The staff is very professional and at any time you are able to get ahold of a staff member. They return calls back within an hour and keep us well updated. Communication is a top priority. I am very happy with the service and I would recommend this community to others

My mother has been living at Maplewood at Darien for the past 18 months, and as we have all endured hardships since the pandemic, I must say that Maplewood has handled this delicate situation with the utmost care and integrity. The staff is professional, and the facilities are very clean.

We realized that my father-in-law could no longer care for himself at home. From the minute we walked into Maplewood at Brewster we knew that this was the right place for him. We were given a wonderful tour, had all of our questions and concerns answered and my father-in-law was able to see a room upstairs in assisted living that he liked. His room was close to the dining room and fireplace where we'd often see him sitting and talking with others. Later my father-in-law was moved to currents as he needed more support. To say that we were extremely comfortable in both settings would be an understatement. The nursing staff were amazing, calls were always made to us if they had any concerns and when he needed hospice services they were in to see him consistently. He happily celebrated his 98th birthday with us and staff in February. All staff we interacted with were amazing and we were so happy that he had many people both staff and those who lived there he considered his friends.

After a great deal of searching through 2019, Dad finally convinced Mom to give Maplewood a try, and they moved in [date removed]. Little were we to know what was to come in 2020. After a smooth move in experience they settled right in to enjoy the new living quarters. When the lockdown began, we were very concerned about having our high risk parents in a community facility of any sort. But with [name removed] at the helm, all of the incredible staff and administration at Maplewood not only rose to the occasion, but exceeded all expectations and addressed every concern. When we lost Dad eleven months later (not due to Covid!), again the incredible staff came together to help us through the hospice process and to care for us all as their own. We truly felt a part of a community. As Mom continues to inhabit her 'wee apartment' in safety and comfort through the remainder of the lock down and emergence, we remain convinced that there isn't a better place that she could be.

My Mom lives at Maplewood and she loves it. Through the Covid Covid crisis, the Staff kept my Mom and the rest of the residents safe. There are no words to thank them.

Four years ago, I helped my wife make one of the most difficult decisions of her life. Upon realizing her mother could no longer live alone, we began the search for an assisted living facility. Maplewood Stony Hill was the second facility we toured. As soon as we got into the car, we both agreed this was the place. We both felt the environment, decor and staff were warm, friendly and inviting making it feel, "just like home". We were extremely concerened about the sudden change for my mother-in-law but management was extremely accomodating and attentive to helping make the transition to be smooth & successful. For the nine months my mother-in-law resided at Stony Hill we were always comfortable in the knowledge that she was getting the best of care. Staff was always on hand to help with any requests or needs. I feel Maplewood is the best choice for anyone who has a loved one with dementia. My wife and I will always be very grateful.

My father was living out of state and we needed to find a place for him to live so he could be closer to our family. The staff at Mayflower Place took care of everything -from arranging transportation to the Cape to making sure he had a cell phone to use until he got his telephone squared a way. Everyone is friendly and the apartments are very nice. They even have a washer/dryer in the apartment!

If you are looking for the best senior living place on the Cape , then look no more. Maplewood exemplifies everything you need and want! Their care is second to none and they make it their mission to get to know all their residents and ensure they are happy. My dad was a resident recently and I am beyond grateful for the care he was provided with. The staff at Maplewood Stony Hill has been a Godsend for us as we struggled with the decision to move a family member into assisted living. From the first contact through the move in process and now follow through after move in, the staff has helped us and cared for us in every way imaginable. It is clear the staff is very knowledgeable on how to help a family with the transition to dementia care assisted living but, even more importantly, they have a well developed program that helps the residents with a 360 degree view of care. I highly recommend contacting the Stony Hill management team and asking for their guidance and help. I think you will quickly realize that there is a passion for dementia care at Stony Hill.

Maplewood is very welcoming. You don't feel like a stranger; All of the staff are great, and the residence is amicable. There is always something new at Maplewood. They provide engaging activities, and their menu is divine. I highly recommend Maplewood to anyone looking for work or finding a home for their loved ones.

Amazing community! My family member has lived here for several years and have had the best experience we moved in from another community and it was the best move we could have made.

In the memory care program, they work really hard to engage the residents and come up with activities for them. During the last year with covid, they have bent over backwards to allow family in when it is safe. They have been really good about communication and updating families. They also have a big outdoor fireplace, so we can meet mom outside to sit out there. They are also very good with using technology, they took us on a virtual tour so we could see it the best we could. It has been a good experience so far and I would recommend them.

My mom has been a resident at Maplewood Stony hill for almost 4ys, and we could not be happier. The entire staff from the minute you walk in the door is friendly and informative. Communication is so important and I never hesitate to address any concerns knowing I will receive a quick response and resolve. The nursing staff is wonderful, always gentle and calm. The CNA's and staff that have worked with my mom treat her with respect and love. During this crazy year of dealing with Covid-19, it's hard to think of your loved one, especially with memory care issues, having to deal with not seeing family. Despite the needed diligence of strict restrictions and protocol, the staff remain caring and loving keeping my mom and others feeling safe and comfortable. Maplewood at Stony hill has brought much comfort and peace to our family knowing that she is in a beautiful, clean safe, loving, environment.

Maplewood at Newtown is WONDERFUL. They are the best and you cannot find any better. I am a nurse practitioner and my husband is a doctor and we would highly recommend them to others who are looking.

After looking at several other options, we selected Maplewood at Stony Hill for my mother because of the beautiful community, the incredible food offering, the fact that the entire facility is dedicated to memory care, and mostly because of the people there. Every time I speak with my mother she tells me "how nice everyone is" and I agree. My mother is a watercolor artist who used to paint every day. One day five years ago, she stopped painting. While I tried over an extended period of time, I could not get her to paint again. The dedicated staff at Maplewood not only got her to paint again, they got my mother to give painting lessons to her friends there! I would never have been able to give my mother such high quality care, even with full-time help, if she were still at home, especially during the pandemic. From on-site doctor's visits, dentist appointments, salon visits and in-apartment physical therapy sessions, my mother is getting complete and personal care by some of the most wonderful, dedicated, professional, and well trained people I have ever met. The Associates at Maplewood at Stony Hill have gone to great lengths to get to know my mother personally in order to provide her the best care possible.

Our experience has been fantastic, they have truly been amazing. We have nothing but the best to say about them, they contact us anytime with any concerns. Being in a health care provided and working in long term care facilities. They treat their residents with respect and talk eye to eye to them. They are good with proactively taking her to the doctor and not waiting for accidents to happen. The director all the way to the maintenance team are all pitching in helping each other, they all work as a team. We are so impressed with how well the treat each other. They were taking precautions immediately back in March and did not get their first positive covid test until November, which was brought in from someone on the outside. I would recommend this place to anyone, this really is the best place possible.

My mom moved into maplewood almost 2 years ago. It was the best move we could have ever made for her and all of us. We have such peace of mind knowing she is there. Not only is it beautiful, but the people that work there are such special people. We are so grateful for the care and compassion that the staff at Maplewood have for our mother and our entire family.
