My wife was at this location for 16 months. She was always clean and well cared for. I visited every day and I never once observed any resident be abused or disrespected. My mother was at Muirwood for almost 1 year before passing in June 2019. She received amazing personalized care through life and at time of death. She was peaceful and full of joy there. All her needs were met and so were mine as a family member. I am grateful to all the staff.

I loved this place the first time I came in with my daughter and had a tour of it. The employees are so friendly and you could tell they loved all the residents and each other. The food is way above what I expected and the cooks and wait-people are also so friendly and call you by name.

After 3 years of living here I have come to truly appreciate the care given to residents and the very friendly and respectful way we are greeted and treated. The CNA staff and all caregivers are great and have cheerful personalities. Dining room is great in all ways of service. Our servers are pleasant and helpful especially to those of us who need more help!

I went to 6 senior living center and checked them out. I went to the Charleston first because I have never heard a bad word about them. [Name removed] offered a trial run in their furnished display studio. I rented it for 30 days and fell in love with the FOOD, the RESIDENTS, the ACTIVITIES, the CHURCH activities and I fell in love with all the EMPLOYEES as well. I live here now!!!!!!!
