From our first visit at Huntington Terrace, we were impressed with the overall atmosphere of the facility. Caregivers, staff, restaurant help AND residents appeared happy and upbeat. This played a huge part in our decision placing our 92 year old parents there. The vibe was positive, happy, and welcoming. We toured several other facilities in the area, but found Huntington Terrace the perfect fit. The chef prepares delicious meals and there are many selections on the menu that changes each day. The folks had not been eating properly prior to their arrival and the great food has encouraged them to eat. They have stated it is like being a cruise ship. With no meals to worry about planning and preparing, Mom is in heaven. Being new to the community, we were concerned that there would be a long adjustment period; however, this hasn't been the case at all. The staff encourages them to participate in activities and the other residents are so friendly and welcoming, they are slowly venturing out. I can't say enough about this facility. The monthly payment isn't cheap, but the location of the facility, the accommodations, activities, and the additional care which is available as needed, makes Huntington Terrace a very special place. It made a very difficult transition from "independent" living to assisted living so easy for Mom and Dad.

Mom has just moved in, but so far everyone has been super friendly and helpful!

Everything is very well for me, they are caring for me very good. The community looks great, they do a very good job with keeping everything nice and clean. The staff is kind, they are always there when I need some help. There are many activities offered. I'am very pleased with the food, the meals are great. Everything is working out well and I would recommend it.

I can't stress how nice the staff has been. We haven't moved in yet, but the community is extremely clean, and I honestly don't know how they could have been nicer. They were absolutely incredible, and made me feel extremely welcome.

The staff at this community work very well with my in laws as well as with the family. I think the food is good however they feel it is too spicy. There are other food options available. They currently only participate in church activities and we are hoping they will participate in more once they get more settled in. I would recommend this community.

This community is very nice and for the most part clean and maintained. I feel there could be some improvement. The staff are doing a great job keeping my dad active and social and see that the staff are caring and attentive. My dad has enjoyed the happy hour and music that is available for the residents. Dad also has gone on outings that he seems to like. The food looks good and my dad always has two choices to choose from. I would recommend this community because Dad is doing great!

I had a family member stay here for 5 months during a recovery time. Hillcrest is in a lovely neighborhood with beautiful Mountain Views. The staff is very caring. Nice and clean, updated rooms great nutritious meals. We toured 2 others and this was by far the top choice

Mom stayed at Seven Lakes for respite care. She surprised us when she said that she really liked it there. I do not live in the state so I am not able to speak about the food. She does participate in numerous activities more than she has previously. The staff were nice and they took good care of my mom. I would recommend this community.

I would recommend this community to anyone. My wife is settling in nicely and the staff is perfect. The food is good, nutritious and they have a variety of choices. They have activities 3 to 4 times a day and she does participate in numerous ones. Sally is the best person I have met and she is very helpful.

My mother-in-law resided for many years in an upscale independent living establishment in Roslyn, New York. The place was elegant but the food, which for her was a high priority, was extremely lacking. We started looking for a better priced, still upscale location with an excellent restaurant. We settled on Tuscany. The move from New York to Scottsdale was very stressful because the moving van broke down 3 times and took over 3 weeks to arrive. With all that happened I haven't seen my mother in law this happy in years. Arrangements were originally made with Cathy Leonard, Tuscany's Marketing Director, and she was with us all the way, helping and providing support. I can't say enough how wonderful she has been! She made the transition as effortless and comfortable and welcoming as possible. And the entire staff including Aida and Jan at the front desk and Suzy, Social Director have shown all of us great compassion and caring. They really made my mother feel at home. Oh: I forgot to mention my mother absolutely loves the chef! It's been so long since I've heard her rave about her meals. The Tuscany is very special. I visited eight establishments before deciding this was the best place in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I am so happy with our choice!

While having visited several sites for Mom, this one really stood out. My Mom has 5 Daughters, and 3 of us were on the "hunt". We walked into The Wellington and it felt like a hug. Very welcoming...clean (but not 'hospital sterile' feeling) and professional. To get all of us to agree on a site was a miracle in itself! Tenants we visited with who were already there seemed very content and happy. Mom's first week there was spent having meals with peers, sharing stories and laughs. Mom is 93...and she's really brightened up since at The Wellington. Thank you 'A Place For Mom' for assisting us with our search. Success at last!

As a professional involved in the senior living industry, I've been coming to the community for several years. The community has never looked better and in my last visit in the past two weeks, the warmth and hospitality of the staff and residents was so on display. The family I was with was so impressed by the residents they met and the time everyone took with them on their visit. I love coming into the community and look forward to my next visit.

We toured the Charleston and were very impressed. The Staff and the residents were very friendly. So Happy that there was and LDS Branch of the church right there. That was one of our deciding factors. Had lunch there and the food was really good. My mother comments on how good the food is quite often.

My mother has been in independent living at Hillcrest for a year now. The staff - from the director, to the receptionists, to the kitchen, to the beauty shop, to the cleaning and maintenance staff - have treated her with the utmost respect and care. I could not ask for a better place for my Mom to live. The Hillcrest is extremely clean, serves delicious meals, and has lots of activities for her to participate in if she so desires. I am so grateful we found this wonderful place for her to live.

My wife came to be at Seven Lakes after a very unpleasant experience at another facility in Loveland. I truly believe this happened because she was meant to be at Seven Lakes and have the incredible experience she had for the last 1 1/2 years of her life. Executive Director, Cindy, exemplifies the entire staff at Seven Lakes in their INCREDIBLE caring for their residents. Their smiling faces and genuine love comes thru every visit I made there. Any question or issue I had, they were on top of immediately to solve the situation. The facility is very comfortable and cozy for the residents and the staff is so attentive reflecting the attitude from the front office. I would recommend Seven Lakes to anyone who has a family member they care about and want to see treated with love and respect.

This is a very nice and comfortable place to move your loved one to when you have to start consider senior living. My mother is doing fine here at San Clemente Villas By The Sea and I am happy with my choice to move her her it is a great place. The community looks great, no concerns regarding cleaning. And the staff has been excellent so far with all the help they have given. My mother hasn't partaken in the activities they offer, she would rather sit in the lobby with the other residents and listen to the music which is nice. The food is delicious, and my mother enjoys it as well. I would highly recommend this community because it is a comfortable place and everyone here is in good spirits.

Dad has been at Kirkwood Orange for only a short time but the experience has been remarkable! Dad is very comfortable here and adjusting very nicely considering. He is able to participate in the many activities or stay in his room and visit with a friend that comes daily to see him. The food at Kirkwood is fabulous! I had the ricotta cheese ravioli that they serve and it was delicious! They also have an exercise program for the residents to participate in daily. It is a very nice experience overall and if I had to be placed this would be the place for me!

I have been so impressed with Chancellor Gardens, they have been great to work with. Grandpa is so happy there. The residents are so friendly and engaging. The facility is clean and smells fresh. The activities are great and they keep the residents busy and engaged. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they love their jobs and the residents. They are very helpful and great at making the transition as smooth as possible. We are so happy to have found Chancellor Gardens moving grandpa there was the best thing for him and us.

Best place in the city! Wonderful staff, very professional and vibrant.
