Mother has been there for 10 weeks. She says the staff is very friendly and caring. The food is good and the facilities is very clean. I think she is being taken care of very well. I am happy that it is a Christian facility and there is a Sunday morning service for the residents.

All is well.

The caregivers do a great job here looking after our loved ones and it's very much a family feeling community!

My Mom is well cared for. Lots of activities, and she has made many friends. It is like a home. It is her home. Only comeback is she likes country cooking and that is rare but the food is otherwise good.

Very clean and bright facility. [Name removed] very helpful. May have to return and ask more questions. Top contender so far.

Everyone has been very nice to me. I have enjoyed living here.

My sister liked the facility very much. The apartments were spacious. She would like to return with her husband to see them. We talked with him and he was willing to look. If that changes with him you never know how he will be.

I haven't been here too long but since I have been here I can tell you I have met nice friends, and the employees are really nice to me.

For someone needing just memory care, this would work well.Facility is older but well maintained inside. All the garden areas we saw needed tending. Residents are engaged by staff and activities are inclusive - regardless of an individual’s ability to participate actively or cognitively.

Facility and staff both seem very nice. We think this could be a good fit. Taking Dad for a visit next week to make sure he agrees.

Mars Hill Retirement Community has been a wonderful fit for my mother. She has made numerous friends and loves the staff. The only room I see for improvement would be cleanliness. I would like to have her room cleaned more thoroughly. My family no longer has to worry if she is taking her medications or if she is eating nutritious meals. I would highly recommend Mars Hill Retirement Community to anyone.

The front office staff have been very helpful. They try to keep activities for everyone to do. The food is just fair. The maintenance group does a good job.

The place seemed to be nice. The staff was very helpful. What mostly got my attention is the folks living there seemed to be well adjusted. I saw a group of ladies polishing their nails. They were laughing and having a good time.

There really are no words to express my gratitude to Sandy at Insignia for all she and her staff did to care for my mom while she was in residence there. We had a difficult situation and they took such good care of my sweet Mother. [Name removed], the Activities Director reminded my Mother of my daughter, her granddaughter so they would often allow Mother to be with [name removed]. I was notified each time her medical situation worsened until I knew I needed to put Mother into a skilled nursing facility. I hated to leave Insignia and all the lovely people we had come to know and deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a place for an aging parent with a caring staff, Insignia is a wonderful place to be. My Mother recently passed away but she thanked me profusely for putting her at Insignia. She loved the staff and she loved her apartment. I miss all of those beautiful ladies and their caring hearts!

My mother is a current resident at Brookdale Brushy Creek. This is a very nice facility and has provided very good care for my mother. She has adjusted very well and continues to maintain her Independence with minimal assistance. However, it seems as though the morale of the staff has declined. Within the past year,as well as the past few months there has been a significant turnover in upper management and staff. It is concerning to me because it seems my mom is losing interest in participating in the daily social activities. It seems as though the facility is losing the"family feel" that attracted us to this facility. In the past the caregivers at Brookdale made a very difficult transition much easier. I hope these concerns will be addressed and the warm welcoming feeling will return to this facility.

Great facility and [name removed] was very upbeat and pleasant as were the staff that we encountered . My parents really just don't want assisted living at this time .

I loved the home-like feeling of this community. The director, [name removed] and the tour guide were very helpful. The apartments, eating area, multi-purpose room, and the library were nicely arranged. There are plenty places to go for those who live there.

My mother is at Brookdale Brushy Creek. She did not want to go to Assisted Living and made the transition very difficult. She will now say that she loves Brookdale and if she cannot be at her home this would be her second choice. She is very involved with activities and the socializing Brookdale offers. I too am very happy with Brookdale Brushy Creek. Since the facility is smaller it offers and added personal touch. The staff is very accommodating and very familiar with the needs of each resident. I personally would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for assisted living for someone.

This is the place we choose for Mom. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because we haven’t gotten moved in yet. We were able to score one of the largest rooms so she’ll have plenty of her own personal space which was important to her. There was lots of staff members around and they were all very friendly. They seemed to understand mom’s needs and appear able and willing to provide the needed care. We’ll be moving mom in a week or so only time will time. As we all know, making these decisions are hard for everyone and there is rarely the perfect place but I do hope Savannah Court will be the last move she’ll have to make.
