resident here for about six months. My wife and I were very pleased with every facet of care and service that we received. The staff treated mom with dignity and respect from the time we arrived through hospice care. We highly recommend Seven Lakes Memory Care as a safe and caring place for your loved one to reside.

The entire staff at The Firs are compassionate and caring and they go out of their way to make sure all the residents are safe and well taken care of. In addition to the full time staff, the high school kids that work in the dining room are amazingly compassionate, polite, respectful and hard working. The facility itself is always clean and quiet and there is always an opportunity for social interaction in-house or during one of their off-premises events. The building is a contemporary Northwest design and very warm and comfortable as well. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom.

I have lived at The Hillcrest for a year and find it delightful, totally fulfilling my expectations. Amenities not present in other local facilities include a full kitchen and complete laundry room in each independent living apartment, and an indoor parking garage. Very impressive to me is the rural atmosphere in the middle of the city - lots of open space in the historic area of Loveland with safe spaces to go for long walks. Staff is very attentive to the needs of residents and all employees quickly recognize every resident by name. Moving here from a great distance, I’ve found many new friends and discovered that residents genuinely care for each other. The dining room offers a wide variety of delicious food. Actvities are offered daily to meet a variety of interests. Love this place.

The Charleston has been a great home for my mom. My dad passed away just one week after they moved in. Even though it had been only a week, there were already people who cared about my mom. The night my dad died, about 10 p.m., just when we were getting ready for bed, there was a quiet knock on the door and one of the senior CNAs came to see if mom needed anything, to give her a hug and let her know she cared. She had come after her shift was over. It wasn't part of her job, it was just who she was. That's only one example of the kindness and caring that has been extended. The food is good, the people are kind, the hairdresser makes my mom feel pretty and we, as family, sleep better knowing she's in a safe place.

We’ve been very pleased here. The staff is really pleasant. There have been a few mix-ups, but they try real hard to make things as convenient as possible. The food is unbelievably good and the chef is just excellent. The facility is kept very clean and housekeeping comes by once a week to clean the apartment and wash the linens and towels. There are plenty of activities available with several events a day. Overall, it hasn’t been totally perfect but they’re certainly trying.

Everything is going great here for my Mom. It’s a fairly new place so they had immediate openings and they’re only half full so there’s a lot of one on one interaction with the staff and the residents. The staff has been easy to talk with and they’ve been able to answer all my questions. They know everyone by name and they really urge everyone to join in and participate in the activities that they provide. They have different types of things to do like bingo, making crafts and small projects. They’ve really got all kinds of stuff. Another thing I like about them is that when my Mom was first there, she’d go in to have a meal and sit by herself but the staff really made the effort to get her involved in meeting new people. The food is good and she hasn’t had any complaints at all. If there isn’t something you like on the regular menu, they have an alternate menu with a lot of options so there’s plenty of variety to choose from. Everything has been kept very clean and I think housekeeping comes by once a week to clean the apartment and then change her linens. This facility is assisted living and they have 5 different levels of care that they provide so the price changes depending on that but what we pay includes all of her physical therapy, medications, activities and food.

My parents had already put money down on a perfect apartment. They were set up to move and then they went and had a meal there. There were so many disabled residents. And my parents are very active, it just wasn't as crisp and clean or up to date as the others we toured. It wasn't a good fit for them.

I toured Kirkwood while looking at options for my mother. I felt that it was a perfect community. I loved the ambiance of the place and the fact that it has an ice cream parlor right when you walk in. My mother loves ice cream, so it would have been wonderful for her. It was just too far away, so I ultimately chose another community for her.

I have lived here for four years. I have found it to be a pleasant experience. The staff have been very approachable with all of my needs. The dining has been a pleasant way to get to know other people and I personally have tried to reach out to new people as they come and make them feel welcomed. We have activities that are well planned and I have participated in all those I was able. We have a great Chef here and some meals are personally appetizing than others but on the whole, we have a great staff in the dining room and kitchen. I think the best thing about The Creekside is that I have become very comfortable with it and when I open my door to my apartment, I am home.

Hello! We moved our mom into Highland Glen in June 20147. I live in the East, so stayed several days to make sure Mom was settled and comfortable. She will soon be 94. We are very pleased with the facility. It is handsomely decorated. I love the paintings. The staff is attentive and caring and appear to love their work. The grounds are inviting and pleasing. The dining room is cozy. The food is imaginative and varied - important for diminished palates. I would live there.

The staff have been very accommodating and flexible. They are staffing the community as they grow. I think the food needs a little help, however dad seems to like it. They do offer some indoor activities at this time. They are looking forward to offering more activities once they have more residents. They put a lot of thought into how this community was laid out. I have already recommended this community.

Moved Mom in 1/2017 from another facility after 5 years of inconsistency. The smaller, home-like environment has been an improvement for her and all the staff have really gotten to know her and treat her with respect and as an individual. I feel very confident that when I am away, she is in responsible hands and is safe. The staff keeps me apprised of everything so there are never any surprises. The snacks are usually healthy and good and meals seem to include the things that most seniors enjoy. The management team is approachable and responsive. I feel very good about the decision to move Mom to Seven Lakes.

Our Mother entered the memory care unit Highland Glen in February 2016. She had Alzheimer's. It was hard decision to have Mom leave her Home and go to Highland Glen, but it was a good decision. She received excellent care. The staff was caring and patient with Mom. After she adjusted, Mom enjoyed singing time, van rides, and other activities that were provided at Highland Glen. Highland Glen was good at keeping us informed of any concerns dealing with Mom's well being. They had different levels of care as Mom's disease changed that helped us in making needed changes in her care. They provided a great service to our family and Mom.

The Firs was a beautiful community with nice amenities. The problem was that it was priced way higher than I could afford. I have a certain income for the year and I can not afford to spend it all on an apartment, but the community was very nice, I recommend it to anyone who can afford it.

My mother lived at the Charleston for four years. She loved it there. She made many, many close friends and especially enjoyed the church services held on site. The dining room staff were kind and friendly and patient. Tracy was so helpful in making transportation arrangements and other special needs for Mother. [Removed] was helpful in making sure her needs were met. Over the years, the activities were fun and plentiful. I often ate in the dining room and enjoyed the company of her friends there and also the kindness of the servers to visitors. Many days I found community visitors playing musical instruments and decorating the doors of the residents for fun. I would recommend this assisted living center for anyone such as my family who could not meet all Mother's needs at home. The staff even made arrangements for her closest friends to attend her funeral. Super staff!!!

Things have been very good so far. The only issue we've had is my mother-in-law moved over a holiday so there wasn't an initial introduction with the directors. She's gone to the new resident introduction and watches movies. The food is great! The housekeeping came in last week. They were very thorough and even cleaned her towels.

This community looked about the best as far as being clean. This is a newer community and has a nicer atmosphere. The food is good and the staff were nice. This community did seem a little high priced compared to other communities in the area.

My Mom who lived at The Palisades for over four years and recently passed on, was very happy to call this "her beloved home". She lived most of her time in the Independent Living part of the community. Through the years she developed many wonderful relationships with fellow renters and staff. When we needed to move her over to the Assisted Living Building the staff went out of their way to make the transition as smooth as possible. Mom loved being a part of The Palisades community. There was always many activities to take part in and she liked the fact that if she needed "alone" time to just do her own thing in her apartment she was able to do that as well. I would not hesitate recommending The Palisades to anyone who is seeking a new home to meet new friends and thrive.
