From the wait staff to the Doctor they have all been terrific. Danberry at Inverness is a little more expensive than the other facilities we visited but it's worth it. Assisted living residents have three dining rooms they can eat in, the food is managed by an executive chef who is French Canadian and everything I've tasted so far has been excellent. The grounds are beautiful and we love all the water features. The apartments are large and airy and overlook gardens and woods. The nursing staff is friendly and helpful. I don't have to worry about my father knowing he is being taken care of by a concerned staff that let's me know what's going on.

My mother felt comfortable here. It is smaller than some of the other communities she visited and she liked that. Because there is no large fee for entry it was more affordable than some other communities. The staff was friendly and welcoming and made my mother feel at home. There are activities that my mother was interested in, especially ballet class. There are many other people in this community who are still very active and that was important to my mother.

I have been very pleased. The pricing has been very good as well. They do have a variety of activities. They had concerts there and they did outings. The food was the one area with some disappointment. The food would be cold sometimes, we did have it delivered to the room. The menus were wonderful, the variety was good. They don't have much in the way of guest parking, but there is a convenient loading area for picking up and dropping off.

They did a good job. It was very clean, and the staff was friendly. This was a respite stay so it was one flat daily rate and there were no hidden costs or fees. The food was good, no complaints there. No complaints at all really, it was definitely first class.

It's an amazing facility, everyone is happy there, everyone there is extremely happy. The food is great, they are all putting on their freshman 15. It's just wonderful!

I moved to DanberryAtInverness on March 30, 2012 which was 4 months after my daddy passed away on November 21, 2011. I felt so lost and unsure about my life. However, everyone at Danberry wasted no time in making me feel so welcomed and I could feel that they truly cared about me and made me feel right at home. Now that I've been here a little over 2 years, I love Danberry and everyone who works here and lives here has become my 2nd family. DanberryAtInverness is an awesome place to live and feel needed again. I don't regret moving here because I LOVE my 2nd Family and my new home. Thank you and God Bless you.

Loved it so much I put a deposit down on an apartment. Staff and residents were friendly and open. Clean, safe, drs on staff, lots of activities, families encouraged to participate.

She’s only been there a short time, but so far we are very happy. The food is excellent food. There haven’t been any concerns with the laundry service. We haven’t had any issues finding parking at all. Everyone has been great. Everything is fives across the board.

I like Freedom Village. I’m very happy with them!

We were very happy with Harbour Village. Mom was here for a really long time, she really liked it. It's not new but it's a very nice community. She just started to need a higher level of care.

My wife and I have visited twice with outstanding results- seems to be top of the line with outstanding facilities and services. We plan to move there once we sell our Florida home and after looking at six other Independent Living Communities. Looking forward to being closer to daughters ,sons-in-law and grandchildren.

We were very pleased with the level of excellence here in all aspects. It is a very nice community and I'd rate them highly across the board. It is a nice looking place, very well kept and clean, and the staff have all been very friendly and caring.

From the first phone call to Rosemary at Eastcastle until my mother moved in our experiences have been beyond our expectations. On our first tour we were both impressed by how clean everything was and how friendly and welcoming everyone was toward us. Since my mother moved in she has been so busy with all of the activities that she hasn't needed to venture out much at all. She and her cat absolutely love their apartment. The head nurse MaryLou was very informative when she did her initial evaluation of my mother at my home. She is highly educated on senior medical needs and put both of us at ease with my mothers' concerns on her medical issues. Both Rosemary and Marylou stopped by my mom's apartment within hours of her move-in and welcomed her. I cannot say enough good things about Eastcastle and all of their staff!! I would and do recommend it to everyone!!!

I think they do a great job here. It's a nice clean community, and the care they provide is excellent. The staff are friendly, professional, and qualified. They've got enough staff that residents get attention when they need it, which is nice when so many of these places seem understaffed.

Mom has lived here going on 3 years and has enjoyed every moment. She feels very safe and secure. The food is wonderful and the activities director, Amy, is everybody's favorite. She brought a bus load of residents to visit mom while in rehab to surprise her on her birthday! And Mark, the director, is so caring. Recently, I was in my mother's apt decorating her tree when in comes Mark with a bowl of soup and a cinnamon roll. He knew she had not been feeling well. And you will see him and other staff members walking resident's dogs!! Parkwood is not the fanciest place out there but this place stands out among all others as being the most caring. NOTE: Parkwood Healthcare (next door) provides private rooms at no additional charge to the residents here that are over there for rehab. And the rehab is fantastic, also.

We are very pleased with the facility. The food is the one issue, it was good initially but seems to have fallen off, the taste, as well as the food being cold and tough. The view from the rooms and the certified medical staffing, the closeness to activities, are some of the reasons we chose this community.

As the daughter of an octogenarian couple who recently moved here, I have had nothing but positive experiences with Heritage Pointe (HP), its management and support staff. The food is above average (an important factor for my father), the activities seem almost non-stop, everyone is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Here's something nobody told my brother and me during visits with doctors and a social worker: For the adult children of a parent considering HP or any other assisted living, it's important to know that a move should be made *before* the parent is diagnosed with dementia. Once that diagnosis is confirmed in medical records, a place like HP will require residency in the "Memory Care" facility. My parents moved "just in time," as my mother is essentially "pre-dementia." Otherwise, my father would have moved to an apartment at HP and my mother would have gone to a separate facility on the same campus.

When my mother told me she wanted to relocate to the Towson area to be near me I knew it was time to look for just the right place. I toured both independent living and assisted living communities in the area. In the end the best of the independent living apartments was at Blakehurst Retirement Community in Towson. It was newer than many and had larger apartments than any others I toured. Time passed and before we knew it my mother had been living there for almost 4 years before her death due to health issues. She never had any complaints about living at Blakehurst and enjoyed playing bridge and attending concerts there as well as walking around the beautiful grounds to check on the many blooming plants. The staff are pretty darn good people and were accommodating when requests were made. When my mother needed some extra help they cared for her like she was their own mother. This made life easier for my mother and my family.
