Very cozy and home-like atmosphere. When I first walked in I noticed that many residents were out and about socializing, eating (their dining room is open from 7am - 7pm) and enjoying each other's company. The staff was also talking with, and interacting with, the residents. There was much laughter and it was overall a very comfortable feel. The activities and events offered cover a wide range of options. My parents were very impressed when they saw that there were many things they are interested in doing. After looking at many options, I felt that the price and value at Mountlake Terrace Plaza was better than may communities that are close by. It's an older building but well maintained. It smells good, it's kept clean, and the residents and staff are happy. My parents now live there.

The overall quality of the facility is impeccable, they are right there if we need them, and they go out of their way to make sure everything is ok. She says the food could be better. She feels very safe there. They have an activities director on premises, and goes out of her way to engage everyone there. They have three levels of care with independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The whole facility is really quite beautiful, and luxurious. You might think you are walking into a four or five star hotel.

They do a great job here! It's a nice looking place, and they keep it very clean. The staff are friendly, and the entire facility just feels very welcoming and family friendly. They also have an impressive variety of activities here. My only complaint is that it is one of the more expensive options that we looked into.

I am very happy with the Adobe house. I am so glad I picked this place for my Mom. She is very happy in her new community. I think this is what she really needed all along as she was living by herself. She now has a roommate to talk with as well as all the other members of her community.

I thought Oakdale was wonderful. It would have been my second choice. The only thing I didn't like was that it was far away but I was very impressed with the sales person and with everything there.

The care is good and the activities are good too. We haven't been there that long but it's working out so far. We chose them for the price - it's a good deal.

WOW, I have never seen anything like this for retirement age people!! This is not a dorm, it's like a Resort even down to Room Service and Sunday Champagne brunch that's better than the Biltmore! After seeing this, I am ready to retire and start enjoy Country Club living where everyone knows me by first name!!

I would highly recommend them. The staff is very lovely. The activities that they have are quite interesting. A lot of these places do bus trips and they do that too but they also invite a lot of people in like musicians and various types of entertainment. My husband enjoyed that. There were a lot of lectures where people will come and discuss history and things along those lines. My husband enjoyed all the guests that they had. I really thought the staff was very nice. They knew the people and knew what they were doing.

I like this place and it would cost less than COaks plus 24-7 care givers. Clean, new, rich without being 'grand'. I saw the Renaisance (memory care) building.Garden courtyard, therapeutic animals, semi private means 2 rooms that share a roomy bathroom between them, with a roomy shower.Paige,the Recreational Therapist with a 4 yr degree in the field; did not meet Paige. 24 apartments, 2 of them coming available. I liked one #110, with courtyard on one side and tree, vacant lot, on other. The other, #120, is in a 'busy location' still with a tree out the window. Staff interaction for night wandering. Apt doors open, staff encourage resident to be involved. Maryanna, director/coordinator. I was not there for a meal. Dining room and menu appealing. Hydration program, fruit and treats. Current costs: $5225 Private, $4699 semi private + Level 1 $375, Level 2 $750, up to Level 4, 'almost hospice'

They're doing a wonderful job. I think they offered the best value for our money of any of the places we saw. They're not a nursing facility so you pay rent like you would in an apartment. The cost varies. It would be more expensive for a single room but if you share a room it would be less expensive. They had a hard time finding a compatible roommate for my mom. These are all Alzheimer's people so finding the right roommate is crucial. We did end up find a good roommate for her. On top of rent you have to pay for the assistance that you get. They have a scale of care needs. This was the best value for our money because mom is also an insulin dependent diabetic so our choice of facilities went way down. For the same quality of place that could car for her, there was only other option that was more expensive and didn't have any vacancies. The care is great. Every time I go she's dressed, clean, and fed. The people are nice. This is a good place! They give their employees incentives to get the people up and dressed and cleaned early so they have a full day. There's some kind of activity all the time. I never thought my mom would participate but I constantly find her in the activity room talking to other people and doing things. It's prefect for her. There is an outdoor patio setting with lost of flowers. There is lots there that is stimulating for the residents

They've been very good. It's probably one of the nicest and that's probably why it's so expensive. My mom needs somebody to come in and do her medication but my dad doesn't. We were getting his medications packaged from the pharmacy so he could do them himself but they said unless he can know exactly what every prescription is for they wouldn't let him do it himself so then it costs so much more for them to do the med for him when he couldn't really do them himself. He was doing it by himself and everything was fine. It's needless cost to me. That's the only draw back. My parents don't participate in the activities. They have a million but my parents are professional TV watchers and that's what they enjoy doing. They can participate if they want but they don't want to. Dale Commons is right by the freeway so it's easy for my to go pick them up and visit more often. It looks more like a hotel

Since moving my parents into the Commons, the staff has gone above and beyond my expectations in the care they receive, the activities provided, the extra security, and the overall atmosphere. Each and every staff person has treated my parents with dignity and respect during what turned out to be a very difficult transition for both of them. If I had to choose again, I would definitely choose the Commons. My parents both needed extra care later after living there for a while. The cost is definitely worth the extra care they have provided. The security knowing my parents are being well cared for is priceless.

Very friendly staff, clean, great dining room, koi pond, pool, chapel. Wonderful selection of onsite and offsite activities. Spacious apt units & many great areas to congregate/socialize. Lovely campus. Reasonable $$

My mom's only been there 3 days but as far as I know everything is going alright. Every time I've been there it looks good - clean. She hasn't said anything about the cleanliness and she would have if it wasn't good. She seems happy with them. From talking to her, morning and evening, she's been going to exercise classes and they have bible study. It seems like everything is just what she needed and wanted. This was the first place she went to but she really liked it so we didn't even go anywhere else.

Was very impressed with the grounds, the staff, and the building. The residents were treated warmly, were clean, appeared happy, and in one case I asked a resident how she liked it there. She said she loves it there. It wasn't for us simply because we need a place that can provide more medical care, but as a senior or retirement center, it is very impressive.

They provide lots of activities for the residents to participate in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The community is well maintained and clean. I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

GREAT PLACE OVERALL. GREAT STAFF, VERY CLEAN, GREAT MANAGEMENT. THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS. GREAT FOOD, I EAT WITH MY DAD QUITE OFTEN.

Everyone at Cottonwood Creek was fantastic. My MIL only got to live there just over a week because she ended up needing a skilled nursing facility. But, she very much enjoyed the time she did live there and loved her apartment.

We stopped by on a surprise visit and they were willing to take us around the community. Everything just looked very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating. We were really impressed with the community. The staff just seems happy and like working here. Because the staff likes working here it reflects onto the residents and how well they are taken care of. We would recommend this community to anyone.
