I toured Balfour Ann Arbor and it was a very gorgeous, but fancy place. They had a lot of activities and a lot of fun things going on. I loved the guy there, he had an interest in my dad and what he did for a living. We talked about a lot of different things. Because of how fancy Balfour is, you'd have to be very cognitive and active to enjoy the things they have there - the wine list, the pool, etc.. It's a great community for active seniors, but my mom needs more care than she needs amenities. Most of the things she'd be paying for would be wasted. It wasn't the right fit because my mom was already past the level of care I think they could provide.

My dad has felt very welcome here, and he feels very safe. It's always clean and the people are friendly. The food has been a bit off, it was much better when he first moved in. Over the last month or so, they have been struggling in that area. He does receive a good value for what he's getting, and he has a nice room. The things he has needed help with have been addressed, and overall he's happy there. A Place for Mom: My Senior Living Advisor, [name removed], was wonderful and extremely helpful to us. We were moving my dad down from New Jersey to Florida and he came down pretty much sight unseen. She was very helpful in guiding us to find a facility that was well suited for my dad needs and preferences. I wouldn't have known where to turn or begin and she helped tremendously in that regard.

The girls do a good job, to please everyone.

Kitchen employees are great! Everything asked for was brought. All waitresses are great. Chef specials are good addition.

I was served in a timely basis by staff. She took my order and served it. She was very friendly and outgoing. It was a very good experience.

Richmond Place has provided me with many life enriching experiences. There are so many activities going on that one has to choose which to attend. There are games of all sorts, book clubs, art classes and crafts.. we have exercise chair yoga, aerobics and balance classes. For additional help there is occupational therapy and physical therapy. Further we have a beautiful courtyard for walking or strolling. Many residents have dogs or cats. For the gardeners among us their are raised beds which are gorgeous now. If that is not for you how about a swim in our outdoor heated pool or just lounge their with a good book! You can always grab a new book at our library or get a recommendation from our book club. The dining room has eliminated my need to shop, cook, or do dishes, which leaves me free time to enjoy other things. Our concierge and staff are always ready to help with questions and concerns we may have. A majority of the staff here is tenured, which is a big plus.

I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I feel my loved one is safe here, and the value is good. The move-in coordinator is very good and provided a number to reach her with any questions. The move-in coordinator is there biggest asset, I feel. I feel the staff communication with the family is very good. My loved one is enjoying the meals served, and the meal allotment is very good. The portions are generous.

It was difficult to leave my home and move to assisted living. I didn’t want to, but my family insisted. I’ve lived here for a few months and I love it. I’ve made friends, enjoy the dining room and the staff work so hard. My experience has been very good. They all work to make me happy and I am feeling better. If I can make the change, anyone can. Just do it. You won’t be sorry.

Everything is excellent. I looked at a lot of places. For the price, Clarendale exceeds the dollar price by far by good! [name removed] my sales person is a credit to Clarendale, and needs to be recognized for her work that goes beyond.

The staff are excellent, and [name removed] made it very easy for my loved one to move in. The staff even knew my loved one's name the day after my loved one moved in. No ask is too big for the community. All requests are taken care of immediately. The food is excellent and my loved one does nothing but rave about how good the food is.

Clarendale of Mokena is an outstanding facility. Their staff, their amenities, and genuine concern for residents is amazing. I am grateful for the care my mom gets there!

I am so glad I picked Clarendale for my moms final days. The whole staff was so awesome to her. She was in a memory care unit and she was able to do activities, exercises, parties, concerts and many things to challenge her mind. If angels lived on earth, they would be at Clarendale of Mokena. Best thing I could have ever done for her.

A place for mom was a good service to help us find assisted living and Southport square was the best one we visited. All levels of care available and the campus is great. You can feel the senior focus once you walk through the doors.

This waitress was delightful. She is patient while the residents decide. She described the food so we know what we are being served. She returned to the table to check that everything was satisfactory.

Everything is clean and neat. The residents are very well cared for. The staff is very, very friendly with them. They have lots of activities. And it's a good value compared to other places we looked at.

Clarendale is a growing community and they are still trying to build their customer base. I think they are trying very hard to be a top tier community in St. Louis for Independent and Assisted Living Community. The staff are very flexible to work with and are accommodating to the family and resident's requests. The meals are very flexible, and the dining room is open 7 am to 8 pm and you can have any meal anytime. The community provides laundry services for assisted living. There is a fridge, small sink, cabinet space, and microwave in the apartments in the assisted living as well. The community will provide assistance for any ADL needed.

We have been very happy with Clarendale at Bellevue Place. We initially chose them because of the convenient location as well as the facility itself and the staff. Overall it has been a very pleasant place with great staff which is wonderful with this environment we are in right now. I would definitely recommend them to others.

My wife had an eight week stay at Pomperaug Woods and I couldn't be happier with the complete staff including the kitchen! All of the people involved in my wife"s recovery are superheros. They have what it takes to make anyone feel safe and comfortable. Constant monitoring of my wife's well being, medication and hygeine. They are did a wonderful job. I would recommend Pomperaug Woods to anyone seeking this type of service.

[name removed] (wife) and I moved into Green Country Village [date removed]. She had a stroke on [date removed]. After my daughter and I looked around, we decided GCV was the far best place to live. I immediately became active in the the residence counsel. I have enjoyed it ever since. The secret is to get involved and stay active. Be around people. My wife passed away [date removed] after [incomprehensible] home eight years. I have highly recommended to friends and will continue. GCV is a wonderful place to live and entertain guests. The staff from top to bottom are friends with residents from Bartlesville and from Georgia to Washington. I love it.
