Maplewood Senior Living

I recently toured the Maplewood and the grounds are beautiful, the staff very welcoming and open to all questions. Definitely high on my list as my family begins it's search for a home for my father. Thanks for your open hospitality and hope to see you in the future!

In his 90th year, my Dad has really enjoyed meeting other residents and participating in the great activities provided at Maplewood of Weston. He loves the healthy food, and the challenge of exercise classes. Amazingly, Dad has made friends with a Maplewood resident who went to his same high school in NY. The management has been attentive to our personal concerns and the fine tuning of his care plan. Dad is especially fond of Maplewood’s new leader who has been very kind to us all with his personal attention. I recommend Maplewood and look forward to Dad’s future there.

Thirs facility is really clean and the staff members are very nice and friendly. I visit this place at least twice a week and I have always found it neat and welcoming. I’m 100% sure in few years that’s where I’ll reside.

Clean, friendly & caring staff!

Our 94-year old mother and father experienced a life-changing medical situation that necessitated moving them (reluctantly) from a large colonial home in the suburbs to an assisted living facility. Maplewood's front porch apartment-style layout has a cozy, neighborhood feel that made them feel less "confined" and made the transition easier. Every one of the staff, including the very hands-on director, is warm, caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable in working with the elder population. They are very good at what they do! It is very clean and bright; the food is top-notch and the dining room "elegant casual". In recent months they have been very creative in offering the quarantined residents different activities. Our father is there on his own now after our mother's passing; they have gone above and beyond to keep him and the other residents engaged. Maplewood's communication with us is terrific. After touring several facilities, Maplewood was the best value and our parents' care there exceeded our expectations. It is such a comfort to know he is in good hands and we need not be concerned.

My father moved into Maplewood’s assisted living two years ago, and is very happy. He has a spacious one bedroom, handicapped accessible apartment with a full kitchen and laundry facilities which overlooks the Charles River. Maplewood offers many beautiful and comfortable gathering spaces, including a lovely outdoor patio. The dining facility offers an array of delicious and healthy choices. My father also appreciates the underground garage, which makes it easy to come and go. Most importantly, however, have been the life-giving relationships my father has built with both residents and staff. Staff members are friendly and helpful, and there are multiple activities to participate in to keep his mind and body active. In fact, working with the physical therapist has enabled him to regain greater independence, including the ability to walk (something others had told him he would never do again). He has created relationships with multiple residents that engage his heart, mind, and soul. Finally, I am very impressed with how Maplewood and its staff have managed through the coronavirus challenge. They were “ahead of the curve” in implementing necessary protocols that enabled them to weather the pandemic without any serious outbreak. In addition, they were also mindful of residents emotional health and devised multiple ways for residents and their families to connect. I am delighted to know that my father is happy, well cared for, and nearby, and would recommend Maplewood to any of my friends or family.

Maplewood at Twinsburg was just what my family needed and has been an absolute blessing for our family. My mother fell ill early spring and was hospitalized - needed more care that what I could provide and we were recommended to this place, but Laurel Lake in Hudson. From my first call to moving her in - the process was really simply and the staff were so encouraging and supportive during a difficult time in our lives. My mother has blossomed and has made a couple of friends. I'd recommend Maplewood to others and would be happy to speak to anyone about your facility.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the Chardon Building for many years even years before Maplewood took over the building. The Building has always been one that impresses when you can see and tour the building. I must say of all these years of experience with the building and all of the previous ownership groups what Maplewood has been able to accomplish in the building is truly impressive. The sense of community and care and programming is truly unique. This building is one I recommend the most to those who ask my opinion out in the community. It is truly a must see when you are thinking about helping a loved one find somewhere that will fit their needs and they will be able to be happy.

What a beautiful community. From the fine dining to the amazing care, this place is somewhere I would love to have my parents. The staff gives exceptional care. Between maintenance and housekeeping, everything is always spotters. With all of the different activities and outings, there’s always something to do. 5 Star community, for sure!

The food was excellent, the rooms are very comfortable and well laid out. The staff was one thing that really stood out to us they were very friendly, welcoming and very supportive of the residents.

When you enter Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls everyone is very friendly and smiling. Customer service is quick and friendly. There is always multiple activities going on for the residents and any of their guests to participate in. The community is very warm and inviting. Not only does the community look good but it also smells good. I really enjoy the holiday season at Maplewood of Cuyahoga Falls from the decorations to the joyfulness and the wide variety and diverse activities. The environment of the community speaks welcome home!

We chose Maplewood at Strawberry Hill for my dad because of the staff and proximity to us. The staff seemed very confident and caring. The room sizes were adequate. The food was above average. I would recommend this community to a friend or family remember. The service was outstanding.

My mother-in-law lives happily and safely at Maplewood at Chardon. My husband couldn’t be more pleased with the atmosphere, staff and attention to every detail manifested there. The beautiful building is only enhanced by the amazing staff. My mother-in-law’s apartment is homey and easy to navigate. Her windows overlook a green space that she never tires of gazing at. The dining facilities are exceptional. Throughout this horrendous time of Covid, the administration and staff deserve tremendous appreciation. We are so grateful for all that they are doing to keep everyone safe. My mother-in-law is genuinely happy at Maplewood, her home. People have many choices for assisted living. And she looked at a number of them before deciding on Maplewood. What a terrific choice it has been for her and for our family.

Well, I thought everyone was doing a great job when I was actively able to come in the building. I'm not sure what the activities look like now, during COVID, but I understand you've got her out of the room a lot, which is good. She seems to be in quite a good mood when I talk with her.

For overall feedback, my seems to be very happy at Maplewood, loves the staff and has connected well with many of the residents. I know she has been participating in some of the activities too - hopefully more as we transition back to things post Covid19. She seems very happy! I want to thank the staff for everything you do!

My Dad seems content and I know he’s under excellent care. For that, I am so grateful to the whole team!!!!!!!! It is a MAJOR worry that I don’t have. Thank you all for everything that you all do for him.

My mom came to stay with me during this pandemic even still we know Maplewood at Newtown is her home and she was eager to go back to it. The staff took wonderful care of my father and adores my mother and they are truly family after all this time.
