I toured with my mom and we were invited to stay for lunch. I ordered the special of the day and my mom ordered the Delaney Salad. The presentation was great but the taste was even better.

Mom is kind of a picky eater so she is not too keen on the dining options available. She has had some maintenance issues that have taken a little bit to resolve but they have continually worked with her to get resolved. The only thing that has been an issue is that mom is nearly blind and it is hard for her to read the menus or calendar for the activities. Staff are fantastic. Mom is very happy here but coming from living in a home for 27 years to apartment live has been a huge change for her and she's only been there a little over [dates removed]. Still transitioning

My loved one is enjoying life again. Meals are prepped and they are geeting the assistance that is needed. They have friends that they can hang out with. It has been a very nice experience. It gives me peace, knowing my loved one is well taken care of.

I appreciated the time they took explaining some differences and benefits of Assisted living vs. memory care. I was unsure of which environment would be better for my mom, but I feel more informed now. I also liked meeting the Executive Director while on my tour.

One of my favorite things that they offer is the memory care service. Dementia and memory loss can be so rough on those going through it. Seeing a community that takes that difficulty to heart, brings comfort to its residents and their families. Social interaction and movement is essential feeling great and relevant. The Delaney has so many social gatherings and events to take advantage of.

My aunt moved into independent living. Her apartment is perfect for her and the staff, with their smiling faces, made it even more comfortable. They provided her with all kinds of helpful information to make her transition seamless. A big thank you to all the staff.

From the first call to the tour to move in, the staff went above and beyond. [name removed] in marketing is amazing. [name removed] in memory care is the most professional and kind coordinator. We looked at 10 different facilities and when we walked into Rose, it was right.

I toured Heritage at Irene Woods and we loved the amenities, dining, and everything about it. They did a great job with our tour as well. We chose another community because of the security at Heritage. You have to go through all of this red tape to sign in, but it's still very open and accessible all the way around. There was no courtyard and the apartment my loved one looked at was on the main level with outside access. We thought that would be great for his spouse when she visits, but most apartments have some sort of keypad or fob for entrance, whereas Heritage had nothing and we thought that was odd.

Westbridge takes Covid precautions seriously. Staff is always masked. Visitors need to sign in, answer a series of questions, get their temperature taken, and wear a mask. Dining menus are great, and they will make special meals for residents with different dietary needs. They have a lot of fun activities planned throughout the day.

My mother was a patient there in assisted living section. The management and staff were all very caring, knowledgeable, and competent. I witnessed first hand that Scott and his entire crew gave her outstanding care and compassion. I would highly recommend this facility and in fact already have. My father-in-law was recently moved to this section of the facility for his rehab effort. Job well done team!

My parents, who lived in Ohio, were needing a little more care so they moved to GVS from Ohio. My dad, whose health was better, truly enjoyed being here. Mom spent some time in the health center. When my husband and I decided to downsize, GVS was an obvious choice. We never regretted it. The people here are very friendly. Since my husband recently passed away, I am most grateful for all that GVS has to offer.

I think Clarendale of Algonquin is a great place for your loved ones. I would highly recommend them to others.

What really stood out to us and what has made a good experience is the nursing staff - they have great communication between the families and the residents it is really just top notch. It is still a little tricky with covid but they do a great job with the activities - they bring in live entertainment a few times a week and they play different games. Based on our experience so far we have recommended this community to others and will continue to do so

They do a really good job with my dad. He likes the food. They have alot of act, although he does not participate. It is expensive but the value is great, and I am satisfied. A lot of peole that live here go becasue it is in Staten Island, which ties into the community, and is surrounded by big city parks. They have thought of everything that dad needed, and I am highly impressed. They are friendly, and make an effort to give options for dad, as far as activities. This is for familes trying to get the elderly in asssited living. Dad never wanted to go to asssited living, but he has provided positive feedback and he is comfortable.
