We were very impressed with Dale Commons. When we walked in the door there was a sign Welcoming [name removed]! A very nice touch. [name removed] was really pleased. Then he discovered he knew [name removed], Sales Manager. We had a lovely lunch with him at the facility and had time with [name removed], Director of Assisted Living, about what is available and how we can get other help. It was quite obvious that the residence were enjoying their meal with a restaurant style service and friendly staff. The person who operates the gym and is also a personal trainer spent some time with [name removed] talking about his limitations and how she could work with him. The facility was clean and the apartment was really nice. Price was comparable to others. This one is at the top of [name removed] list at the moment.

Friendly staff and always helpful. Excellent service. For me a great location and the main driver for me.

The staff is phenomenal. My dad has required additional attention due to his decreasing health. [name removed] came to the hospital with a signed card from the staff. She said "we can't wait to have you home." It was very endearing and a HUGE morale booster. I've been called and kept in the loop constantly. The med staff, particularly [names removed] take excellent care of my Dad. It has been a huge blessing to our family to be part of the Almond Heights family!

From the moment I previewed Huntington Terrace, I knew it was where my Mom needed to be. Lucky for us, there was an opening at the right time. From the Memory Care director, to the caregivers, to Med Techs, receptionists, dining hall staff, house cleaners, maintenance staff ....all of the staff at Huntington Terrace are kind and professional. Every request is heard and every need met. The facility and rooms are clean & well take care of. I am very happy that this is where my Mom calls home. I know she is safe and cared for with respect & dignity. I visit frequently, most often unannounced, and the care is always the same, exceptional!

I reviewed more than 50 senior residence options with my parents. Northgate Plaza ranks among the finest and compares favorably with properties that cost twice as much or more. Recent renovations focus on relaxing colors of the sea making the building clean, cheerful, and fresh. Family is always welcome; the dining serves a revolving, respectable menu. I've been pleased with staff friendliness, attention to residents, family, and each other. Good communications make a smooth operation; Northgate Plaza gets that right. The new transit options coming to Northgate make Northgate Plaza well-situated to take advantage of Seattle's downtown without having to live in the middle of it.

What do I like about the Firs? There is a lot to like. The location is beautiful. The building is surrounded by tall pine and fir trees, making a great view from each apartment window. In the fall the deciduous trees turn orange to add variety. The interior hallways repeat the natural colors for a pleasant mood. The Firs is a community, and what is especially nice is that the community is roughly equal in married couples, single women and single men. There are a lot of opportunities to socialize and to participate in activities: meals, games and discussion groups. The food in the dining room is good and the menu has lots of choices. The young men and women who serve us are pleasant and make the experience enjoyable. The weekly housekeeping service and the maintenance service is a wonderful addition: the staff help keep us comfortable and happy. Most of us no longer drive and appreciate the excellent bus service. The bus takes us to medical and dental appointments, banks, shopping, church services and community events. The bus also goes to the library (there is also a library in the Firs). Regular trips to the Olympia Farmers' Market are a great outing. I made the perfect choice when I selected the Firs as my home eight years ago.

We visited this assisted living facility and liked it a lot, though didn’t come here since my Dad decided to stay in New Mexico. Very nice, cheerful and supportive staff. It felt like a welcoming community, with activities listed daily. I think my Dad would have been happy here.

My Grandma Loves this place, gives her a feeling of independency, and she really enjoys the community events! Absolutely recommend this community!

Went here and will be considering it. Did enjoy the tour and was able to get some answers to questions. Still checking out some places in the salt lake area on Monday.

I cant say enough about the care and assistance our family has received while working with the staff at Cottonwood Creek. They have truly become friend of the family and have been a great source of knowledge while have applied for assistance programs. The facility is well kept and activities are well planned and carried out. Its nice to have so many people on our team, helping with my mothers care.

The Firs has all the amenities that you could ask for but the biggest thing that sets The Firs apart from the others is the respect shown, friendliness and the communication from the staff to each one of us. Especially all of our young folks that work in the dining room they are absolutely amazing. Another thing that is unique to The Firs is that it is located in the heart beat of Olympia and next to all of the services a senior could ask for such as all of our doctors, the hospital, and the pharmacy. I love to walk and it is just a minute and a half to walk to my doctor's office. Speaking of loving to walk, The Firs graciously granted the city the right to build an Emergency Access to the Chehalis Western Trail so not only our they serving the community at large but it makes for a great walk to take with my wife. In our time here we have seen that the ownership MBK Senior Living is very responsive to our needs. The leadership team at The Firs is excellent and sets the example of leadership.

I just need to say this and let everyone know. My daughter [name removed] looked at all the local communities and The Firs always came out on top in every way. I thoroughly enjoy the activities like Ted Talks, Musical Performers, and the monthly committees like Food Talk, Maintenance Talk and Chat with [name removed]. All three maintenance men are amazing and get whatever I need done so quickly. The hair dresser is great and is so convenient just down the hallway from my apartment. All of the people here are wonderful, everyone has a smile and are always so positive and happy. They always listen to me with such compassion and somehow they always remember my name. I feel like I belong and truly feel that The Firs is my home. In times when I lost loved ones, the shoulder to cry on and comfort given to me by the staff was wonderful and I am so grateful to all of them. It’s been one wonderful year and counting and I think The Firs would be the right choice for anyone that is looking for a place to live.

The Firs is incredibly warm feeling, my family and I looked at two or three other communities and it just felt cold, the atmosphere did not feel like home, then we walked into the Firs and it immediately felt like home. The dining room I instantly fell in love with it. My apartment is such a great place and affordable. The residents and staff immediately made me feel at home. The number one thing I can say is I feel so safe here with the residents and staff their sincerity is felt, we truly are a family. The single most important thing that sets The Firs apart from everywhere else I looked at is the people. This is just what I needed after my husband passed. The quality of the food is great and when there is something I do not want they have a list of alternate items to choose from. I could not ask for anything more. I would recommend anyone to choose the Firs as their next place to live. This has been my wonderful home for four years going on five years now.

The staff at the firs has made all the difference for our family. I’m so thankful for their kindness and willingness to help during this transition for our family. My dad is very happy with his new place.

Moving our family member into an assisted living facility was not an easy decision. Once we toured multiple homes in our area, we were drawn back to Dale Commons more than once. Our mother is very happy there, well cared for and worries about nothing. She tells us often that she would recommend Dale Commons to anyone of her friends looking for somewhere to live once they were not able to live alone. she truly enjoys being there. We do not have to worry about her care. She loves the food there too.

My sister’s and I toured Estancia del Sol today, looking for right place for a sister. We found wonderful staff, at Estancia del sol, we spoke with a member of the community who said the meals and meal options were great. There are many social activities,. The Studio and 1 bdm apartments are good sizes. Their tour guide was able to answer all our questions. Oh, and this place was one of several places referred to us by A Place For Mom. [Name removed]

I love this place. I'm treated very wonderful and the staff is excellent. Above average.

Would not want to live any other place. Food is great!
