My parents moved into the Hillcrest of Loveland a couple of years ago after looking at other Senior Living facilities. When visiting they were most impressed how friendly, loving, and kind the staff were. The Hillcrest is the cream of the crop. Jeanne [Removed] the Executive Director makes everybody feel like it is one happy family. She is genuine and truly cares about each and every resident. She sets the tone for a very happy atmosphere and there are smiles everywhere from the staff and residents. There are many activities my mom enjoys here and it keeps her busy. She also loves to decorate her very spacious apartment that has a balcony that overlooks the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The food is excellent and gives the appearance of eating in a fine dining restaurant. I truly am blessed to have my mom at The Hillcrest. It is all positive and there is nothing that I dislike about it. I truly believe the staff are God-chosen because each person works at their duties with enthusiasm and it is clear to me that their main interests and desires are to make their residents feel important, loved, and that they are still a great contributor to society and to the people around them. Thank you, Hillcrest, for treating my mom like a queen!

We like living at Tuscany. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make things good for you. They offer one meal a day and it is good. They offer a variety of healthy options. They offer daily activities and we are looking forward to getting involved in these. They keep the community well maintained.

First of all I would like to say this was a difficult situation for us emotionally. Anything dealing with parents and children is hard. In this situation there is always a certain amount of guilt you feel within yourself. But The Commons has taken that feeling away from us. My mother is a very happy, fun loving person. No one is ever a stranger to her! From day one visiting The Commons at Dallas Ranch has been extremely easy. Everyone has been gracious and welcoming and made the transition a breeze. Mom has adjusted with complete ease and has been enjoying herself. One afternoon when I went to visit her, she didn't want to leave for her room for us to visit because they were having arts and crafts. Her comment to me was, "I can't go now I'm busy with my friends!" This was a major turning point for me as I realized right at that moment she was happy being with "her friends!" Staff is very friendly and attentive to each individual. Always greeting me with a warm smile and a big hello, telling me what mom has been doing lately. Letting me know she has a great appetite and loves singing to the music! On another day I went to take some things to mom and the group was seated around a table listening to a book being read. The staff member started asking questions to the group of what she had just read and they were discussing that portion of the book. It was great seeing and hearing mom participate with the group. My family and I are very grateful to the staff for their enthusiasm with mom and the others, being very caring and attentive to the needs of these loving individuals moving on to the next phase of their lives with grace.

It's a wonderful community with very nice staff. They had a nurse on site if needed. I liked that the sales rep was very well informed of everything. A very pretty area around the community. It was very clean and up-kept. I would recommend to a family or loved one.

My mother is doing pretty well here at this community. The community is well maintained, they do a good job with the cleaning. They have a good staff here, but they are short staffed at times. There are many activities offered for the residents. The food is okay, she isn't very pleased with the food. I do feel comfortable with the care they are providing her with. Overall everything has worked out pretty well.

My mom is very happy with this community. It is the best place. I think that staff are all Angels to help my mom. They go out of there way The gounds are very clean and also her room. Mom is no longer involved in the activities, but no longer is able to do so.

My loved one is doing better than I thought since moving into the community. The food is good and they offer a wide variety of healthy options. The staff are good at reminding her of the daily activities so she can participate in them. I would recommend this community.

What a wonderful community, It was our first visit on the list of communities that we plan to visit. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions thoroughly. Overall appearance was excellent and the homey feeling you received the minute you walked through the door was wonderful, two thumbs up!

My grandparents are doing great at Welbrook Arlington community. Grandpa likes the food, staff is extremely friendly. They keep the community really clean. We are please with the community and all it has to offer.

