We chose Ashton Manor at Sugarloaf because when looking, we went to larger facilities that you had to walk far to to get to the dining room and activities area. My dad wanted something that was more confined. Ashton Manor is a smaller community and has close proximity to these things. The room sizes are EXCELLENT, they are very spacious, He had a 1 bedroom suite, he had queen sized bed, recliner, kitchen tables, chairs, a large bathroom, etc. and still plenty enough room. The best part about the community was the staff members, especially the recruiter. The staff I dealt with were phenomenal and they are what drew us into the facility. I would recommend.

We chose Atria Lutz because of the layout of the facility, it was very easy access for her to move around not having to go up and down stairs or elevators. They have several room sizes and the prices varies, she has a 1 bedroom and it is perfect size for her. I have eaten here and the food is very good. She is eating a grand majority of her meals in her room right now due to COVID. My favorite part about the community so far is the care my mother has been given and the professional and courtesy of the staff members. The line of communication to families is also phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend.

The staff was very helpful from touring all the way through the move-in process and made a difficult decision much easier. Many thanks to a great team.

My father has lived in other communities that can't come close to the Atria Forest Lake. On the level of care, professionalism, and communication is excellent.

What really stood out to us at first was the professionalism of the staff members. The rooms at this community are adequate. From our understanding the food is very good, our loved one seems to like it. We would definitely recommend this community to a family or friend.

As a home Care Professional in the area I have had the opportunity to work closely working with many different communities. I can say without any doubt at all that the care Atria provides for their residents is second to none. The benefit of being a small well established community is that you develop knowledge and experience of what works for your residents and can focus on their quality of life along with the quality of care. Highly recommend this community for any needs you may have

The care services at this community seem to be a fine, but because of COVID we have not been able to visit. There seems to be something always happening at this community, they had daily activities for the residents. They even provided physical therapy. Overall we believe we our loved one is well taken care of at this community

The staff is contentious and kind always!

My Mom has been a resident at Magnolia Manor for almost 2 yrs. I am very pleased with the caring and professional staff, the activities (in spite of COVID-19), the extremely clean environment and the responsiveness of the managerial team. She is so happy being in the community and she receives excellent care and feels loved by all. As her primary caregiver I am delighted that Magnolia Manor has remained COVID free; unlike most ALF's in our area. Prior to COVID I visited every day and had a lot of contact with all staff and felt that my Mom was in the best, safe, caring home.

Excellent in every fashion! Staff is great. Property is well managed. Highly recommend.

We chose Brookdale Sumter because they assured us that this is where my mom would be comfortable. They call me all the time and let me know how my mom is doing. They really know how to work with residents who have onset dementia. I am happy with the care she is getting. I want to tell people looking into Brookdale to give them a shot because I would not put my mom anywhere else. I would absolutely recommend the facility.

I did extensive research into Assisted Living business models before placing my Mom at Magnolia Manor Daytona Beach. The owners demonstrate that they care for their residents more than profits. Pricing is all inclusive with very few add ons. They do not increase their rates every year and accept private and public forms of payment. They have kept their facility entirely Covid-19 free. Most importantly, the staff they hire are extremely caring people. The industry is fraught with high employee turnover but they maintain a solid core of caring staff and hire new caregivers accordingly.

We are planning to have a move in date next Friday for mom and dad pending the outcome of their COVID tests and paperwork completion. We are very impressed at the ease of the whole process.

We chose this community because it was the only choice in her little town and it ended up being amazing. They took care of her in the hospice situation and they did not require her to be moved. The staff members became my mothers family and they were phenomenal loving for her and caring for her. They also were very supportive with us as a family. They kept us informed since we were not able to go in and see her. the only downfall was I do not feel the food was what it could have been. It was a lot of canned and frozen meals rather than fresh foods. I would absolutely recommend this community.

I love them and have nothing but good things to say. They do have activities but they are very limited due to COVID. My loved one doesn't participate in a lot of the activities. This is a good place for assisted living and memory care. I believe this is all they do. They are very attentive.

The food is pretty good for my loved one. The staff keep the community very nice. Matt is the head person and is pretty awesome to work. Even through COVID-19 they have tried to keep the residents active. They even let the resident's families decorate the cars and come drive by and see them.

The care services were good, but we had to pull out our loved one because he was more then what they could handle, but overall they did everything they could to care for him. They could of used just a little more training dealing with difficult people. There was always something going on at this community. There was bingo, the residents would go on plenty of little trips to Spartanburg. The staff new every resident by name, they acted like everyone was family. They went above and beyond to help the residents. We have eaten at this community, and its good. The community is beautiful, it is a really nice place. Its very open and airy. The manager at this community is a great person to work with.

What a wonderful independent senior living apartment complex. Provides 3 meals a day electric, water, cable, provided with rent. Apartments cleaned 1x per week. Complimentary sheets and towels laundered weekly. Free washers and dryers for personal uses. Activities.

If I had a parent who we were looking for, a secure place to live, and had a little bit of independence and others around that were close in age. Your parents want to remain activity in the community, I would recommend Amara Place. This is a great community and I had a few minor things. I would recommend this community, as this a good place for parents who are aging.

We have been happy with the response to covid, food services, laundry, and quick response of staff assistance. We have used the facetime visits and appreciate all the activities planned and provided on the center’s calendar. We of course are excited for when they will get off of lockdown and we are able to visit our family member and take him places. We are thankful the staff has kept his spirits up and encouraged him to be active.
