Maplewood Senior Living

Maplewood at Southport is a fantastic facility in every way, the most important being their dedicated staff. At every level, my loved one is looked after with kindness and compassion. The level of expertise is unmatched by other senior care living experiences. My loved one has dignity and agency. The programming is stimulating and safe. And their Covid protocols have been incredibly effective at keeping the community sale and healthy.

In November of 2021, I toured the community and was amazed with how welcomed the staff of Maplewood made me feel. I was greeted by caregivers, a housekeeper and a nurse as I was walking through the community. The community presented well, folks were engaged with one another, people looked nice and it didn't feel like a nursing home (looked more like a hotel). The atmosphere was very inviting, lots of windows and open spaces for conversations.

Our family was able to have an in person tour and the tour experience was fine but the facility itself did not seem as use friendly as another community we were looking at.

We often refer residents who are out of our scope of care to Maplewood. We follow our residents so that we are sure they are receiving great care. Not only are our residents and their families happy but the process for move in, admissions, care and beyond is amazing.

My mother has been a resident of Mill Hill Residences in Yarmouth, MA for a year and I could not think of a better place for her to be at this time in her life. The tasteful surroundings including the great room with its fireplace, dining area with its white tablecloths and theater room are fresh, clean, comfortable and modern. The meals are top notch and the daily activities are varied and well attended. I visit her on a regular basis and I find that the management team, concierge, activities coordinator, nurses, and associates are always caring, attendant to her specific needs and positive. It is easy to give Mill Hill a five star rating and I recommend it to anyone in need of a safe appropriate place for their senior citizen loved ones.

My husband was taken very good care of. [name removed] was very patient and comforting to him. When he needed to goo the hospital she would talk and put him at ease. When he needed hospice [name removed] was very helpful and she was always there to talk to. The aides were always smiling and patient with him. Maplewood was always very clean, and the food was good and healthy. The activities are very good and the events that are held.

Great facility, neat, clean, friendly. Staff is attentive and superb. Far better than competitive facilities. Should see to believe.

Our family had an in person tour and Maplewood is a lovely place, it was our second choice and definitely a top contender. Even though our loved one felt more connection with a different community we know that Maplewood is going to be successful, the director of sales was wonderful and she has continued reaching out to us just checking in. A great option to consider.

If you are looking for a place that will take care of your love ones , this is the place. I feel the staff does a wonderful job taking care of their residents needs. I also feel that facility directors and staff really listen to the resident/families concerns and do whatever it takes to meet expectations. Very impressed !

We are extremely happy with our experience at Maplewood at Strawberry Hill. The facility is smaller and feels very home-like, but whatever you need is there. They have been wonderful to work with and we have nothing but good things to say. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I’ve been a visiting nurse at Maplewood at Weston for 3 years now and I absolutely love it. Maplewood always ensures that it’s staff, residents and visitors remain safe and healthy during the pandemic, with vigorous COVID protocols upon arriving the premises. They’re always readily available when and if needed — it’s all in all a loving, warm and welcoming environment whether it be you are re-homing a loved one or simply looking for work. Maplewood at Weston is THE BEST! You wouldn’t want to NOT become a part of this beautiful community.

My mother was a resident of this fine establishment for 3 years. She was settled in and enjoyed the activities day to day. She really enjoyed the central courtyard with the beautiful flower gardens. The food was good and she never really complained. She lived a great life into her mid 90's and my family and I are grateful to all of the caregivers that made her last few years special.

Very pleased surrounding and a happy place. Maplewood provide many activities.

I love it here! The staff the residents the food, the activities, and the amenities are all first class. His like living in a luxury resort with all the extra care I need. I'm so grateful to live in this wonderful caring community.

I was very hesitant to move my mom as i always promised her and my dad i would never move them to a facility. However if my dad was here he would be so proud of the decision i made. My mom is thriving at Maplewood and its not a facility, it is more like home. The people are wonderful they treat everyone like they are family. I am so grateful for the staff at Maplewood and the residents as well.

I am very happy living here. I moved in when it was new (about 5 1/2 years ago). Everyone here treats us with respect and makes us feel special. I like the activities, and most meals are great. It is peaceful, and there is something to look forward to each day!

The staff is incredibly caring and it is a first class community. My husband and I recently toured for a relative and [name removed] has been extremely accommodating. During the tour, we saw everything was immaculate and residents were very engaged in activities. We want the best for our family members who need memory care and Maplewood is a stellar choice.
