Good community with a good location. There was a bit of clutter in the hallways due to a remodel in progress.

Everybody has been really nice and it is easily accessible to get in and out. They do a great job of offering plenty of activities for residents, even though my mom doesn't participate, the staff still try to encourage her to go. They do have a pet therapy program and she does enjoy that. We have been very pleased with our experience at Carolina Gardens and would definitely recommend the facility to others.

We moved our mom here right before Christmas last year and everyone was extremely helpful in helping her get settled. As with everything in life, there was a period of adjustment. Now, 6 months later, Mom is having a super time. The activities and camaraderie have brought the life back into her. She gets up every day looking forward to whatever new is on the agenda. She can also go back to her apartment whenever she just wants a little quiet time. The employees, which have become part of her family, are great. Mom's comfort and security means the rest of her family can relax and sleep better knowing she is in good hands.

I would recommend this place to everyone! :-) Moved mom here after a bad experience with another assisted living home. American House was perfect and the the staff is awesome. Mom loved the activities, residents and dining. She was so happy and was enjoying life again. Everyone is so friendly and engaging with the residents. It meant the world to me to see her so happy. Thank you to everyone at American House!. :-)

We searched hard to find the best place for our mom and it was American House Orange City. From the first visit they made us feel we had found a home that mom could thrive and have fun. As we visited her multiple times a week we became a part of the family with our mom and the staff. From the administrative staff, medical staff, dietary, janitorial, maintenance and activities-everyone working there is plugged in, communicative, caring & understanding and ready to help. They go above and beyond to treat each resident as an individual and make a plan in a situation that best suits that family within the guidelines of their work. They held our hand through the painful process of how to make difficult choices for our mom and even through the painful goodbye. As a matter fact months and months later they are still checking in on us. There’s not enough good things we could say to illustrate how positive our experience with AHOC was for our family. Our mom, [name removed], loved her AHOC family!

The entire staff treated our Mom like she was their Mom. They welcomed us girls as family as well. Mom passed away in [date removed] and we still keep on touch with the wonderful staff. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, this is the place!!!! I highly recommend this loving place!!!

Sunabella has been an excellent facility showing love and compassion to my wife & all residents. Impressed with the activities and regular exercise programs that are provided.

I really liked Savannah Court and Cottage of Oviedo. The set up of their memory care wing was almost identical to where my loved one was moving from, so I thought it would be familiar and comfortable for her. Unfortunately it was just too pricey for the income she was making.

They have taken great care of my father.

Everyone has been extremely friendly. It expensive but not too expensive, especially for this area compared to some others that we looked at. It is also in a very good and convenient location. I would recommend Mill Creek Manor to others.

We chose this community because they only focus on memory care and the staff members really do listen to our family which is very important. They are a little understaffed at times which is why we gave the activities 4 out of 5 stars, but we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I love the community. The staff and meals are very good. I like everything the community has to offer. The staff are okay to work with if the family has questions or concerns. The meals are very good. I enjoy what they have to serve. There is no staff overnight, in case the residents need something. The community provides the residents a pendant to wear in case they need assistance. Shopping trips, games, bingo, celebrations, and more are some of the activities the community offers the residents. The apartment, utilities, laundry, housekeeping, and all the meals are included in the monthly fee. The bus is only available for the activities offered by the community. If a resident needs to go to the doctor they must find their own transportation such as a taxi.

I would recommend Rock Hill Grove to others for their loved ones. In fact I have recommended the community as I am very pleased with our experience. You can feel the caring nature by the staff in the atmosphere. It shows that the staff really care for the residents and enjoy what they are doing. The staff are very nice to work with. They are able to answer questions or address the concerns the family has about our loved one. If they don't know an answer they are good at following up with the family with the answer. Bingo, reminiscing conversations, cooking class, garden club, movie nights, field trips, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to choose from. The care, the apartment, utilities, housekeeping, transportation, and all the meals are included in the monthly fee.

The amenities are wonderful and the staff and everything is absolutely great. It is just a wonderful place. I would even consider moving to this community myself. My father loves it here at this community. I walked in and I knew right away that this was the place. They have activities like work out classes, the dinning room for meals and more for the residents to do to stay busy in the community. They also take the residents to appointments as needed.
