Only have assisted living.

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far I have not been impressed. Nothing has been bad, but it is definitely not my favorite. I'm hoping things improve as my loved one settles in.

They need more staff, they just were not able to give the care and attention we wanted for him. It wasn't a good experience for us. We chose it because it seemed to be very nice. His room was not cleaned as much as I would like, the common areas are pretty. As far as the assisted living it's a nice place but the memory care side was not as good.

The activities are excellent. It’s a good community. My only complaint is that there is no communication with me. All of the effort is on the families if they want to get information. My loved one seems to like the food.

First place we toured. Facility was nice, but there seemed to be a lot of levels of care. We wanted more of a real assisted living. Staff was nice and price was average. Just wasn't the right fit for my mother.

There are different areas of the staff, cleaning people, aides - I can tell you that 100% of the people there M-F are fantastic, the part time sucks. We have trouble with one of the nurses giving my mother her medicine, and she is not real nice to my mother about it. When I am paying so much per month I would want more respect. Their follow up on paperwork, we have had nothing but trouble. Now, it has been corrected, but she has been there quite a while and it was just straightened out. They have very much going on, it is clean, so the I would rate the activities quite high.

Although the facility is beautifully decorated and appears to be very clean, there is a lack of integrity within the administration. The floor staff have very little training in dealing with seniors and issues related to dementia. Employees are told to cover up their mistakes on the medicine charts. This facility makes sure everything looks very nice, but underneath the charm, there is a lack of genuine care for the seniors living there. Make sure your family member is VERY high functioning, as there is a very low tolerance for any behavioral issues.

The care is questionable, the problem is that not being there and having a mother that's going through early to mid-stages of dementia, it's hard to tell what she says is true or what they say because I'm just not there. I see evidence of some of the things she's complaining about being true and the fact that the medical assistance take the easiest course of action because they can't force the resident to do anything but they're letting a 90 year old with dementia tell them what to do. I had the director of nursing in there and they're trained professionals and they have to have a certain makeup about them to do what they do, they know the right things to say and it certainly seems like they care, but then other times I don't see anything getting done. If I had one thing to address, instead of me calling or going in and complaining when I should be spending time with my mother, I think they should have some sort of 6 month review, or sooner than 6 months, to ask me how things are going. When you're there and there's something wrong, you're not really in the right frame of mind to be positive about the criticism you're giving.

This was really nice, and I really, really liked the girl who is the sales person there. It was quite a far distance from home and the trip I made I was stuck in traffic so it was frustrating and the fact that one of the rooms that was open was a double room so she would have had a roommate and that didn't seem like a good fit for mom.

This place was much better, it was a nice facility, the only thing that swayed me away from this one was they have a very low population of men but they had a bigger outdoor garden area that they could sit in.

We visited here on Friday, 3/29. Apartments are very small and availability very limited. No porches.

Visited today with the Marketing person and she gave me a tour. This place is the dimentia care unit and located directy next to the Victorian Manor place. I do not require services from this establishment.

Lovely home, but the dementia area was too small and not enough walking area.

I liked the rooms OK. Many activities for residents. Not as well maintainted as another property I looked at, which was cleaner. My brother noticed this as well.

Visited a month ago. The facilities are really quite good.

called to speak with Director before the tour, and to ask a few questions. A nurse answered the phone, said director wasn't in. When I asked if she could answer a couple of q's, she said she would be glad to if not in a crisis situation, which she was. Kind of scary that a nurse in that situation was the only one to be able to answer the phone. Short handed????? maybe not where we want to look . . .

I think that the nurses are nice, but the administration seems to operate more for their own convenience and is often unhelpful

I would say not to go to this community.They have activities at this community but nothing really stimulating for the residents. Changes are being made.

Please be careful with this facility and read the small print. Had a family member stay here and when she passes away, they charged us over $1,200 because we didn't provide a 2 week notice on us cancelling. SHE PASSED AWAY. When she arrived at the hospital they acknowledged she was severely dehydrated. Just saying please please please make sure you read all the fine print before signing up a friend of family member for this facility. Bad way of doing business!
