Monticello West has gone above and beyond to help our family at every turn. Our father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and our mother was no longer able to care for him at home; her health was declining, too. Monticello West provided support and education for us as we tried to navigate this difficult transition for our parents. There have been many challenges and their compassion and support has met us at every turn. We are grateful for the care and concern they have given both of our parents, working hard to accommodate their every need. This facility has life, love and laughter throughout with many long term staff members giving their all. It is evident that our parents have had excellent care on their watch. Very nice place-not much visitor parking but I really like the layout and the rooms were wonderful. Would take my mom for a 2nd visit

The Executive Director is very experienced, licensed and a compassionate, Friendly, approachable communicator with high standards for her team. The head nurse is very accessible and caring. The rest of the team is also very professional and kind. Great Square Lake and Woodward location-exceptionally clean community-just opened in 2019-very reasonable rates compared to others in the area-glad I found this place after being disappointed elsewhere. Highly recommend you tour this place! And, very spacious apartments with granite countertops and roomy, walk in showers too.

We have live at the Clarendale for six months. This makes our third retirement center that we have lived in. The staff, food and amenities are all five star. Stop by and check the place out for yourself. You cannot read the Clarendale by driving by.

[Name removed] is the most caring staffer. We were impressed in every way; however, I believe my parents would be overwhelmed and out of their comfort zone.

I chose this Senior Living because of the cordial staff and residents and the many activities offered every day.

This is my first time here and I haven't seen another place as nice as this. Very nice people. I was invited to lunch with my old friend and the food was fantastic and wait staff very caring.

Clarendale is a very pleasant location to live. I have lived here since the end of [date removed]. The employees all display a positive attitude and usually have a smile on their faces. Your dinner menu needs to be varied with a new menu selections so a guest feels more positive about their experience visiting your dining room.

Hospitality is a core value at StoneRidge and that is evident in the Dining Room. Watching the Dining Room Team is like watching a ballet that I call ‘Collaborative Coordination’. The Dining Room staff and management (who step into the server’s role whenever needed) work together seamlessly. The staff strives not only to meet the expectations of the residents but to exceed them. Each day: (a) residents are greeted warmly, by name and with a smile; (b) the servers frequently anticipate our wishes (habits!) and help us with the menu; (c) they pay attention to the details; and (d) the servers always ask “Is there anything else I can do for you?” In addition the Dining Room Team members support each other in a ‘collaborative coordinated’ manner that is evident, particularly when it is busy. For example when a server is not busy with her/his assigned tables it is not uncommon for them to: (a) pour water for residents just seated; (b) clear dishes from a table finished with the initial course; or (c) ask a busy assigned server if she/he could help: by (a) taking orders for and serving drinks to residents just seated; or (b) ask the assigned server if it would help if she/he took the orders for dessert then cleared the dishes and served dessert and coffee. The Dining Room Team provides enjoyable and responsive service. The ‘Collaborative Coordination’ among servers results in an extraordinary experience for residents, guests and Team members!

I originally toured in Sept. 2018 for Respite Care and they were remodeling their Memory Care unit so I was not comfortable leaving my husband there. I thought the manager, [name removed], was very helpful and I toured again in November 2019 and decided this is the place for my husband to stay. He just started [date removed] and the transition went very smoothly.

There are so many things we liked about this facility: lots of care put into the design for Memory Care residents. There’s a town [removed] Street with different areas for activities, music, movies, exercise class, a fireplace seating area, a snack area/seated activity area, a spa room where residents can take a bath in a soothing & safe environment, and several other smaller & quiet areas to roam and sit. The staff seemed happy and involved, which translates to the residents. There was a caring & homey feel to the place. Updated rooms, good sixes for either single or double occupancy. 2 smaller intimate dining rooms for each wing of residents, and just a short walk to Main Street area which is really well-thought out so no one is far or cut off from others. Definitely one of the contenders for us in our choice.

We have been living here for the past 18 months and are extremely happy . The residents are very friendly. The staff is outstanding in all areas of the Village. They do not hesitate to do everything to help you in any way. They are very caring and kind to the residents. We have been treated like royalty and have gotten involved in the life of the Village. Oh, and I must mention that we have found that this facility is one of the most reasonably priced in the area. We spent some time visiting other facilities and found that this one met our needs. In addition, it is situated close to both Philadelphia and New York. There are also a large number of residents who are from this area, which told us that it must have a great reputation locally. The facility has a medical unit, a memory unit, assisted living, apartments and large cottages. We selected a cottage and are very pleased with it. We have a large living/dining area, a nice size kitchen, two baths and two bedrooms, a den and a sun room, as well as a patio, truly all of the comforts of home.

I've been here 1 1/2 years and I love it. The staff is wonderful. I feel very safe and secure. The residents are very friendly. It is close to a lot of shopping, doctor, dentist, etc. The kitchen has a lot to be desired. The food is pretty much OK. But it takes a LONG time to get it.

This is a beautiful facility that has a very warm, inviting atmosphere. Our contact was very welcoming, friendly and took time to show us each of the different levels of communities. This would be great for Independent Living or Type A Assisted Living where there is no need for outside doors to be secure. They did have all levels of care, but was outside of our budget.
