Very nice community, my mother in law is doing very well since her move here. We do feel she is receiving good care, and in good facility. Everyone has been very helpful, and kind. Overall all is well, and I would recommend this community.

My tour of this community was a pretty good one, everything well. Everyone was friendly, and kind to my family, and I. The community was well maintained, and well-kept from what we saw. The experience was a nice one, but it wasn't the facility for my in laws.

My father had a pretty good respite stay experience here at this community. I was satisfied with his stay at this community. I know he was safe, and good hands. They have good staff. They kept me up to date on information about my father. It was a nice experience, but I would say their rates are expensive.

I recently toured this facility while looking for a place for my grandmother. The receptionist that greeted me was lovely. While waiting in what they call the "pub" area I noticed some staining on the carpet, odd for a place thats been open for just over a year. A red headed woman named [Removed], I believe, was the one who gave us the tour. She was a little pushy and annoying, but no big deal. It was going well, but I noticed that not many people seemed to be around. I asked about recreational activities and if there were any trips. She seemed excited to tell me that they go all over, but when I looked at the activity board all I saw was Tim Hortons and Scenic drive? Really? Other facilities had trips to Atlantic City and more fun and engaging things going on. I also noticed that it seemed no real activities were taking place. There were a few ladies playing cards and what seemed like too many people squished into a small "television room." While walking through the hallway there was a short aide with glasses and dark hair pulled black yelling about who she was showering next and what beds she had made. Very inappropriate and awkward. I denied the tour of the memory care unit as my grandmother is very with it, but from the amount of time I was in the facility it appeared they have a very eclectic group of people living there. Many were very visibly confused and I noted that the nurses were very calm and sweet while assisting them, but it seemed like a red flag to me. From what I gathered from touring over 15 facilities is that assisted livings are more so for the independent and I didn't get that impression from The Brielle. When I heard the pricing, though in our range, it seemed highly over valued. I think The Brielle needs about 2-3 more years before they truly can get it together. They also failed to mentioned that their water system is being treated for Legionnaires disease, I learned that from google...

My first impression of this community was really good, everything was really beautiful. They offer valet parking and the building inside and out looked very high end as well as a beautiful view of the water. Once I got to the residence I started to have concerns. They where at a very low capacity and I saw no interaction with the staff going on anywhere. I also witnessed a few staff members just standing around talking and texting.

The actual facility seemed nice, although I get the feeling that the Assisted Living residents and the Independent Living residents are treated differently. They don't even eat the same food. I did not get a happy, warm feeling from the staff or the residents. I felt rushed on the tour, which seemed suspicious. Saw a lot of staff "goofing off." And I read bad reviews about the food, the turnover in staff, and trouble with maintenance. While we were there, a resident's daughter was complaining that her mother's smoke alarm had been beeping for days.

Everything has been going good. I just have a problem that they told me that they would be able to get to my loved one in 5 minutes or less. That is the reason why I chose them. Instead it is taking them 30 minutes to get to her. The food is fairly good and the community is clean.

I know of this community from years ago and now it needs some updating. The food is not to good and I have heard this too. I am glad I did not pick this one. It is one of nicest looking communities in Lexington.

Our family has had a pretty good experience with this community. Overall we are pleased with all they have done for us. They are willing to work with us regarding the issues we have. She is really enjoying the activities that are available. I know she is safe and overall we are pleased with her move here.

I had an appointment to tour the community Eastcastle Place. The tour guide that normally is there was absent that day and another person gave me the tour. The person that was substituting the tour guide was very accommodating and apologetic. She tried to do her best. It would have been good if the community would have just re-scheduled that tour so i could have had a proper tour of the community. From what i did see the place was clean and safe.

This is a nice community and the people here are nice and friendly. My mother had a bad fall when she moved to the community. Since her fall she has been in the hospital. I was pleased with the community and everything was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and did all they can do.

We have now switched to home care but my husband was at Clarendale for a little while in the memory care unit but he did end up needing more care then they were able to provide. It was a very bling out place looked very nice and clean. I would say to anyone thinking of moving here just make sure you know the level of care your loved one needs because this place doesn't care for people with advance memory problems.

They really were not ready for a move-in. There were things that were broken and not painted and so on. They did okay getting stuff repaired, but I would rate that a 2. They are probably average, but they are also a premium price, so the value is not there.

Large and convenient. Separate bldgs. with walk ways. No evening meals & electric added. Internet/WIFI was questionable.

My opinions on Eastcastle Place are somewhat mixed, so far. The facility itself seems well kept and clean. However, my loved one is in the assisted living portion, and it seems very small. There aren't many other residents or caregivers on hand. I'm just not sure yet it is somewhere she will be comfortable long term.

Very homey atmosphere, nice caring staff. Only negative is washer/dryer not in apartment which is major for mom.

Too smallfor both parents...one needing assisted living and one that doesn't. It is 808 sq ft., very expensive $5,600 per month. Step in bathroom barely fits a chair inside, etc.

We scheduled our tour online, but they were not prepared for us. The person who offered the tour could not give us good information about activities. The staff we encountered were not friendly and did not offer information when we asked questions. Admittedly, we toured on the Saturday after Christmas, but one would think that there would be a manager available who could answer questions.

Older facility. Limited private rooms. None available. Nice patio and screened porch. Good activities for residents. Carpet throughout looked worn and spotted throughout. Pets possible. Not on the list due to no private room available.

The location is not perfect, but clean. The majority off the staff is very friendly and helpful, but my Mom has had some bad experiences in assisted living and independent living. They didn't check very often on my Mom and she went 7 days without a bath. When she was in independent living and her shower curtain broke. A cleaning lady came into her room and my Mom asked if she could replace the shower curtain. The cleaning lady simply refused and I was very surprised. As of now I don't know if this is a long term solution for my Mom based on the experience she has had. I would rate this community a 3/5 because of the poor services and staff.
