Well priced and the people are so nice!!

I had issues with billing for my loved one. They did not follow through. My loved one likes the food. The receptionist is very patient and helps my loved one. They have a lot of different activities, which includes getting their nails painted weekely. My loved one seems happier, and has made new friends, which is all that matters.

It was nice but I wanted a smaller setting for my loved one. It was too big.

Before I came to Grace Manor I toured other places; I feel safe here and I call it my home now. I've made a lot great friends and I know it isn't the newest place, but I feel safe. You can go to other places and pay more, but this was the only place that would let me be independent yet when I did need extra assistance they were there. I feel safer here than I did at my own home and I have a nice view of the park. I don't feel that I'm imposing here, the director just came in and spoke to me to see how I was doing. Although she's busy directing things, she said she hadn't seen me in a while and wanted to see how I was doing. We just had a bout with Covid; I didn't test positive, but we all got our meals delivered to our rooms. We have resident meetings where if there's a problem we can address it with the resident president and secretary and they will take it up with the director. It's my home and as long as I can afford it I'd like to stay here forever. The location and everything is just great for me, and it fits me well. The activities are great here; we went to the strawberry festival and the movies. We play bingo and I play poker every Friday and Saturday night. They have card games, beach days, water play day, and we were supposed to have a boat excursion, but it was cancelled due to the weather. They've brought in entertainment like singers and animals. They had dogs, cats, llamas, and small horses; I love animals. There's a different variety of things, so if one thing doesn't suit you then another activity might. During my tours I asked a few questions - one of which was, "What would happen if there was a hurricane or flood"? Grace Manor had an evacuation plan that they walked me through, and although things can change at least there is a plan in action. I would highly recommend Grace Manor to others.

The caregivers and staff are wonderful. It is a very friendly environment and they genuinely care about us. I feel safe and protected as if I was at home.

I feel like I found home. I really do feel the people here are my family. That says it all.

We had a wonderful tour experience with Fairforest Grove and loved all of the staff, especially the gal that was showing us around. Everything was awesome but location wise it was just not going to work out for our family.

This was a wonderful community and the staff were wonderful. My loved one wasn't able to be part of the community due to the community thinking they wouldn't be able to care for my loved one due to the health concerns.

I had a wonderful tour experience with Brookdale Central. The facility and the staff were very nice and they have been great with communication and reaching out to me and answering any questions that I have had. They even called and invited me to lunch so we could try the food. The rooms here are a great size. We were looking for respite and they have a minimum stay of 2 weeks which is longer than we needed.

My dad is in the memory care area and the staff on that end knows all their names, and when my dad's ear popped they had a doctor there the next day to see him. They have a lot of games they do with the people and they have therapy animals that come and visit. I would like to say that the dining room looks like a restaurant sit-up. The staff has helped my mom with her paperwork for the insurance and they know her by her first name. The Grand Villa is a beautiful place.

Toured for my mom (mother-in-law) who was in skilled hospital. Wonder place, staff extra kind and friendly. Sales person was amazing. She listed & took time to hear our needs. My loved one wasn't able to move in b/c of increased care! Would recommend 100%.

My mother has enjoyed her stay here. They have excellent activities for the residents. The building is always fresh and clean. Very home like atomosphere with a very experinced care team. We couldn't ask for anything better and by the way, the food is delicious.

I can't say enough about this community. Within one week of moving in, he has become more social, and thoroughly enjoys being around the other residents. He no longer lays around, in his bed all day. They do a good job of encouraging socialization. He is now involved in daily exercise class and activities. He talks about how much he enjoys the food. We are thrilled.

Very clean, good food, nice open floor plan, and good for walking. Dedicated, and kind staff. Regular activities.

This was a nice community. It felt more structured and felt like a nursing home. It wasn't the right fit for my loved one.