From our first visit at Huntington Terrace, we were impressed with the overall atmosphere of the facility. Caregivers, staff, restaurant help AND residents appeared happy and upbeat. This played a huge part in our decision placing our 92 year old parents there. The vibe was positive, happy, and welcoming. We toured several other facilities in the area, but found Huntington Terrace the perfect fit. The chef prepares delicious meals and there are many selections on the menu that changes each day. The folks had not been eating properly prior to their arrival and the great food has encouraged them to eat. They have stated it is like being a cruise ship. With no meals to worry about planning and preparing, Mom is in heaven. Being new to the community, we were concerned that there would be a long adjustment period; however, this hasn't been the case at all. The staff encourages them to participate in activities and the other residents are so friendly and welcoming, they are slowly venturing out. I can't say enough about this facility. The monthly payment isn't cheap, but the location of the facility, the accommodations, activities, and the additional care which is available as needed, makes Huntington Terrace a very special place. It made a very difficult transition from "independent" living to assisted living so easy for Mom and Dad.

Mom has just moved in, but so far everyone has been super friendly and helpful!

Everything is very well for me, they are caring for me very good. The community looks great, they do a very good job with keeping everything nice and clean. The staff is kind, they are always there when I need some help. There are many activities offered. I'am very pleased with the food, the meals are great. Everything is working out well and I would recommend it.

I can't stress how nice the staff has been. We haven't moved in yet, but the community is extremely clean, and I honestly don't know how they could have been nicer. They were absolutely incredible, and made me feel extremely welcome.

The staff at this community work very well with my in laws as well as with the family. I think the food is good however they feel it is too spicy. There are other food options available. They currently only participate in church activities and we are hoping they will participate in more once they get more settled in. I would recommend this community.

This community is very nice and for the most part clean and maintained. I feel there could be some improvement. The staff are doing a great job keeping my dad active and social and see that the staff are caring and attentive. My dad has enjoyed the happy hour and music that is available for the residents. Dad also has gone on outings that he seems to like. The food looks good and my dad always has two choices to choose from. I would recommend this community because Dad is doing great!

I had a family member stay here for 5 months during a recovery time. Hillcrest is in a lovely neighborhood with beautiful Mountain Views. The staff is very caring. Nice and clean, updated rooms great nutritious meals. We toured 2 others and this was by far the top choice

Mom stayed at Seven Lakes for respite care. She surprised us when she said that she really liked it there. I do not live in the state so I am not able to speak about the food. She does participate in numerous activities more than she has previously. The staff were nice and they took good care of my mom. I would recommend this community.

I would recommend this community to anyone. My wife is settling in nicely and the staff is perfect. The food is good, nutritious and they have a variety of choices. They have activities 3 to 4 times a day and she does participate in numerous ones. Sally is the best person I have met and she is very helpful.

My mother-in-law resided for many years in an upscale independent living establishment in Roslyn, New York. The place was elegant but the food, which for her was a high priority, was extremely lacking. We started looking for a better priced, still upscale location with an excellent restaurant. We settled on Tuscany. The move from New York to Scottsdale was very stressful because the moving van broke down 3 times and took over 3 weeks to arrive. With all that happened I haven't seen my mother in law this happy in years. Arrangements were originally made with Cathy Leonard, Tuscany's Marketing Director, and she was with us all the way, helping and providing support. I can't say enough how wonderful she has been! She made the transition as effortless and comfortable and welcoming as possible. And the entire staff including Aida and Jan at the front desk and Suzy, Social Director have shown all of us great compassion and caring. They really made my mother feel at home. Oh: I forgot to mention my mother absolutely loves the chef! It's been so long since I've heard her rave about her meals. The Tuscany is very special. I visited eight establishments before deciding this was the best place in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I am so happy with our choice!

While having visited several sites for Mom, this one really stood out. My Mom has 5 Daughters, and 3 of us were on the "hunt". We walked into The Wellington and it felt like a hug. Very welcoming...clean (but not 'hospital sterile' feeling) and professional. To get all of us to agree on a site was a miracle in itself! Tenants we visited with who were already there seemed very content and happy. Mom's first week there was spent having meals with peers, sharing stories and laughs. Mom is 93...and she's really brightened up since at The Wellington. Thank you 'A Place For Mom' for assisting us with our search. Success at last!
