The sales staff is very convincing, but when the real care is needed it is another story. Within four months we were forced to move out or to a higher cost of care in their community. Then five months later we were again push out to a higher cost of care. The help and flexibility we were told about by the sales staff has been non-existent. After 10 months in their facility we are left with no where to go and no guidance from Richmond Place other than your Mom needs to to move somewhere else. What are our options?

the appearance and overall presentation is very nice. the biggest problem we have found is lack of communication between staff members which delays getting issues taken care of. the staff have been pleasant.

Bellingham had access to activites. However, their food was mediocre. They also charged too much to have the meal delivered to your apartment and it always came cold. Also, recently the accounting office more than triple charged us on the monthly rental fee and it took more than 2 months and legal help to get the money refunded.

There is an entrance fee of $150,000 to join community, they do not take social security

She liked it a lot except that it is not under one roof and would have to be in the elements. The shower/tub would be a problem.

This is a very nice looking community, however it is very expensive and they didn't appear to provide significantly better care for the cost. The layout of the community would also not have been a good fit, there are a lot of long hallways to traverse.

For assisted living they were great, but we had problems with the supervisor in memory care managing my mom's behavior. It was disappointing because I really wanted her there. I liked the Jewishness and I was really sad that she had to leave. My mom started acting really inappropriate and we had to put her in a psych ward for a couple of weeks, and they wouldn't take my mother back because the medicine hadn't kicked in, etc. We just had too many problems with the supervisor.

Very nice but too large and spread out for her.

Activities are limited. Very little physical activity. Poor nutrition (10% weight gain in 4 months is not acceptable). Have discovered better alternatives in the area.

This is a pretty place in a nice location. The interior is dated, and the residents seem generally older than I am. It could be of interest if I decided I wanted a place without a buy-in.

It was way too big for mom. She likes small communities and bridge so that wouldn't have worked for her

A little pricey, better choices available form a cost standpoint.

Loved director. Not so sure we want that plan. Liked the villas. Honestly was not sure that was not a 'hustle'. But told deposit is refundable within 60 days.

Based on size and layout, I worry about changes in resident behavioral changes being recognized and addressed promptly. Very old facility,

Clean, secure. Stark decor. Limited space. Not as friendly staff. Community shower/tub. Smaller rooms. Some outside area.

4th floor 1 bed 600 sq.ft full kitchen with micro. $3,600 includes assisting daily + 3 meals a day 8:00am 12:00pm and 5:00pm Does have guest apt for $60.00 a night + breakfast. $11.00 for dinner. No outside noise.

I visited toured the assisted living and the skill care facilities. The rooms are all nice, like living at home. Big closets. Assisted living requires one to bring all furnishings etc. I didn't ask about cats. The corners were a little frayed, but the skill care may be what we need for the short term.

Good tour. My husband really liked this place. However, I fear that Mom and Stepdad would have difficulty getting from their room to the dining room due to the maze of covered walkways which still let in the heat in summer and cold in winter. Also too easy to just walk away. I think they need more restriction or monitored entry and exit.

Buy-in required for independent living.
