[Removed] was amazing and a world of help. I really wish my father was a fit for this place but his insulin dependency was a bit of a problem...smh

The one reason why I didn’t pick this facility is that it is too big with too many people. Right off the bat, my Mother said she was overwhelmed. This is a very nice community and it’s the Cadillac of the area. All of the staff members here are nice and very professional. They were excellent in communicating with me and when we said we were not picking them, they even offered to refer us somewhere else. I would recommend this facility to other families but it is more expensive than other places.

I toured this facility when I was looking for a place for my in-laws and it was very nice. We wound up going with a different community but the price was similar to where my in-laws are now. They don’t offer 3 meals a day for the independent care, though. It was pretty clean when I went. We toured with the staff and I was able to speak with one of the residents who was very nice. They told us about how they loved it and they seemed to enjoy being there. The community seems to have good staff that is very friendly and very helpful.

This had a very homey feeling. A little to vertical for us though. The location wasn't good for me. It was different and engaging. I tried the food there but seemed packaged. It was a very tight space.

This facility is amazing! It has 3 levels of care and a beautiful campus. The residents seem happy and the staff seem to know all the residents. The staff was friendly and helpful.

From the moment I walked in Huntington Terrace, I knew this was going to be the place for my mom. I told myself I would not let my mom live in a place where I wouldn't live myself. Huntington Terrace is clean, has a friendly staff and management that made the transition pretty effortless. Moving is never easy, however everyone (staff, management) didn't seem to sweat the small stuff. Assisting with moving carts, parking, maintenance help, anything we needed with the move was accommodated. My mom is still adjusting, however has made some new friends and is now engaging in some of the many activities Huntington Terrace has to offer. From my mom's point, the food is good, the staff is friendly and loves the Wii bowling. As I said, it's an adjustment for her but things seem to be going smoothly. I can't thank [Removed] enough for all her information and help with my mom's care. My brother and I know we have found the right place for my mom.

Large newer facility. Very attentive senior staff. Good mix of tenants not all disabled. Memory care onsite. Apartments nice and great location. Good meal and dining well run and one load of personal laundry a week. Nice place that got a nod from my dad and made me feel comfortable as well. Fantastic well done tour

I was looking at a couple of locations for dad to move to, but in the end I chose this community. They are so kind and very helpful, it’s fantastic. The care team is really family orientated which was a big plus for my dad and I. My dad is there as independent living so he doesn’t have nurses checking in on him every so often, but they are there if he ever needs anything or there is an issue to be taken care of. The other people living there as well are kind and very inclusive. There are activities that they offer like card games and they also have transportation services to bring residents off property to different outings. I am not sure if it costs any more, but I know that it is a service that they offer. Housekeeping keeps the facility nice and clean. They help with laundry at least once a week. Overall I would recommend this community. They have beautiful outdoor scenery as well with little chairs and tables that would overlook the mountains of Colorado.

Overall the staff was amazing to work with. We started the paperwork on a Monday and my Mother was ready to move in that Thursday. Although she was only here for 1 week, it could not be any better. The staff was amazing. There was never anyone sitting at their desks. They would always around helping other residents and playing board games with them. The staff was always present. I could tell that this wasn’t just a 9-5 job for them. They really got involved. The nursing staff was very attentive and they gave her the care she really needed. When my Mother got really sick and was placed on hospice, the staff was always bringing my family and I food. They checked on us often and they were taking care of all of us. The staff including the managers was going above and beyond for my mom and my family. When she passed away everyone was coming into the room to give their condolences. In the last month since then, the managers have called a few times to check in on us. If my mom was still here, I know this would have been a wonderful fit for her. We really did pick the perfect place for her. I even tell my sister this would be a fun place for us to stay when we’re older as well. I would 100% recommend this community.

I toured Palisades when I was looking for different care options for my wife and it looked like the residents were living in luxury. The facility is just really, really nice. The staff seemed really helpful, very informative, and just fantastic. The people that gave me the tour really knew what was going on in the facility. The cleanliness of it was fantastic as well. Definitely a top notch place!

When I was looking for living options for my mother, I was very concerned about personal level of care. I wanted to be sure that the staff would be attentive and make my mother feel comfortable. I chose Palisades at Broadmoor Park because you could tell that the staff knew all the residents there. They approached each one, and talked to them as though they really knew them as an individual. In the Memory Care unit, [Removed] was particularly warm, caring, and personable, and she really made us feel comfortable. They have plenty of activities. The food is great, and not at all like usual hospital food. The facility itself is really an impressive, beautiful place, and I would absolutely recommend it.

