The Delaney is a very nice facility. The food is very good according to my mother-in-law. We have had to report a water leak and fraying carpet, but overall things are going well.

In the short time I have been at Havenwood the staff turnover has been very high.

Beautiful facility compared to other around the area. Also has the best food of all the similar assisted living facilities.

Bellingham is awesome, we are all very pleased. Great staff, great food, beautiful green grounds, park like with walking trails. Good community of people and plenty of activities.

The overall experience was good and the employees that work there were caring and kind to my father. Weekends seemed to be a constant problem with staffing especially overnight. While this has little impact to residents that are mobile, those residents with mobility issues suffered from not being able to get out of bed to use the restroom. My father was recovering from a broken hip and the doctors wanted him doing as much as possible but it was easier for the staff to let him use a diaper instead of being available to get him to the bathroom. While I understand that this was mainly a staffing issue it was frustrating. Activities were plentiful and the staff tries to keep residents involved. My father participated in most and enjoyed the interaction.

This place isn't perfect but it's good overall and that makes it an excellent value. There has been some turnover in the Sr management for this location that has introduced some disruption but I believe that they are working to improve everything here.

The nursing staff is great. The food which has been a problem for my husband is now considered much better and he has gained 10 pounds since our arrival. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I can recommend visiting touring and meeting a few of the residents. I am pleased that we have moved here.

The facility is new, modern and impeccably clean. The staff are friendly and eager to help. Being a new facility they are still working through a few operational items from time to time as they arise.

The food is great, the staff is awesome and I love 2 bedroom apartment. My dog is also happy.

Beautifully landscaped setting, facility is well maintained, pleasant contemporary decor, friendly residents, responsive staff, good quality food, decent amenities (local transportation, activities, laundry facilities).

The place is newly renovated. The staff is lovely. They are very polite and friendly. I would recommend to others.

An excellent facility overall at a reasonable. cost. The staff is very friendly and caring. There are many nice field trips, games, and good musical entertainment for people to attend. The best attributes of Gable Pines are that the food is excellent, the common rooms are large, well designed, extremely clean and welcoming with lovely outside grounds, and the staff is helpful and caring. Balconies are nice & outside grounds are adjacent to local neighborhoods. Window views are green and lovely. There is a nice walking path, lots of birds and trees, and a small pond. Downsides are that currently there is not enough cleaning staff for individual apartments (they are short-staffed right now) and I think there could be a better “buddy system” for the first week when a resident moves in. Overall, I would recommend this facility, although the residents seem to be skewed to ages 88-100+. The movers are great, underground parking & storage is good, and changes to the apartments allowed!

Difficulties with medication refills, staff consistency, medication delivery on schedule. I would recommend the Delaney.

Nothing will ever be what you want it to be. You need to make peace with it. [name removed] is in Hospice, and he's doing much better under their care. You, as that person's guardian, must be aware of everything that's going on with your loved one.As for a Place for Mom, [name removed] was a gift from God getting [name removed] the help he needed.

We enjoyed the facility .. the food was our favorite .. nice atmosphere Clean .. we loved that there is always someone there to answer the phones .. food is great Too expensive

The first month seems to be going good. My parents are adjusting and clarendale has been very helpful. Facility is clean and meals seem to be well prepared and enjoyable. Nurses and other employees are very helpful and friendly.

The staff personnel are compassionate, educated and professional. The facility is well maintained.

The staff is in flux right now. Changes at the top. Generally the food is good. Housekeeping is sketchy. Activities are good and cover a wide range. There are limited meals available. Dinner is the only meal served in the dining room. Rent is steep but includes $[removed] a month food allowance Senior helpers are available to assist in various situations. They tell you someone will change your linens.. but I have been here a year and no one ever came. If you don't hit the all button someone checks on you. Brunch is served on Sundays but they don't tell you there is no dinner served that day

My MIL has been there for one year now. I would want people to understand the journey they are on regardless of what facility they choose. The condition of your loved one will change alot in a year. My MIL started out in Assisted Living in a one bedroom apartment and she loved it. She was there for 4 months and at first would go down to the dining room for every meal and tried to participate in the many fun activities but she quickly digressed into wanting to stay in bed and skip meals and activities. The staff have to learn the habits of your loved one and they did so well! It takes alot of effort to get her up and encourage her and they did that. After a lengthy hospital stay, we realized she had to have more attention than Assisted Living can offer so we moved her over to the Memory Care area. That was a big adjustment for her, much less space and still great meals but not in the nice dining room of Assisted Living. The activities are fewer but still nice. They take field trips out to eat once a month. The issue in Memory Care is that the residents are all at different ability levels so its sometimes hard to get mental stimulation from each other. The staff do a wonderful job giving her the attention she needs in Memory Care and they genuinely love the residents! As far as value, I think most people will be shocked at the cost that all facilities charge in Katy. Since you have to pay a lot to get the care you want, make sure you visit many facilities before you make a selection. I would choose the Delaney at Parkway Lakes again!

Everyone is very nice and friendly On boarding could be a bit better on learning how things work. I would recommend.
