The staff are great, friendly have been helpful. However they don't have a lot of staff so there's a lot of things that haven't happened for my dad that we've had to talk to them about quite a few times so, communication. According to my dad, the food it's OK but always cold . When we got him moved in I thought he would have some sort of orientation to the facility and he should have but he didn't so he didn't know what he was getting for his money and that took a good month and a half to figure that out where he was satisfied with the answer, he's happy there, but he says it's all show behind the scenes doesn't run that smoothly I guess.

I met initially with [name removed],and then [name removed]regarding my mother Akiko's admission. this was a difficult decision to make for my mom. the Heritage facility appearance was a perfect fit as my mother does not know about senior living options and the appearance was more like a very nice hotel and it did not cause her much anxiety. [name removed] comes from a small town and nursing homes are all she knows and also that they are often for end of life. since moving in she is always up and participating in bingo, movies, games, happy hours/football Sunday, shopping, and going out for lunch, and dining with her group. she has learned a lot being with other residents and is more adjusted to what is now and making the best of her life. this is a stark contrast from being home and not doing very much. thanks so much to[names removed] and all the staff at Heritage Assisted Living. It is a great place to live. I picked this community because it was near my older son.

I always feel that there is support here for my grandmother. Sometimes things aren't clean on weekends. The staff is always kind and attentive.

The food is good. I don't receive nursing help but I enjoy my physical therapist. The people are friendly.

Beautiful facility, friendly staff that are extraordinarily tolerant and patient with the residents. The independent living arrangement is more independent than we anticipated. Specifically, there is no support available off hours if Mom needs unscheduled help getting from her bed to the bathroom for example. It is not easy to match her desire for autonomy with her need for 24 hour help moving around. This requires her to employ a live in aid through an outside service, which is costly. This would still be true with the available assisted living program. The third option, nursing facility, provides more oversight than desired so finding the right fit is challenging.

The staff for the most part are truly caring and very friendly. We love the staff for sure. He says he is happy there.

The staff here are very friendly and seem generally concerned about our well-being. My apartment is quite large about 1300 ft.². However, the bathrooms are quite small with my wheelchair. The full kitchen is a real bonus.

Our family member was at Havenwood Minnetonka. The facility is beautiful- especially the central room and the outdoor patio. The staff was friendly and we believe they genuinely cared about our loved one. The reason for the mixed review is that there were constant staffing change-overs…from the top down. Communication became an issue. There were also very few activities for the residents during the week because of staffing shortages. They did offer some fun off-campus outings. It seems like Havenwood Minnetonka has the potential to be a great place with more consistent staffing and leadership.

The meals and dining has improved since I first came here. I'm not into activities. I have a car and like to get out and shop or go to my daughter's house. I have gone on some of the outings. I have considered moving to a regular apartment because this is so expensive, but I don't want to pack up and move again. Yes, I would recommend them to others based on the experience I have had so far.

Beautiful facility. Staff is friendly and willing to engage regarding the patient. Room sizes in memory care are spacious and activities are plentiful.

I liked that the memory care was on the first floor and not have to take an elevator in case they have to move everyone out for a fire and liked that the garden was in the memory care unit and was available to my mom.

We chose Richmond Place because we liked the looks of the facility. Staff is like all others, some good and reliable, some not so much. Mom has had money and jewelry stolen from room.

The facility is beautiful and welcoming. The staff is also welcoming. Never have I entered the facility without being welcome and greeted by name. They do a wonderful job of getting to know the residents by name. That goes the same for the admin staff as well. They have a resident committee to welcome and work with new residents to help them integrate into their new surroundings. Which is a wonderful idea, I'm just not sure that it has worked for my love one who is a fairly new resident, at least not yet. They have a monthly session for new residence presented by various admin staff which is great. They have a variety of activities available to the residents.

The Apartment they showed us sold me on the place for my father. The health care Workers seem top notch. The meals seem institutional but reasonably Acceptable. The total Cost is a little on the high side.

Overall care and attention is very good. The staff is certainly friendly and demonstrates patience with the residents every day from what I have observed. The facility is clean, organized and appears to be well managed.

The facility was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always available if mom needed help or if I asked for anything. Everyone tried to engage mom, even when she wasn’t interested. Mom had some angry times, refusing care or meds, and the staff was very good about calling me to help convince her that it was needed and they were trying to help her not hurt her. Unfortunately, mom was unable to experience the activities offered, including going to the dining room. Meals were brought to her room, but weren’t always “complete”. The hospice team from Capital City Hospice was awesome, from the beginning of care to the end! My mom passed away four weeks ago and I have yet to hear from anyone at The Avalon. Very disappointing!

They are pretty good. Sometimes it feels like they don't communicate with each other very well or with the family members. But the food is good and they are responsive if you reach out to them. She is overall happy there.

Very good, I have never personality met the [name removed] and would like to. The caregivers are very something come in a help and check in on me. [names removed] (nurses) are wonderful!
