So far everyone has been very helpful and pleasant. The staff has been very good at making sure the patient is oriented and comfortable. All is good so far.

I like this community very much. There are a few things that hold it back but you will find that every where you go trying to live in this environment. Cold food is my biggest complaint but I had a friend in another community and they experienced the same thing so I think that this is often. They have activities like bingo, chair exercise periods, we had a mothers day tea and we were able to bring guest. We also had a cinco dey mayo party and they served alcohol free pina colada and more. The activities director here is really good. I think that this community has done a pretty good job.

The people were personable and it was a smaller community. This wasn't the right fit for my loved one.

I have just returned home to Indiana from a visit to my sister at The Reserve at Towne Lake. She has been a resident there for 15 months. The staff there is very attentive to the needs of all their "family" at The Reserve". The facility is very clean, beautifully decorated and the activities keep" all on the move". The residents are treated with respect and their skills are maintained to their level to provide them with the satisfaction that "I can do that". They provide nail and hair care, plus pictures of the "family" involved in activities, so I can see my sister on a regular basis and know she is in good hands. She recently had a health issue, and the staff was swift and confident in getting her the care she needed. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers for such wonderful and thoughtful care they give. The residents are very friendly too! They all smiled and waved as I passed by them.

For the most things are going very well. One thing I would recommend is that they should put a camera out front to see whose there to visit instead of asking questions every time. That way if it is a frequent visitor like myself, they can just let you right inside. I would also like to get a report emailed to me of things that are being done medically. I get a bill but it just has the price and does not show what was actually done so it would be nice to have an itemized bill just so I can see what exactly the charges are for.

there are so many activities available for any residents who are able to join in them. all of the employees from the director on down are totally ready and willing to help us in any way possible.

new people moving in all the time. new care givers need to be increased, also as many people in wheelchairs and on walkers require extra attention. I see caregivers doubling up in other areas such as severs in dining room. elevators - important to be fixed properly and immediately when there are disabled residents. I do appreciate living here and help where I can, but I would like to know what I can be allowed to do. meals are excellent.

great employees - great concern about constant elevator breakdowns!!! not enough insulation in building, showers slant outward! great cleaning staff. wonderful cook! staff needs more help!

I'm very happy here, and I think others would like it too. It's beautiful and clean. Everyone is very friendly. There have been a lot of changes going on, but I can see so much room for improvement. With some changes, they could very well be a five out of five. We have a new director, and I haven't gotten to know her just yet. The staff in general is changing so frequently, and they're very short-staffed. But everyone who is here is very nice. We've had three different cooks since I came, but the food is getting better over time.

The Manor is willing to work with dietary restrictions when needed, and with a doctor's order. The staff are friendly. The Manor works well with hospice. My other family members are impressed with the community and the family thinks it is bright. This would be a good place for someone with early memory care needs. The staff are very patient with my loved one.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and ease of access as far as location. They have all sorts of activities, everything under the sun from bingo to art class to singing to church activities to exercise and mobility classes. I do think that communication could be improved with family members who are not in state though.

This is a nice community and my loved one is comfortable here. The food could use improvement in the style and portion sizes. The residents were used to actual meals and now it is a lot of sandwiches for meals. It has been disappointing to the family and residents. I understand this might be due to lack of staff in the kitchen. The staff is pretty good about answering questions and concerns about my loved one. There are time that they don't get back to you and you have to ask your question again.

The facility seems to be well maintained. Because of the condition my mother was in, it worked out very well. She was transitioning back after having a stroke and this was the next step before having her home. While she was here she received occupational and physical therapy and was doing well. She had plenty of space to move around while she was here and had a large living space. The food staff were not very friendly at all and did not seem to be caring. We talked with them about her dietary needs and that fell flat. The everyday staff were friendly and seemed to be attentive.

I think they have been very good with covid protocols and are doing their best to keep residents safe. They have set up a rolling call the last few months where they communicate with families on where things are at within the facility with covid. Overall the experience has been a good one so far on the memory care side and I would recommend Grand Villa of Lakeland to others looking.

This community was okay, nothing special, just like a hotel and the atmosphere did not catch me much.

We've had some problems, but they're starting to get worked out. Initially we experienced that what they say they're going to do in writing doesn't happen until you force the issue. But once I have forced the issue, they've followed through. I feel like that would be with all facilities though. The staff that interacts with my loved one daily I give top ratings. Cleanliness has never been an issue, either in the common areas or in her room. Recently they even had an outside vendor come in and steam clean the rooms, which was great. And the food is excellent. They have a really good selection. And it feels like eating at a top rated restaurant.

Overall, I've been happy once we got to be on the same page. I think the staff are good. Once we started to communicate a little bit better, I've been much happier. I'm not sure if other families are just not as involved in their loved one's day-to-day as we are? I had some concerns at first. but now that we're communicating better, I'm a lot happier.

Our family had an in person tour and we would of put our loved one here but it just came down to money.

Our tour at American House Lutz was fine. The people seemed very kind. Cleanliness was not as great as the palace we chose, and the location was not as convenient for our family.
