Manors of the Valley

This is the first and last place you or your loved one need to go. The care and genuine concern of the owner and staff is wonderful. My loved one enjoyed the food, and was ecstatic of community events such as wine nights going on.

[name removed] gave me a very detailed virttual tour of the facility. Based on the establishment, and the genuine concern I felt from the staff and residents, I feel this would be a good fit for my father.

I already have recommended this facility to a few people. They are very friendly. Laundry is provided for, which is unheard of. And transportation is also provided for. We've met our loved one at doctor appointments where they dropped him off, and the drivers have always been nice and delivered him safely. They communicate very well with the family. We've had an experience where he was before where we knew nothing. We weren't kept informed, and then a day and a half before they wanted to discharge him, then we heard from them. That has not been the case at Saucon Valley. So we're very happy with the care he gets here. He's made a few complaints about the food, but you're not going to like each and every meal you get. We haven't been allowed inside to the resident rooms yet, but they should be opening that up for visits soon. The common areas where we've visited have always been very clean and very nicely decorated. They people who are staffing that area are very polite and very nice. I know they offer activities, but our loved one doesn't participate in them. It's an excellent value here. It's been a good experience. My loved one has said that if he had to go somewhere, he's happy it's here. And that means a lot to us.

We toured this community and the tour was very nice. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. The rooms were pod-like and I think the building was a school at one point.

The staff is very friendly and the owner is very helpful and wonderful. Communication could be better between the staff and me. I would like to be kept more in the loop. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

After talking to the administrative staff, Whitehall Manor was able to take my aunt right away and made the transition extremely easy for us. I went in to see the facility and I was very impressed with the room size. It had a big walk in closet, bathroom, and it was furnished. She was on a vegan diet. but was very happy with the meals that were provided. We were able to make appointments to go and visit with her, which is something we could not get around here. If you are looking for a facility for a loved one and you want excellent care, communication, and want to see them. Whitehall Manor is the place and the cost is very reasonable.

All interactions were wonderful with the community. Due to the pandemic restrictions, I was unable to see my loved one in person. The staff were receptive to me calling and checking on my loved one.

Everyone at Saucon Valley has been super helpful, they are all very accommodating, understanding and patient with our loved one. Our loved one really enjoys the meals, he says the food is good. His room was really nice, almost similar to an apartment style, they set it up very nice.

The girls are wonderful in their duties concerning the patients in my wife's [name removed] ANED. [name removed] is exceptional!

Excellent!! [name removed[ has received excellent care from everyone at Whitehall. [name removed] treated me like family there all he has gone through (even many meltdowns) always a kind word, a smile, or a hug! Very pleased with everything. I would highly recommend. Everyone is very professional.

My loved one has been a resident for 2 years. She always just clean and dress nicely. She enjoys the food. She always said complimentary things about the stuff. I feel she is very comfortable there.

We selected Saucon Valley Manor after to touring many other Assisted Living locations in Lehigh Valley area. We wanted our mom to live where folks cared as much as her as their own family. Additionally, everyone seemed happy to be there. Last but not least, every room and community areas were spotless. Every request mom has is addressed timely. She is very happy!!

I like everyone.

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

My mom is still resident. We moved her from a nearby assisted that was much more expensive and while very upscale, the stall turnover made our head spin. Whitehall just gives my mom more fun. The staff is amazing and responsive. If there is a perception out there that senior centers "don't care" - Whitehall Manor is the exception!!

Parkland Manor is a newer facility, its very elegant, very opening and has a warm welcoming feeling to it. The rooms are very modern, clean, spacious and very private. The dining area is spectacular, it has a sky light and a beautiful crystal chandelier, it is just fantastic. They have bingo and arts and crafts for the residents to participate it. Our loved one truly loved the activities they have.

This place is awesome! The staff were very attentive to our needs, and were happy to talk to us about anything. The only hiccup was the transition was from my loved one's doctor to the doctor in the community. We were able to work this at quickly. The room was intended to be in the memory care. The loved one started in the regular unit. The community was able to evaluate her and noticed she didn't have a wondering issue, and that allowed them to place her on the regular unit. The room my loved one was placed in had an outside door, but the community was able to keep the outside door locked. The room was very bright and cheerful. They allowed us to move things and out and hang things on the wall for us.

My mother is very happy living here. She enjoys having a private room, not having to do chores, and coming and going as she pleases. She enjoys the musical activities she says the staff are kind.