My dad has severe dementia and was living with my brother out of state. It became difficult to help care for him so I had to look around for a good place for him to go. I needed something that would give me a piece of mind and then I met [Removed] with A Place for Mom. She was amazing and found Chancellor Gardens. It was the final place I was going to tour, I almost didn’t go because I thought I had my mind set on a different community. I am SO glad that I went. I realized that not only was Chancellor closer to me, but it was so much better than the previous place I had my heart set on. Every time I see my dad, he’s always smiling. Everything is always clean and tidy, the bathrooms never look messy, they help my dad get groomed, showered, and dressed and I just have no complaints about this. Everything here, from the décor to the staff, feels classy and like home. The staff is very proactive in making sure that my dad’s needs are met. Because of his dementia, he doesn’t remember how to get to specific places within the facility so they will come and get him and take him to get his food. You don’t see that these days! I love all of the girls that work there and there’s no high turnover rate. This place is so happy that even the staff likes being there! [Removed], the director, is there every night until around 7:30, which is a really long day. She even spends her Saturdays there. She’s dedicated to taking care of the residents, every time she leaves she’ll give them a kiss on the head and a tap on the shoulder to say goodbye, even with the people that are unresponsive. This woman cares even when she doesn’t have to. The food is great. They give everyone choices for each meal so they’re not all limited to the same thing. My dad wasn’t even a dessert person until he came here! They have musicians come in all the time and they’ll go out on the bus and out into the community. They even have an onsite barber. For the price you pay, the people that work here go above and beyond every single day. My dad is so happy here. I’ll leave you with this: If you think you’ve found the right place and you’re settling, give Chancellor Gardens a chance. This was the extra tour that I needed to change my mind.

My mom is here at this community and loves it. She is in the memory care part and the caregivers are nice and responsive. The food is great 3x daily and snacks too. She'll go down and watch T.V. with everyone. And the grounds are nice and neat. And the community is always clean.

I don't understand these poor reviews...my aunt has been a resident at Huntington Terrace for a few years and loves the new Manager..she said that he is much more helpful and proactive with any concerns that are brought to his attention....we are very pleased with the new management that has recently started and couldn't say anything but positive things about our experience and my aunts. Glad to see some of the "bad apples' are no longer there...

My best friend of over 40 years moved to Huntington Terrace about 8 months ago and she absolutely loves it! I visit her every week and she can not stop talking about how great it is. she loves the new manager and says he is always running around helping all the residents. He even comes in every morning a 6am to deliver the paper. He is very involved and very approachable any time she has a question or needs something. The care staff are so sweet and caring to her. she feels very welcomed and at home. I eat here with her and love the food. it is delicious. I am thinking of selling my condo in Seal Beach and moving here

My Grandfather has lived at Huntington Terrace for about a year and he loves it!...he is constantly busy with activities and just loves the food!....he said that since some of the 'bad apples' have left and the new management has come in that the place has really improved. He loves the new manager and the fact that he is always available to talk to. My grandfather has recommended Huntington Terrace to at least 2 of his friends that live closeby

My best friend of over 40 years moved here about 8 months ago and absolutely LOVES it! I come to visit her every weekend and it is so much fun. The place is so clean and the food is wonderful! The new administrator is excellent! The new management team are very committed and very loving to their residents. He is always running around the place helping all the residents. He is very and concerned about the wellbeing and care of all. I am seriously thinking of selling my condo in Seal Beach and moving here!

this is a great community for my father. We like the staff and the cleanliness of the environment for my father. The staff are outstanding and always attentive to his needs. We like knowing that he is active and doing well here with the other residents. We would recommend other families to this community for the care of a loved one.

I relocated my mother two years ago from a Midwest townhouse to the Creekside in Woodinville, WA. The last two years has been great! She loves the facility, the care and concern from the dedicated staff, and the security of being with other friends and family. The programs and activities provided give her a variety of options and other interests to pursue. No matter what the problem or the emergency that may arise, the staff has been prompt in their response and notification to family members. This place is simply ONE BIG FAMILY. Thanks to all of them for making my mom feel safe, secure and loved.

I liked this community tour. The community is very nice and clean. The staff is nice and the menu is good. My mom wanted a community closer to my home. We would recommend this community for other families to tour for the care of a loved one.
