We rented an apartment for my mother-in-law. Unfortunately she passed away before she was able to move into the community. Everyone was very kind and helpful during this process. [name removed] director of sales was extremely kind and helpful.

The place looks wonderful. I don't know if they offer the level of care my father needs. I would love to move him there if he is accepted

The friendliness of the staff members and their care services would be higher than 5 stars. We have not been able to eat the meals ourselves but our mother-in-law seems to really enjoy the meals and that she looks forward to them. When it comes to the activities they are doing the best they can, every time we come to visit they have the residents engaged with singing or group chats. The value for cost is really good, we do feel we are getting a good value for the money. We feel that our mother-in-law is very safe and well cared for.

The community is a smaller community I felt like our love didn't get lost in the shuffle. The community is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We chose Almond Heights at the time because of the facility itself, we went and toured many places and we felt that this was one of the classiest places especially for the money. They were also wiling to work with us and were accommodating. We had her in the memory care side, but the assisted living side seemed to be pretty open and close to everything next to stores so great location. I would recommend to others looking.

The management and staff were just amazing. Every staff member has gone above and beyond for our loved ones. The community is very clean and neat. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience.

Our families experience has been good so far, the community is very clean and well kept. The staff members are very lovely, the care takers are very lovely and are absolutely more then willing to work with you. We are just relieved our loved one is in a safe place.

Love this place. It is light, bright and very friendly. It feels like independent living. There is a tiny laundromat on each floor, so picky people like Mom can do their own laundry. Nice grounds, too.

Of all the places we toured, this one was my favorite. It was a very nice place. The food was good, and the staff was great. They continued to keep in touch with us after we had been in. The rooms were large, and it was clean.

I have lived here for 8 1/2 years. I stay busy with my friends, and I like the food. It is nice to not have to grocery shop, prepare the meal and clean up after. I love my room because it is very large and it has a nice view with a balcony. The staff are all very nice, and I know that I am supported here.

My father has lived at Northgate Plaza for nine years. He has enjoyed the friendly kind staff and his friends, the comfort of a pleasant apartment, and activities such as music, anagrams, and parties. We are very happy with the continual care and support he has received and always feel welcome. We have appreciated the meticulous protocols with Covid-19 and the extra steps staff has taken to reduce the residents' isolation. Northgate Plaza is conveniently located by stores, the library, a park, and a hospital. We highly recommend this warm caring place.

Definitely the front runner so far. Beautiful grounds, FABULOUS menu--which bodes well as tasty food is my mom's #1 requirement (I know, difficult to meet). We wanted a smaller facility but as we move through the process, we learn that smaller facilities often come with less amenities/flexibility/options. Mt. Tabor is large-ish, very clean, has the most organized staff and procedures that we've seen and seems like a country club the whole family might like to visit. The price includes only one meal a day--they assume independent living folks will make most of their meals, or buy them at the restaurant. [name removed] was very knowledgeable, heard us and in talking it out, we discovered my mom might not need assisted living at all. The emphasis at Mt Tabor is definitely have it your way, let's keep folks living as independently as possible--until they really need help. I'm totally in agreement with that philosophy. This place is in many ways like the Stafford in LO, but without the fancy pomp and snottiness. Folks seem both professional and down to earth. High marks.

We chose Northgate Plaza because I was impressed with the staff, they were helpful and continue to be helpful. They got to know my mom and her individual needs. The apartment sizes here were also very nice. My mom enjoys the meals, they have a dining room and they have a choice on entrees to choose from on the menu. If you need it delivered they can do that as well. Overall it is really a good experience for her and I would recommend to others looking.

We toured this community and it was a very nice community. I have a pet and they did not have a patio area so the community did not fit our needs.

The Commons on Thornton is just a wonderful place. My brother came in needing a lot of care and is doing really well now and he loves it here. The staff members have gone above and beyond for him and for all of the residents that are here. They are all very caring and we are really happy with our choice. I would recommend them highly.

During the months our loved one was there we thought they did a great job. We were able to eat quite a few meals together and we though the food was good and the activities were good until they had to shut them down. We thought the value was good and competitive with ours in the area. The staff members stood out to us, the cleanliness of the facility stood out to us, and the dining experience really stood out to us.

We chose The Firs because of the amazing care, the outstanding staff members, and they really went above and beyond. They were always checking on her for me even when they didn't have to. The meals provided were great, the food that I saw looked chef prepared. I really like the location of the facility, they are close to a lot of stores so I could shop and take things to my mom if I needed to. It is in the trees so it is beautiful scenery. I wish they had assisted living and my mom would definitely still be living here.
