We looked at a lot of different places. This was one of the ones we toured and considered. I liked all of the communities I visited, the people were all fine, and this was no exception. I just don't think this is the right fit for us, my loved ones don't want to leave their home.

Lovely place for retirement, but won't really meet our needs. We need assisted living and memory care. While Bellingham does have those offerings, they are more a regular retirement community.

Very Nice place and well kept

She is very happy there. The people are very warm and welcoming. The food is very good. They have little get togethers. It's going very good. The only issue she is having is that they are a little slow to respond to maintenance issues. Other than that it's great!

Dana was very nice. Placement offer was very generous ($2000/mo for 6 months).

Everything is good, they are doing fine. I don't have any complaints. It's clean and they do what they are supposed to.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for our loved one. Everything here looked very nice, and all of the staff seemed friendly! It wasn't quite the right fit for Mom though, we thought she might be a bit better off in a smaller community, as she has some ambulatory issues. But they are definitely worth a look if you are looking into senior care!

My loved one is having a little trouble settling in, but I think Freedom Village at Holland is doing a good job overall. It's a clean, nice looking community, and the staff have all been very friendly so far. They seem to have a good variety of activities and services they provide for their residents, and they also do a good job with the food!

This was an absolute beautiful place. Would be like living in a resort - however that is why it would not be fit for mom and dad. For them the smaller the better.

My sister was checking it out, but it was a high rise, wouldn't work.

The Village (with Lachelle Gentry) was very new, modern and sophisticated, definitely does not look like a senior living community. I would like to live here myself. This gorgeous multilevel 8 story complex on the waterway is in a very popular area here in The Woodlands. And because it's a popular area the shopping complexes, including grocery stores are packed with limited parking available. Good thing there is a local trolley that stops by every hour for their residents. On site the visitor parking availability is zero due to lot line restrictions (they are working on other options) so they not only have problems with visitor parking but employee parking as well. The interior had extremely wide open hallways, high end lighting with windows at the end of each hall so it doesn't seem so closed in. The kitchens were about the same size as The Forum but with higher ceilings and a more open floor plan. Included are a washer/dryer in the room. Their social areas were big and the exterior balconies were spacious over looking the most beautiful views of local festivals and athletic competitions. Definitely a place to be for an active senior or even a not so active senior. Their Independent Living started from $3600(631sf)-$4500; Assisted Living $4800+ and Memory care $6000+ . They have a life alert style pendant and motion sensors for assisted living. A doctor visits once a week, nursing staff 7am-7pm and medcare through the night. Enrollment fee $3500.

It was a fine community. My apartment was fine. Everything is clean. The food was not the greatest. They could have done with some better employees – one of whom would be the food manager. He wasn’t qualified to be a food manager.

My loved one doesn’t need any special care. It’s just independent living. Everyone is very friendly. The apartments are nice. I wish they offered an evening meal. They offer a breakfast and a full lunch. If you don’t finish your lunch, they offer a to go container. They have very nice outside areas. We chose it because it was pet friendly and because it was close to us.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for my loved one. This was a nice enough looking community. The staff we met were all friendly and it seemed well run. We didn't quite like the feel of this community, however. It didn't have an atmosphere we felt my loved one would be comfortable in, it felt too clinical.

The staff we met on the tour were friendly and professional, and the facility itself seemed clean. However it wasn't at the top of our list, and wasn't the community we ended up selecting.
