I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Parkwood Independent Living community for the care and compassion shown to my parents ([name removed]and [name removed]) during their stay at Parkwood. While my father found it difficult to part with their house in Euless, he did find a community that made the transition to Parkwood pleasant. My mother found just exactly what she was looking for in friendships, food, and service. I highly recommend the Parkwood community to those looking for a retirement setting of comfort and companionship they can call home.

Gabel Pines like most business has experienced difficulties in keeping its staff fully filled but has done a good job in providing good services. I think if fully staffed I think it would be excellent service.

The facility is beautiful and very inviting. Lots of common areas Food is exceptional and beyond what most places have. It's a focus of theirs. The leadership there is seasoned and top notch. Many people have ended up there after not liking other places. I've had two relatives there and spent a lot of time there.

My mother is physically healthier now then when she entered a year ago. The place is beautiful and brand new...we always see people cleaning. The staff are all very friendly and seem to truly care for my mom. The management staff are exceptional in their involvement and awareness of what is going on in the community. [name removed] the memory care director is AMAZING.

I would recommend South Port memory care.

We are so glad that we moved my mom into independent living at the Roosevelt at Salt Creek. She had lived at a different senior facility for over 12 years which was continually finding ways to cut corners to the detriment of the residents. The staff at The Roosevelt is the exact opposite! They find additional things to do for my mom that are not even their job, to make life easier for her and to add to the family feeling of the community. The facility is beautiful, the food in the dining room is delicious and the activities are varied and enjoyable. My mom is getting physical therapy regularly and has started to see the medical group onsite as well as the podiatrist. Mom is thriving at The Roosevelt and we are so relieved that she is safe and happy.

My husband and I moved to Wyndemere two years ago. We debated between a townhome and apartment, but the apartment won us over. We wanted to be right in the mix and connect with other residents. It's been fantastic! To keep moving, I enjoy going to different exercise classes they offer. I also like have my morning cup of coffee in the lobby with some friends.

The staff is very friendly and the facilities are very clean. They have a lot to do for the residents including day trips off property as well as numerous activities on property every day!

My parents moved into The Delaney last year. It has been such a gift to have my parents close by and enthusiastic about their decision to make the move. The tasty food choices are plentiful. The plethora of activities keeps them social and active. The residents are so welcoming and ready to make friends. The staff truly cares about the residents. When my mom fell, physical therapy was available to get her back in shape. The environment is clean with lots of natural light. If I had to do it all over again, I would have them move to The Delaney again and again!

[name removed] is great. Mom is adjusting to her new situation and residence. Everyone is very nice, supportive, and responsive. She is getting great care from the techs, nurse, and PT. She has not been involved with the activities but she has done more as time goes on. Lots to offer. We are really happy she is safe and getting good care.

I cannot overstate how awful the food is. Worse, you MUST pay $[removed]/month for it. with no discount if you don't eat anything there. Those old people sit for an hour at mealtimes with out getting any service even water. Food is often unspeakable when it does come. Wine is often unavailable. Staff is untrained and scarce. Kitchen is a quarter the size it needs to be. They've been through 4 chefs. I wouldn't be surprised if there is eventual legal action and health ramifications for the residents. Cost is very high. Cheaper tiny 1 bedroom is $[removed]. They charge for things like adding light switches ($[removed]) or outlets that should have been there in the first place. They charge to paint a wall PLUS double charge for future repaint back to the awful baby poop brown when you move out. Any upgrades are double charged like that and returned to downgrade when you move out. So stupid. Parking extra $[removed] a month. Tiny storage cage extra $[removed]a month. They promised a driver but only have one who works 9 to 4 so no 8:00 or 3:30 doctor appointment. Promised happy hours but they have no bartender. When it is open they use untrained staff. Activities are wonderful but they only have a 13 passenger van so most people don't get to go. My Mom is sorry she moved there and is looking. We are SO disappointed. It looked so nice. Building, employees, and residents are all wonderful. Owners/company are the worst. And it is not necessary. If they cared, this wouldn't be the case. Problems are inexcusable because they are fixable. I would never recommend anyone go to ANY of their properties.

