We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice looking community, and would definitely be our second choice. It was clean, well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly. Unfortunately they did not have any openings at the time of our tour.

It's pretty good. Sometimes they aren't as attentive and responsive as I would like. I don't get a calendar of events, and I don't see a whole lot of activity. The food was about average. In general they are doing okay. She is walking better now, and is better cared for. There really aren't any choices for the meals, it's a meal what they are having is what they are having. I liked that it was all on one floor with the rooms around and the stuff to do in the center. Not as institutional and it was a little bigger.

my mother loved the staff. the rooms are a little small and my mother may be a little higher functioning than the other residents. my mother liked this one because of the staff.

My mother has been a resident of Savannah Court for 2 1/2 years. Very satisfied. I have recommended this facility to several people looking for a place for their parents. I want to recognize the outstanding nursing staff and especially the marketing staff, Stephen and Carol.

Our experience with Morningside has been pretty good so far -- the staff is incredibly friendly, it is clean, and the food is great. My concerns lie mainly with the activities. There is a calendar of activities that is posted, but they never seem to stick to that schedule. The timing of a lot of the activities seems strange, and it seems like the medical technicians are more involved with the activities than the actual activities director. Otherwise, great place!

We use the memory care unit. The staff is really great. They’ve treated me really well. They’re doing some activities all the time. The staff has a difficult job and they do a terrific job. There is a wide range of health levels in the residents.

They keep the community clean, and the staff is friendly. They are pretty good about responding to requests or concerns. They have a pretty good variety of activities, for all different interest types. There really isn't anything I would like to see improved or done better. We haven't had any complaints about the food, or any trouble with the laundry. We chose them because the staff was very friendly, and they had the best value.

They have lot's of activities. It's a great friendly staff, but occasionally you may have to follow up on minor action items. They are overall a great place. They keep it clean and they are comparably priced.

I have a relative that has been at Horizon Bay for about 2 months now. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The facility is always well maintained and very clean. They provide weekly activities; trips, bingo, entertainment and transportation to shopping. The food is very good with a variety to choose from. They also offer other services to the residents ie; medication management, escort service, etc. at an additional charge. They have a full time nurse on staff, and also offer therapy if needed.The price is comparable to some other places we looked at, however, the additional services fees can be a bit pricey. All of the residents are always clean and well dressed and they seem to be very happy. Overall, we are very pleased with the accommodations and my relative seems to be very happy there.

The staff were friendly, and the facility itself is beautiful. However we ended up touring another that really won us over, so we did not select this community in the end. I do think they would have done a great job and they are definitely worth a look!

This is a nice looking, smaller community, and so far they have done a great job caring for our loved one. The facility itself is nice looking, although the furnishings and carpets have some visible wear and tear and could use an update. The staff are all very friendly and caring, and they keep the place clean and the residents looked after and entertained.

Jennifer is wonderful!! Very nice facility. Met many staff people and some residents. Liked the independent apts better then the assisted living. Toilets were low which is a problem. Very close to Drs and hospitals. Nice area of Savannah plus close to shopping. Am considering this one.

They do a good job here, overall. It is a well kept, clean place, and the staff have been very friendly and professional. One area I'd like to see them improve in is the level of interaction between the staff and the residents. It seems like much of the time the residents are just left sitting around, and I would like to see them more involved in activities.

Overall this place does a fairly good job. The staff are friendly, and they keep everything nice looking and clean. One issue I noticed, and it is something I noticed at a lot of places, is just a lack of good communication in general, between the staff, residents, and families.

They are one of the better ones that I have seen. They very much try to accommodate you. They try to do whatever they can; I had an incident with my mom and they went above and beyond and took care of it. I was really impressed. They take them out to grocery stores, church, doctors, and shopping. I'm very happy!

Our loved one was here for quite a while, and we liked it very much. The full-time nurse was especially fantastic. It was a lovely place, and the care they provided was very good, but unfortunately the price kept increasing and eventually was too high. We were very happy with the service here, however the new location we chose had really outstanding care that made the care here a bit less impressive, especially in comparison to the pricing.

I looked at this place when I was searching for senior housing. It looked nice enough, but it was also very expensive. I also got the feeling that it the staff and residents were all a bit stuck-up. It wasn't for me.

My biggest beef was that it was HUGE! It's like a [removed] army barracks there, when you look at from the street you think its cozy but its a massive building, it keeps going and going. The rooms were beautiful, but I knew that mother wouldn't like it because of massive size of place. There were obviously a lot of people that live there, though, so to each his own.

this place is very clean. no smells. very nice friendly staff. small rooms. but nice. all usual activities. very nice outdoor courtyard area with a large bbq grill! they have barbecues frequently in summer. nice. reasonable prices. 83 rooms. one very unique perk that I find very appealing is their dining room opens a 7:30 am and stays open all day. all residents can go to eat any meal at any time. all day. if they want breakfast at 4 in the afternoon...they can! how nice! no other place has that! great idea.

I was impressed by the facility and the staff, but it was quite a distance from our home.
