Meals could use a little work and they could use more of a seasoned menu. The activities are not for everyone but they do have things going on. This is a great place when you are on a fixed income and you are capable of taking care of yourself. If you were in need of more care and more monitoring on the medicines and your health this may not be the right place for you or your loved one.

When choosing a home for our mom, we visited and/or spoke with 5 other communities within a 30-mile radius. There are newer facilities available, but we chose this one and are glad we did. The facility and grounds are amazing, and the staff is outstanding. They care about the residents and do all they can to make their lives comfortable, enjoyable, and safe. When you arrive, the receptionists greet you with the utmost professionalism and friendliness. The community relations director will guide you on the application process and make the move-in transition as easy as it can be for the new resident. The director responds to every request with courtesy and promptness. The nurses and medical team are great. Those who work in the dining room are so kind and caring and memorize the resident's favorite foods. They have excellent activities for the residents... I could go on and on... but if you're looking for a place, please consider this one. Your family member will thank you!

We enjoy the covered entrances, the walking areas around the community and the lake view it has. The lobby and the fireplace is just beautiful, it is very welcoming and has that comforting feeling. Lakeshore is struggling with staffing just like everybody across the board, they have had a lot of turnover. However we would like if they kept it more under ramps and not make the residents so aware of how dissatisfied and overworked they area. Especially since the residents can get attached it could hurt them emotionally.

We chose Savannah Court because they had really good ratings, the area is gorgeous, and the location worked out very well. We drove by and it was really pretty, we really liked the sales director when we met with her and she helped me out a lot. We had him for respite care. They were great with communication and would reach out and ask to see how I was doing. If you are looking for a place where you can reach out to them and get heartfelt responses, this is the place to go.

Elmcroft/American House of Jackson is a warm and caring place. We placed our parents here and we couldn't be happier. The staff is the so caring, patient and kind.