We have lived in Florida since 1986 and retired from our teaching careers in 2010. We had family living in Palm City and it became our second home . We discovered Sandhill Cove when my step father passed in [removed] and my Mother had some rehab there as well. That being said we knew where we were going to move after retirement. It was a no brainer! Sell your home, downsize your possessions, meet new people. When the pandemic hit we were first in line for our vaccinations, if wanted.. We have some health issues and how can you not want help at your finger tips. That's what [removed] is all about. There when needed! We continue to enjoy our independent living style and do what we can to keep it up. All the exercise classes, social activities etc keep ypu moving and engaged with the community. We have lived here for 7 years and being our last move. it was the Best Move!!!

One of the privileges of being a member of the Captain’s Club is a complimentary four-course dinner once a month. It is our “date night.” We arrive for hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine. Without exception, we are greeted and welcomed by residents who always ask, “When are you moving in?” along with the comment, “Living at Sand Hill Cove is the best decision we ever made.” At 6:30pm the Matre ’de cordially takes us to our table to enjoy our dinner. We have never been disappointed by the menu or the service. Regarding when we might “move in” we hope that it will be sooner rather than later. About 30 residents at Sand Hill Cove have moved there from our current community. What better recommendation could we have than that of our former neighbors.

I love living here because the environment is just so happy and positive. The people and staff are very friendly they greet you with a smile. .You can always get the help you need from the staff no matter what it is.... Emergencies are handled so well it's a wonderful environment there isn't a bunch of negativity.... There are so many activities whether you are a card player, game player, a swimmer or if you participate in the athletics of the gym..... I've been a resident for 2 years and Its a great place to live.

I had been aware of Sandhill Cove. I found several of my friends had moved there and were always telling me how great it was....When I decided Sandhill Cove was an excellent choice for myself I moved there because of the quality of its facilities the resort style areas and excellent restaurants. I have been here for 2 years and found it as good as others had often said. I find far more things to do than I expected. Being a Resident here provides so much you will not be bored....Most importantly there is an extensive health care program included in the Life Plan that will provide all my care needs for the future.....

I moved to Sandhill Cove in 2015. It was the best decision I ever made. In 2019, I had to move my husband to the skilled nursing component, Water's Edge Health and Rehabilitation. I was able to spend time with him every day and have him join me in the dining room on many occasions until his passing in 2021. The residents of Sandhill Cove are my family. There are many opportunities for residents to lead an active and fulfilling life in this community. We have wonderful staff that look out for us on a daily basis. Come join us!

I am a resident at Sandhill Cove. I enjoy playing bridge and Hand and Foot. I like having the assistance of the aides when needed. I like having housekeeping service. I enjoy the dine around trips to different restaurants. I like the lovely residents. And mostly, I like having the concierge service since I don't drive.

Sandhill Cove is not a retirement community, far from it. Sandhill Cove is a new beginning. It's like taking an advanced degree on how to live life. Kind of like living on a new planet or starting a new life. Infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, that's all behind you. Sandhill Cove is all about being busy doing all the things you had no time for when you had to work. Attending theatre, playing golf, listening to informative lectures, having opportunities to try new restaurants and treating your body to healthy exercise. But the best thing of all is meeting new people from all over and making new friends to share a new life that we have been given the opportunity to love.

My three sons picked this for me when my husband passed away. I have a lot of good friends here....The food is great....The best Part about it is they take such good care of us here.... My family and I suggest Sandhill Cove as a wonderful place to live and have Peace of Mind....

To me, it's the staff that exceeds expectations! Knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated and totally committed to being the best. And this is reflected in the Residents, as well. We were greeted by a most welcoming group pf residents who went above and beyond to dine with us, introduce us to other residents, answer questions and share their their exciting life stories.
